This place is overpriced and underwhelming. The salads and smoothies are bland and there are other places in the area that are better

The bar area is beautiful, comfortable and service was excellent. The martini was on the large size, which doesn't offend me LMAO. And the beer selection also did not offend me. ;) The tuna tartare was soooo good, I could have eaten a couple of them. Taste was exceptional and really really fresh with no sinew. The fried chicken sandwich was crispy and full of flavor. I like this place after one visit and will return. Let's see if they can get that 5th star from me. I'm difficult so I've heard from all of my exes.

We were seated and our server, Joanne gave us a quick rundown on the menu. She was very attentive and personable. Our party of four ordered the pork sandwich, the shrimp BLT, deviled eggs, the pepperoni flat bread, the meatball skillet, shrimp cocktail and French onion soup. The sandwiches were excellent and were served with perfectly cooked shoestring fries. The soup was great - plenty of cheese & bread topping delicious broth & caramelized onions. Joanne was correct when she told us the shrimp cocktail was "elevated". The grilled shrimp were marinated and perfectly seasoned. The flatbread was good, topped with a drizzle of hot honey. The deviled eggs were yummy but I would rather the bacon on top didn't have a maple flavor to it. The meatball skillet was served with toasted bread slices, hearty marinara and dollops of ricotta. The meatballs were a little dry but we enjoyed it anyway. We will definitely plan on coming back to The Fort to try new items and for another pork sandwich. Great spot!

From the street it has a really cool look and the inside leans into an industrial style with a great aesthetic. It's a comfortable space with a nice vibe. We ordered a couple of cocktails: a lemon drop and a Manhattan. Strategically we decided to split a Detroit-style pizza called the Iron Pig. Good call because one square was the perfect amount for dinner. And now we have a few meals to heat up for the next few days. The drinks were excellent and the pizza was outstanding. Great flavor. Our server Ally was welcoming and friendly and top notch on service. It is the middle of winter so we weren't considering outside dining, but they have a great outdoor space near the street. Looks like a fun place to hang out. It's definitely a place we'd consider visiting again.

They don't have server tunnel vision, they work as a team and it shows! The vibes are so cool here. I mean, if you're gonna open a cafe next to a scrap yard, you have to lean in to the theming. I love the vibes, I love the appearance. The food is amazing top to bottom. First, their coffee drinks are always spot hitting, partly due to the fact that they roast their own coffee beans on site. The cocktail menu is always enticing an even though I'm not a huge drinker, I'll be working my way around this. The breakfast options are plenty and if you don't get their bacon you are missing out! The lunch sandwiches are served on a house made ciabatta style bread. Packed with fresh meats, cheeses and veggies. Every ingredient is perfectly seasoned and added delicately, not just items slapped on a roll. The Detroit pizza is what initially drew me in. While they have some options with more toppings, I'd say go for some of the more simple Detroit pies to really allow the famous crust to really shine through. My personal favorite so far is the white pie they do with roasted portobello mushrooms. I have only been for breakfast and lunch but with all the craft beer options I need to go back for dinner to sit and relax with some friends and family!

Now there's a location that's about half the distance. Firdt I got the new Sriracha Tahini noodles (without the chili crisps to avoid the heartburn.) Very tasty. And this Friday, I got my favorite sesame noodle salad with (ohmygoodness) pineapple! I order it on the app and it's done. And it tastes homemade 'cause it's handmade - fast and fresh! And to add to my joy, Honeygrow has an excellent rewards plan. Love it!

The food wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. They have a lovely spot and they're definitely going for some sort of modern/fresh urban style that's not being lived up to. I love Asian fusion and my wife said she's tried one of their locations before and that we should try it, but it was a lot of oil and not a lot of flavor other than that. The chicken was kind of rubbery which I saw another review about and I'm surprised people love this spot as much as they do. This is not a bad spot if you want something new to try, it was a fun idea and interesting to try a new take. They don't have any real pictures of their food advertised and they're trying really hard to make it look like a fresh healthy menu, I don't think their meals reflect that. You could tell that the chicken was put in the box first, then the noodles mixed with a couple base veggies, then the cauliflower and blue cheese sauce on top. It didn't feel like a mixed vegetables stir fry the way I imagined. Again I think this could be really fun for people to try as a new spot, but I'm not sure we'll try them again. Their desserts do look great and may be worth us giving them another chance if we ever want to go out for a treat!

We probably only need 2 entrees, as the serving size is huge! If you share the entrees, it really isn't that expensive, esp. for great seafood. This time, I confirmed with the waitress how it would be prepared, but what came out was completely different, filleted with a tomato based sauce, peppers, and onions. I told them that was not what we discussed and made it clear I'm allergic to tomatoes. I was told it wouldn't be a problem to make the fish I actually requested. Instead of remaking the dish, they took the same fish back, removed the toppings, left the tomato residue and brought it back out with the same side; including cold rice. After I clearly stated an allergy, serving the same fish with the tomato residue is unacceptable. This was careless and disappointing. If a customer mentions a food allergy, the dish should be remade, not modified and sent back out.
