This has been one of my more difficult reviews to write. First of all Yelp doesn't have a category of six stars which annoys me... so Goodfellas deserves six stars from me. It's basically a family I think that runs Goodfellas and if you hang out there a while like I have over the last couple weeks you see wrestling awards for the kids and Cubs scouts and soccer teams and highschoolers and veterans and families... It's like a happy day's diner but with Pizza and Cool garlic clove things. But the reason it was difficult was because they became kind of a family to me and so I told the team there they could write their own review and they didn't do it so that's either because they're too honest or maybe they don't do School assignments I don't know... From what I've observed they're pretty honest and they probably do their school assignments anyway it's a great place it has a great jukebox and I think they team up with the Deli pretty cool like and it seems like they've really liked and supported Pacifica for a long time. A pizza is only half as fun if Uber drops it off. And a big thank you to everyone there from me and my dog. And normally I would end this with I am not compensated for anything I just really liked the place but they were nice enough to give me some leftover pizza last night so I'm worried that they did that to get out of the assignment of writing their own review which is pretty brilliant...damn it... My friends and I stopped by after visiting a friend in the area. The pizza here was good. We ordered the Scarface pizza and enjoyed it - pepperoni and sausage. We also ordered lemon pepper wings. Not the best wings I have ever had but they were nicely seasoned and decently crunchy. The cheesy garlic bread was also super tasty, not overpowering with the garlic flavor and there was a good amount of cheese. The service was okay, it was fast, but they could be more welcoming. 3 stars because right after we came, a little league team came in and they just did whatever they wanted to the space; moved tables, chairs etc and the kids were all super rowdy which was off-putting. read more

The other night my job finished up nearby, and I was really hungry. I looked over the mixed reviews for this place on Yelp, but decided to try their pizza anyway. I walked in just before 9pm, and ordered a medium Combo Pizza. The lady at the register said that's a Medium "Da Godfather." The names of the pizzas are related to the names of mobsters and gangsters of the movies, TV, and history. Okay, this was my first time here. I believe I was overcharged for a 16" Medium Da Godfather Pizza. The menu says $22.50, and she charged me $27+. After I got home, I looked at the online menu. Same price, $22.50. So how was the pizza? No flavor and not enough cheese. I wasn't sure what was wrong with it. All the ingredients were there. Why does the sausage and pepperoni have so little flavor? Was the pizza undercooked? When I went to pull off a slice, there was no "cheese pull." There wasn't strands of melted cheese streaming off the pizza. That means there's not enough cheese. When I got home, I put two slices in my air fryer. I did 375"F for about 10-mins, and it tasted a little better. So let me get this right. There were three guys in the kitchen, and nobody knows how to make a pizza ? Would I return? No thanks read more

If you not a picky obnoxious Karen, this is a good pizza joint. Speaking as a local who has lived in Pacifica for over 25 years. Sure it may be a bit pricey but round table is more expensive i think. I always get the Goodfella and Da Godfather. The garlic bread is nice and soft. The Cheesy Garlic bread can stand to have its cheese toasted a bit more but its still decent. All these one star reviews are definit out of towners who are used to uppity downtown over priced brick oven style pizzas in storefronts that are being rented out for 36% over standard market price read more

The resturant itself and surrounding plaza are run down and dirty. Many of the workers are incredibly kind but clearly have the "just getting a check" mentality and don't really care about anything. The food is only mediocre and is mostly sysco :( read more

Great meatballs. I put them on my pizza since we had to get a veggie pizza for my sister. Now, my dinner party did have some difficult customers, but the service was pretty poor. I don't usually go here but decided to come by since it's closer to my house but will avoid in the future. I much prefer Luigi's pizza in Linda mar. read more

Wanted to like it, as the other food places were still "take out only" in this little plaza. The little plaza is pretty run down.......but we were stuck there for a while. Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza - pretty safe in unknown pizza places. The dough was chewy.....my wife did not like that - I was ok with it. It looks like they used roasted chicken (usually a good thing), but the bigger problem is that there were at least 4 pieces of cartilage (breast sternum) in the slices. That made my wife set her slices down for good. I ate them and were just careful. There were quite a few people working there - they must do a heck of a delivery service, as only 2 other people were sitting inside there. The bathroom is a mall shared bathroom. Nasty. I should clarify my favorite part of a pizza is always the sauce. If the sauce is delicious, then I love the pizza. The red sauce is so good here so I recommend the pizza. They do by the slice which is also good. Had the pepperoni and the pesto, loved them both. They also had celebration beer on tap. A win all around. read more

