This was an impromptu stop. I love thrifting! Parking is not plentiful for this location. They are clearly marked for each business in the area. There is some street parking. This location is small and very organized. They have mannequins that are dressed stylish, nicely done. I found items priced here to be more reasonable than my local goodwill. I found a few nice things to use in my garden and craft room. The selection was plentiful. Plenty of clothing, shoes and dishware. The larger furniture and bikes were displayed in front of the building. They have like a drive thru donation drop off at the side of the building. Customer service was very helpful and friendly at this location. From my experience visiting many Goodwill locations the customer service is not as friendly as this place. Keep up the good work staff. I would check out this place again if I were in the area. read more

I used to stop in 3-4 times a week finding new merchandise and great prices. I started to notice the prices going up quite a bit, sometimes more than buying brand new. I stopped going so frequently hoping that maybe I could get lucky and find something affordable. That didn't happen so I have completely stopped shopping there. The staff has always been very warm and welcoming, they keep this store very clean and organized with selection of items always changing. Great merchandise, just too overpriced for a thrift store. I will no longer shop or donate to this Goodwill. read more

I stopped here in hopes of finding a Merle Haggard CD .Id been to the El Cajon and Chula Vista Good will and the Veterans thrift store in El Cajon with no success. I did find a George Jones CD. I also found a cool hat. What stands out about this location is how welcome and appreciated I felt in here. I was greeted by a couple of associates on the floor. The cashier was pleasant. She was friendly and helpful. She even carried on a conversation with me. It was a great visit. parking was a bit tricky based on the fact I'd never been here before, and my GPS misguided me through the Donation center . The guy was nice and directed me to the parking lot.The prices seemed reasonable when you factor in today's crazy economy. I definitely reccomend this Goodwill location if you live in the area or or are treasure hunting on a road trip, and like to feel welcome and appreciated while shopping. read more

There are some absolutely wonderful things about this store and others that are just inexcusably bad. I love that they have drive-thru donation! Just pull in and, almost immediately, someone jumps out and helps you with your goods. Every time I've been through there, everyone has been super friendly and helpful. The store is tiny but had lots of variety. Some of the prices, I thought, were a bit high, but most of them were reasonable or down right inexpensive. And, it was neat and clean - bonus! Where my experience went downhill was really at the beginning. We used the disabled parking, but the path to the store was not accessible for disabled. It included a step, bumpy and uneven terrain, which went uphill. It was quite a feat just getting my mom to the store. While the entrance is wheelchair accessible, the whole store isn't. The main kitchen items section has stairs leading to it. The light in this experience was Kathy (?). My mom had a lot of back pain and had to stop. Kathy offered her a chair near check-out. Upon cashing out, I asked if I could pull in the donation lane, which could be seen from where my mom was sitting, and then come get her. Kathy agreed and then offered to walk her out. Kathy not only escorted my mom outside, but all the way around the car and helped her get in the car. What a sweetheart! read more

Service is above and beyond when you arrive. Selection is limited due to it being a small store. But, I still found something good for what I paid. Quality and value are all things that is importance. They have great value throughout the store. I am happy with my purchase. Highly recommend this place especially the location. We bought a soundbar for $25. The worker told us they didn't have a power cord for it, but that they tested it before they put it out for sale. We ordered a replacement cord, but it doesn't work. They have a no return policy. I would have understood if we were buying at our own risk. But she told us it was tested and it worked. Not acceptable. read more

The staff at this goodwill is incredibly friendly and helpful- they deserve 5 stars! The reason for three stars is because of the prices within the last couple months. I would say almost all of my pants and many of my work shirts have been purchased from this goodwill throughout the years for around $6.99-12.99, with the occasional tag-still-on $15 purchase. In the last few months, the prices have skyrocketed, specifically on clothing items that I typically buy. A pair of outdoor pants, without tags, was $25 the last time I went in. Before, I used to leave with at least something almost every time that I would stop (sometimes more than once a week). I still stop by occasionally, but would say that I only buy something a quarter of the time because of the increased prices. Aside from clothes, there are frequently items prices higher than they would be to buy new, or just short of. Mostly, this is kitchenware and things of that nature, but a while back I saw a trailcam for $90 that retails for $75. I get it, things are getting more expensive and workers are getting paid more (thank goodness), but these items are donated and in my opinion, massive price spikes will only hurt the business since most of these items will now just end up at the bins. Still, I love stopping buy and occasionally do find some hidden treasure for a good price, but it seems to be happening less and less. read more

