Four stars because the staff was amazing. From the girl who took the order, to the person who handed it to us and asked if we needed any sauce, everyone was knowledgeable and friendly and professional. I was really shocked because usually in counter service places, the staff can be hit or miss. To me it showed good management. Everyone is trained and held to a high standard. Really awesome. The pizza was fine. We enjoyed it, but it wasn't amazing. Pretty much the only reason I took away one star is all the tables were dirty. It wasn't that busy and they seemed to have enough people on that someone should have gone around and wiped all the tables. That is my problem with counter service places . Chloe was amazing patient and super nice. Someone in my party literally put every topping that was offered on his pizza and Chloe took it all in stride and made the pizza happily . My rating is based solely on Sharif the guy who was responsible for actually cooking the pizza. He seemed irritated from the beginning while we were in line and he wasn't even the one assisting. Then when it was time to put the pizzas in the oven I requested the pizza well done burnt to be specific ( which I know is odd , but my pizza my way right?) he took the pizza out and although it was well done I wanted it done a bit more , now he is even more irritated because he had cut my pizza without checking if it was ok and did not want to put it back in the oven because now the integrity of the pizza was falling apart. I thought this was great. It was my first time going to a MOD Pizza. Up until now, the only get in line and build your own pizza experience I've ever had was at Blaze Pizza and I think I might like this a little more. Like at Blaze, there's still the weird issue here of the worker looking at me like I'm crazy when I say I want all the meats on my pizza. I'm sorry, did I stutter? When I say all the meats, I mean ALL the meats. It's bizarre to advertise an unlimited build your own pizza thing then act like it's unusual when I say that I want everything. But after that was dealt with, the worker was generous with the toppings. Probably more so than the workers at every Blaze I've been to. And it came out great. A minor difference I noticed was that they put the arugula on top of the pizza before firing it up in the oven whereas Blaze tops it after the pizza has been cooked. I probably prefer the arugula topping the way Blaze does it but overall, I enjoyed MOD more. Also, I'm not sure how packed this specific MOD gets on weekends when I came here but when I ordered on Saturday night, the place was almost completely dead. If I wasn't ordering to go, I wouldn't have minded eating in here. Getting unlimited and unimpeded access to the fountain as well as peace and quiet while I eat is never a bad thing to me. read more

Came here for a quick lunch with my daughter. I ordered her the kid's pepperoni pizza which comes with a drink, and I ordered myself a mini one topping pizza (mushrooms). The size of the mini was actually a perfect size for an adult lunch. It's the same size that is given to the kids. The value prop of MOD Pizza is that it's fast, and it certainly was. There was only one person working but she assembled our pizzas in front of us, popped it into the pizza oven, and it was out 5 minutes later. The default crust is a thin crust and it was crispy, but not burnt. There are options to get other crust types if that is your preference. The tomato sauce here is on the sweet side. You can order at the store or online ahead of time and just pick up. I ordered on my phone and picked up at the restaurant 15 minutes later. I ordered the custom pizza with unlimited toppings ($12.89). Like I usually do at these pizza places, I stack the pizzas with a lot of toppings and a lot of meat. Regarding the finishes, I particularly like the garlic pesto and the Mike's hot honey. The service was fast and my food was ready when it said it would be on their website. I prefer ordering from the app/phone because I can really customize all the toppings and even decide if I want extra or less of an ingredient. I am not picky with food but I wasn't prepared for the quality and presentation. I'm always happy when restaurants have vegan options so I ordered a custom vegan pizza. There was little to no cheese the scarcest amount of vegan meat (try and find it in the pictures I added) whole entire garlic cloves and the crust was thinner than a saltine cracker even folding the pizza in two wasn't thicker than a cracker. I am unsure why the crust is so unbelievably thin and the crust was burnt and the ingredients were so sparse seemed like cutting all the corners possible. read more

You go up to the counter, choose the size MOD, 11" thin crust, The Mega, 11" thick crust and the Mini is the 6" thin crust then. Had an efficient experience at MOD. I walk up to the counter to customize my own pizza. They have a variety of toppings, sauces and cheeses to create the pizza of your dreams! The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The best part, unlimited toppings for ONE price. Even better is it was ready in 10min so you don't have to wait long to enjoy your pizza. I've been craving pizza lately and MOD pizza is convenient and yummy. You can build your own pizza and select your own sauce and toppings, but they also have their own pizzas that you can order if you're feeling indecisive or just lazy to decide what toppings you want. Ordered a 11" Dillon James today. I should have taken a photo of the whole pizza before a few pieces were taken, but here is half of it. A big part of the pizza came without the crust. Then it takes about 10 minutes for them to cook it in the pizza oven. We got the mega dough size $13.29 one because of the slightly thicker dough with beef, bell pepper, garlic, mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, sausage and tomatoes. Just love the numerous choices for toppings so it leaves nothing to the imagination. Make your own version of Hawaiian, Meathead, or Veghead. Or simply go with the Tristan, Maddy, Lucy Sunshine, Jasper, Dillion James, or Iggy - Flash Mod. Limited Edition toppings are popular, like the Taco Spiced Sausage I recently experienced. Salads can also be had for those named Twiggy. And like East Sussex in Quadrophenia... location to location can differ madly. Tried several locations throughout the Bay, and prefer Serramonte. So for the first time last night I ordered a box of pizza at 7:40 p.m. via online. It was said that it will be ready around 7:56 p.m. so I went to the store to pick up my pizza at around 7:55 p.m. just to make sure that they did not missed my order. But unfortunately it was missed.
