My mom did not care for her corned beef sandwich and said the meat had a decent flavor, but was cut too thick. She also could not bite the bread's crust. Our latkes were tasty and you can't go wrong with Dr. Brown's cherry soda! Now, the disappointing part. I ordered take-out, one small chicken matzah ball soup and one potato knish. I ordered with the same woman who raved about their kinish and guess what, she forgot to include the kinish in my bag. She brought the take-out bag to our table and assured me everything was there. I asked if the kinish was there, to which she said, "yes, as is the soup". Drove home over 30 minutes and no kinish. When I called them, the woman who took my order and packed the bag said, "Oh". There was one waiter who could not handle everyone. The three ladies at the front counter could have helped. After being avoided for a half hour, we walked out. I have never seen such terrible customer service. Since it's a popular luncheon I do not understand why they do not have extra help especially at lunchtime hours.