I recently lost my husband and need to move to a smaller home. While emptying closets, cupboards, etc. I have many items that would be wonderful to donate. My problem is that my Goodwill seems to only be open when they feel like it. The yelp information says excepting donations from 10am until 2 pm. I have gone there at 1pm and several times at 10:00 or slightly after. They have the steel gate closed! This is forcing me to trash many bags of clothing, coats, etc. read more

As I look around the Jean section, a lot the new tagged jeans like some from target have the new tag on. But priced as the tag with the new jeans. Thank had some with new tag worth same price as they priced it. Manager named suzie came out. I mentioned what I found in the jeans section and if I can get lower price , she said no. Their quality isn't good. A lot of clothes and items are stained and ripped . Over priced. Some stuff I found at Walmart cheaper than there. They will price anything with bad quality PERIOD. Small store, but clean. Pricing is hit or miss. I got a couple queen sized quilts in excellent condition for $12 each, a new Eddie Bauer watch in the box for $12, clean pastel copy paper for $3 a ream. Many other items are overpriced. However, that's par for the course for most GW's, you just have to do your research. One benefit, they actually LET YOU USE THE BATHROOM. Not true of other Goodwills. I find that extremely annoying, especially if I'm shopping for a while. Two racks of women's clothing, one of men's and kids, and five or six boutique circle racks. Two small shelves of knick knacks and housewares, one back wall shelf unit with glassware and ceramics (plates, bowls, etc). The side room has electronics, books, more knick knacks. The very small patio has crafting items and limited furniture. Two fitting rooms. Inventory changes rapidly, it's good for a weekly stop on the way home from work. Staff is friendly and almost always greets everyone as they walk in. read more

They actually hand pick their merchandise which I found a lot of name brands in excellent used and new condition. Very clean, organized, and well stocked for being such a smaller store. 2 convenient dressing rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although it's a small location, it's about the right size for our community. Really cool stuff in the store at reasonable prices too. Dropped off items several times over the past two years when wife decided we had too much stuff. People in drop off area were friendly and helpful. A few items we were getting rid of, they couldn't take at this location, but at least they referred me to the correct location. My kids like to go there to look around and sometimes buy stuff I don't think they really need, but sometimes you just have to let them choose for themselves. Who knows, maybe it will be in OUR next donation pile! Displays are always nice as well. They do a great job for such a small store. read more

I came here to drop off some items to donate. While waiting for the person in front of us in the drop off line, my husband decided to unload items out of the car to help speed up the process. While doing so, the woman working rolled her eyes at him doing it. When she was done with the person ahead of us, she threw our stuff and although my husband offered to help she just gave him attitude. Worst customer service. This is a smaller Goodwill store with great customer service. Small, yet you can still find some good items here. Good housewares selection, but limited clothing selection. I like the little outdoor area where they keep larger stuff. I found a nice touch lamp here for cheap, and some pyrex pots, too. There was a Dooney and Bourke purse in the case, but it was overpriced, especially since it was counterfeit. Fun place to thrift shop. read more

$10.00 Adidas jackets. $8.00 bobbleheads brand new in box. Sure it's a thrift store?!?! A little pricey for my taste. I did buy the Bobblehead though for my Hubby since he collects them. I got a .99 mug that I'll resell. I got my daughter a Tigger placemat for .99. It still had the tag on it from the Disney store for $5.00. So at least they didn't charge me that price. I got a really nice Padres bag that I'm sure someone got free at a game. I only paid $2 for it. I also got a Padres water bottle for .99, that I'm sure someone got at a game for free too. All in all it's a nice small store. It's only been open for a short time. I would suggest that they not put so much stuff out at one time. They had dishes teetering on dishes. Very scary and you don't want to touch and search because you are afraid everything will go crashing down. I will definitely come back when I'm visiting my family. I'll have to search high and low though to find the REAL goodwill deals. read more

This Goodwill is like a hidden Alpine boutique. The staff goes above and beyond on the goods' displays. Color and creative layout makes this store one of my San Diego County Goodwill favorites. I go into this store and it is like an eye-feast. I asked one of the store employees who does the displays and he told me they all pitch in. All apparently talented young folks. I'm not one to complain but this store sucks now. It used to be really nice there is always lots of things to choose from for men and women. The men selection is almost nonexistent now and the layout of the store just retarded everything is mixed up.
