The bar area is beautiful, comfortable and service was excellent. The martini was on the large size, which doesn't offend me LMAO. And the beer selection also did not offend me. ;) The tuna tartare was soooo good, I could have eaten a couple of them. Taste was exceptional and really really fresh with no sinew. The fried chicken sandwich was crispy and full of flavor. I like this place after one visit and will return. Let's see if they can get that 5th star from me. I'm difficult so I've heard from all of my exes.

We were seated and our server, Joanne gave us a quick rundown on the menu. She was very attentive and personable. Our party of four ordered the pork sandwich, the shrimp BLT, deviled eggs, the pepperoni flat bread, the meatball skillet, shrimp cocktail and French onion soup. The sandwiches were excellent and were served with perfectly cooked shoestring fries. The soup was great - plenty of cheese & bread topping delicious broth & caramelized onions. Joanne was correct when she told us the shrimp cocktail was "elevated". The grilled shrimp were marinated and perfectly seasoned. The flatbread was good, topped with a drizzle of hot honey. The deviled eggs were yummy but I would rather the bacon on top didn't have a maple flavor to it. The meatball skillet was served with toasted bread slices, hearty marinara and dollops of ricotta. The meatballs were a little dry but we enjoyed it anyway. We will definitely plan on coming back to The Fort to try new items and for another pork sandwich. Great spot!

For about $16 I get a huge bowl that is two meals for me. It is LOADED with vegetables (green beans, potato, carrot, onion, broccoli, red pepper, and green pepper, which I normally ask to be left out) and chicken, which is my protein of choice. I also like to add some spice and some pineapple. It comes with white rice on the side, but you can get brown if you prefer. I recently ate in house with a friend. It's very casual and simple. The booth was clean and comfortable and the room was quiet with the exception of people talking at the other tables (there may have been some music). The service was very friendly (as they always are when I get take out) and helpful with all the questions my friend had. They were accommodating to her allergies, having no issues with additions and substitutions. She got Thai rice with Shrimp and I can confirm it was very good. Lots of flavor in the rice and the shrimp was grilled to perfection. Before we left she got green curry to go for her girlfriend and the report back was that it was delicious.

I ordered the Crazy Roll and a yellowtail scallion hand roll. The food was just okay. The hand roll was unraveling and the wrap was tough. I've had better sushi from here before that my son brought home, so the quality seems inconsistent. They offer specials, party trays, Thai options, and have a small dine in area that appears clean. Overall, between the uneven service and average food, I wasn't impressed and I'm not sure I'd return.

I live an hour away from Verona so when I heard this place was only a 15 min drive away from our hike, I knew I had to stop by. The well known Verona's did not disappoint. Unique to this pizzeria, the pizzas AND cheesesteaks are award winning. The wife and I ordered one of each. When we pulled up, this place was packed for 12PM. It hustlin and busslin! I ordered at the desk and waited maybe 25 mins (not bad at all for ordering in the spot and with the place being busy). Pizza: we ordered the "Hot Honey" at $27. We attacked this thing within 2 minutes of coming out the oven. Incredible dough with depth and texture. Perfect balance of sweet (sauce/honey) and savory (pepperonis/grated parm). Topped with fresh basil and hot honey. I wished there was more hot honey but to each their own. Elite pizza!! I highly recommend Cheesesteak ($18): we ordered it with fried onions and Cooper Sharp. Delicious bread, I'm assuming it's home made and if it's not it's definitely high quality bread. Tender ribeye steak chopped and mixed beautifully with the cheese and onions. Meaty sandwich for sure. I prefer my cheesesteaks a bit more cheesier but I was a happy camper as was my wife. All in all, this joint is pumping out top tier "pizzeria food". This will be my post hike reward anytime I'm in the area. Dare I say Verona's goes toe to toe with Angelo's Pizzeria (highly regarded pizzeria) as best in the state! 5/5
