My cartilage piercing was infected for about a year, but I am told this is pretty typical. However, as soon as I took their jewelry out and replaced it, I haven't had any problems. Likewise, they pierced it with a ring instead of a stud which can complicate the healing process. Some of my friends have had even worse experiences with their nose piercings or eyebrow piercings getting really infected. If you're just getting lobes done it's probably fine. TLDR: cheap and not worth it. Pay a little more money for higher quality jewelry and better technique.

In we went and I told the gentleman at the counter what I wanted. He said I could walk in anytime for that. Out from the back came Jim who said he could do it right now. I told him what I wanted, and 5 minutes later he came back with a couple of sketches. I tweaked the font and toyed with the pink ribbon, and boom...15 minutes later I had my tattoo-exactly how I wanted it, where I wanted it, and without breaking the bank! It smelled nice and everything was clean. The art was tasteful. They sterilized everything and showed us the chemical strip that showed that everything was sterilized. I met with both the owner, Christian and the guy who would become my artist, Ricky Waite. I showed them what I was looking to get and booked an appointment for 3-4 weeks later. Long story short, Ricky came up with a design that far exceeded my original expectations. Could not be happier with the result. I will definitely be back. I'm already working on the next design.