Pizza is mid. They are not very generous with cheese or toppings. Surprised they stayed in business this long. Crust is good for like 5 seconds after coming out of the oven. Wouldnt spend money at this place with those prices. read more

This is the worst pizza I have EVER tasted. How does this place stay in business serving this garbage. I ordered for pickup, they told me 30 minutes. I showed up in 25 minutes. The pizza was room temp, the cheese was barely cooked on top. The dough was heavy and dense. It seems like you would have to try to make a pizza this bad. The sausage was sawdust, there were 1-2 pepperonis per slice, the mushrooms looked disgusting and old, the onions were dry and dehydrated. This business must be a front for something else. There is no way they would stay in business just selling this garbage. It's really not that hard to make a decent pizza. If this business owner cared they would fire everybody and hire somebody who has experience making pizza to manage the place. read more

This feels like a Pacifica landmark. The ambience is great for kids. The food is reliably solid. The spicy seafood pasta is one of my favorites. The spinach salad with shrimp is also excellent. this is a community spot and we have been coming here for years. But I think it's time for Goodfellas to step it up. Today they were flat out room to us and our kids. Got the order wrong and didn't apologize when asked about it. The "large" salads are not large. They are small. I think Goodfellas needs to decide on improving either their portions, the quality of their food or the politeness of the servers. This is a community place. They can act like it. Was hoping to make this my local pizza spot! It's definitely hit or miss for quality. Depending upon who is cooking, your pizza and even the pasta could be excellent. Today I decided to stop gambling. My BBQ pizza had no sauce and the questionable pasta was definitely not Marsala. I called hoping to get a replacement pizza. Manager was out and they asked me to call her personal cell phone to make the request. I declined and instead asked to put in a new pizza order to ensure my family could have dinner at least before 8:30pm. The staff member on the phone agreed. Then called me back 5 minutes later to share he is not authorized to put in the order. What a mess of a business! I would have paid for the additional pizza -- I just want to feed my family at this point and not call your manager at her home. I will not be returning and will be sharing my experience with other to avoid this place. $46 for disgusting pizza and pasta is not worth it! read more

Had a bittersweet experience at Goodfellas pizza. We had my son's birthday there and honestly everyone was great during the planning and also on the day of. The big disappointment was that their website is completely outdated and they've recently almost doubled the pricing on all of their items. We thought that the price advertised on their website was the price that we would have paid and we're disappointed to pay over $600 for 8 pizzas and 4 pitchers of beer without be in told or having it clearly in writing on their website. At the counter, they pointed to a random printed out piece of paper stating they had a price increase. Would unfortunately not recommend goodfellas unless you are comfortable paying around $45 for a large pizza that is pretty average. read more

