When a different vet called to give me the diagnosis I missed the call but called back within 30 minutes. I was told that a vet would call me back and that a prescription would be sent in. A vet NEVER called back and the prescription was never sent in. I had to physically go back to the office for any information on how or what i needed to do for my cat. I was met with "make another appointment." So I did, the vet tech that treated my cat the second time wouldn't answer my questions and I was told again I'd have to make another appointment and pay to talk to a vet. Not once was I given instructions on what to do to treat my cat, or a plan for treatment. They just want money and money and money. I wouldn't bring your pet here. When I try to contact the corporate office I can only send an email. Not surprising I've had no reply. I guess that would cost me money as well! HORRIBLE experience I hope no one else goes to this location! If I could leave ZERO stars I would.

It was a rough week battling parvovirus, but we took things day by day with their detailed instructions. She is now back to her silly and vibrant self. Like any first time dog parent, I didn't have pet insurance or the guidance to know what to do in such a scary moment. Time was crunching and my baby Akira needed care ASAP. AZPetVet understood the urgency of my puppy's needs and got her in immediately. At this point I had called about 8 vets and was about to drive 5 hours up north to see a vet on the reservation. Each place I called understood the urgency but wasn't able to accommodate us. AZPetVet immediately conquered all as they were able to set up a payment plan through a third party company which allows us to make interest-fee payments every month. You do have to put down 20% the day of the visit, but it's much better than paying in full. I also appreciated how AZPetVet routinely called us to make sure Akira was doing well and answered any questions I had. I was advised of this when she was brought back in the room, no big deal it happens. However, I had to dry her off with Kleenex tissues that were in the room and she's a long-haired pup. I use a lot of tissue and my hand was then covered in her urine. I tried to use the sanitizer on the wall near the door when I went to leave the room and the sanitizer did not work and the tech said oh dang sorry. I wish my dog would've been patted dry prior to bringing her back to me so that my vehicle seats don't get wet and so she's more comfortable, etc. And I wish the sanitizer was full so I didn't leave there with urine on my hand. The follow up phone conversation the next day with the doctor was very insightful and a plan was put in place for her well-being. I will continue to go back likely this was an isolated incident, and all the staff members were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The rooms were clean and well maintained other than the sanitizer being empty. The staff at the front desk were polite, courteous, and professional as well.

That said, the new group has proven themselves. The staff and waiting area are upbeat (they definitely like pink! Girl power!) I wish the chairs were more comfortable, but the waits are always short. Where we had one vet before, we now have 3. The hours have been expanded and communication is great. In addition, they seem to love the fur babies! The complete pet has made many changes, all for the better. I have found nothing not to like and am very pleased with their services!

I am the mama of Chocolate Muffin Dog…read more That's what we heard them calling our 6-year old cavapoo after they whisked her away. Somebody said, "Chocolate Muffin Dog is here." It had been just too much temptation. A Costco treat was on a table, at her eye level. My daughter's stepsister returned to find a wrapper, nothing more. We called our vet down in the West Valley to find out how serious it might be for our girl to have consumed a 1/3 lb dark chocolate chip dessert masquerading as a breakfast item. They asked casual questions, put us on hold, then casually said they were booked and to try the ER down the street. No assistance offered to tell the ER we had an urgent situation, so we still weren't sure that we did. If you live up in these Estrella hills, you know that everything is a half hour away. Cavapoo was showing no signs of anything but a sugar high at this point, had an extra pep in her step. But, we decided that if the vet at least thought she should get checked, we should get her in as fast as we could. I remembered that there's an animal hospital down the street. We called and the sense of urgency was immediately evident. The intake staffer asked her weight and then said she wasn't going to ask patient information because time was of the essence. She told us to get down there immediately. Chocolate Muffin Dog bounded in to greet everyone, and was whisked in the back. We were given constant updates on her care and then taken into an exam room to wait. To our relief, they were able to get her to cough it all up before it absorbed into her system. Sent her home high and loopy on an opioid, We are grateful to realize we have a little hospital that we, hopefully, won't have to rush Chocolate Muffin Dog to again.

I reached out to Angel Veterinary Services and was able to hold sweet toothless half blind and deaf fur baby as she crossed. It was very heartbreaking. I am so thankful for AVS for the kindness and compassion my pup received. They allowed me to read from a journal, hold her as long as needed, clipped some fur and gave me a clay imprint of her paw. A week or so later I received a handwritten card in the mailbox. Truly grateful.