Ok pizza, but what threw me off was when i asked for plates for my 2XL pizzas i just bought & tipped on the bartender/front desk woman wouldn't give me plates to eat my pizza on. I asked her for some plates as we are doing a big moving job and need plates to eat our food on and she said she's not supposed to give plates out. I offered to pay for them and she still refused. The customer at the bar even was shocked the lady wouldn't give me plates and she offered to pay for the plates for me as well. This really put a bad taste in my mouth with this place and will not be back. I would understand if i wasn't a paying customer and asked for plates, however i just bought 2 xl pizzas and she was refusing me getting plates. Very weird. We got take out pizza Da Godfather, 1/2 with meat and half with only the veggies. The pizza was not cooked enough, crust was soft. There was no pepperoni on it. The vegis on it, although there were plenty, were almost raw. I ordered a medium and they charged us for and gave us a large. BUYER BEWARE As mentioned in previous reviews, they'll charge you 40% more than the pricing on the menu. Also got off work and thought I'd try this hidden local Italian place. After I ordered, I realized that I had just paid $25 for a small salad and simply spaghetti take-out. No drinks, nothing. Menu was $10 less. When I mentioned it, the lady said that they reserved the right to change their prices on the menu (but the menu is over 3 years old pre-Covid!! and it was 40% more ) Sure, prices have gone up but the food is average and certainly not worth SF prices in house. Owner is cheap, deceiving and most likely needs the prices because he/she will never have return business except for the local kids that work there - most likely under the table cheap labor. This was my first time coming here yesterday. My husband grew up down the street from Good Fellas, so I've heard a lot about it. I was interested to try it. Upon entering, it is not visually impressive at all. It was a little dark, but noticeably really really cold. They have a fireplace in there that doesn't work, and they kept both their doors open, so it was like a wind tunnel and freezing the whole time. They had one high chair and the straps that were supposed to connect had two total different connections on it. So the high chair was basically useless, because if my daughter can't be strapped in, she'll never stay down in a high chair. We had to trade off holding her during our meal because they didn't seem to prioritize having a functioning high chair. It was also really filthy, so we weren't stoked about having her in there anyway. The food was good. I got Rigatoni with creamy pesto and our grandma got the gluten free pizza. We also got the garlic bread (regular without cheese). I wasn't blown away with my pasta, the size was okay, and the sauce was okay, didn't have a lot of flavor. Honestly though, with the appearance and the high chair not working, I was definitely expecting worse, so the pasta was a pleasant surprise. I tried the gluten free pizza and it was pretty good. I don't have much experience with gluten free to compare to, but my grandma swears by it. Another reason for the lower stars is when I went to pay, none of the items on the menu were the right price when rang up. They pointed out that they have signs all around the restaurant, but I find multiple problems with that. One, their menus were super old and dirty, I think they can manage to upgrade the menus to get more accurate prices! Second, the waitress didn't point out that the prices were incorrect, and I feel like with something like this, the more you point it out, the better. Signs are fine, but I wasn't looking around the restaurant constantly to notice their decor or signage, and it wasn't like they were in the middle of the table or some place really obvious. The price differences were also significant. The pasta was supposed to be $10.75 I believe, and rang up at $14.75. The garlic bread was $2+ and I didn't even notice the other items. They also included an almost $3 service fee. Again, no mention of this. I don't even know if this was applied to everyone or if it was because we used a credit card? Still a mystery. Unfortunately, all of these surprise fees/costs/differences take away from the experience and makes me wish it is customary to mention all of these things to each table before serving. Oh ya the bathrooms were absolutely nasty as well, some of the grossest bathrooms we've ever seen! Two stars essentially are for the food being pretty decent! But nothing else really. read more

We've been coming here weekly since they opened 15 years ago. The past couple months have seen both the service and the quality take a nosedive. Seems like the waitress Tara is the only one left that still cares or puts in any effort. We've avoided going the last few weeks and ordered delivery tonight and it was the worst yet. *edit* ***After some sleep and thinking about it, I changed my review from 2 stars to 3 stars since I was peeved and was being harsh at the time of my initial review and, also, what I am peeved about is more my personal feeling and my word is not law or universal code. I gave the extra star because service was good, the pizza was good, they delivered it in a more than timely fashion, corrected their mistake and sent the new, correct pizza within 20 minutes. The delivery driver also represented the restaurant well and was respectful and apologized for their mistake, which is huge in my book.*** The initial review: I will start off by saying that they're pizza is good, but I do not care for their business practice by wasting food. This is the first time I ordered from them. I am babysitting my nephew in the area and he LOVES their pizza so I ordered a pizza an hour or so ago. Large with pepperoni and olives. When I received the pizza, it was missing the olives and they left the order receipt in the pizza box that says "Large pizza: pepperoni, olives" so it was clearly their mistake. I called back and spoke to the same lady who took my order about their mistake and my options were that they bring me a new pizza or they give me a discount on my next order. Well, I don't order from there and my nephew loves olives with his pepperoni on the pizza so I obviously asked for a new pizza. Her reply was, "We will send a new one and come pick up the other one." Yea, they were going to pick it up lol Well, I work 10 hour days and I hadn't eaten all day other than a light snack since that's all I have time for. Anyways, I ate some slices because my nephew might be a little picky, but I'm not and I was starving! When the delivery guy came and dropped it off, he actually asked for the pizza back. The delivery driver was a nice guy, very respectful and had great customer service and he was embarrassed for asking. He even said that he hates asking for the pizza back because it isn't right and when I asked what do they do with it, he chuckled and didn't even answer the question. He just said it was their business practice. So I want to safely assume they just throw it away, which is completely wasteful and really unsanitary. Yes, I did get the pizza I eventually wanted and that makes up for their mistake, but asking to take back a pizza that has been in someone else's house that has been partially eaten is disgusting. Especially because you know they are throwing it in the trash when the rest of my family would've eaten it, with the exception of my nephew. Pretty shady practice just because you might think people will lie about an order and won't give them their new, CORRECT pizza unless you give them back their mistake pizza.
