My sister's necklace had a clasp that needed to be repaired, while I had a necklace missing a loop, and two bracelets that needed welding done. Terry helped us out, and everyone in the shop was very kind and friendly. All of the repairs only took an hour and a half, and the location is nearby Mission Valley (about 10 minutes away), so it's very convenient to go around the area while waiting. The clasp for my sister's necklace costed $45, my necklace with the missing loop was $25, and the welding for the bracelets were $15 each, so a total of $100. Not only is Kim My fast, they are very affordable and reasonable with price. The jewelry looks brand new as if nothing happened. I brought a ring and watches to this jeweler. I was unhappy with the ring sizing as there was a…read morevisible 'seam' where they cut and reattached it. I was told it was a new goldsmith. Then I brought several expensive watches to have battery replaced. All three watch batteries needed replacement within 6months to 1 year. What is weird, whenever I had batteries replaced elsewhere the batteries lasted well into a 3-5 year range. One of the watches needed a new movement piece. Apparently, they replaced the movement piece with a off brand, (not an original /manufacturer movement piece). I was never informed there was a choice in movement pieces as I would have paid more for an original/manufacturer one over some generic off-brand movement piece. I have no confidence on the quality of their work nor their honesty to fully inform a patron on options. We don't know, what we don't know and the watch repair was not fully explained. I learned about the movement piece because the darn battery failed again and I took it to a specialty watch repair shop who opened the watch and showed me.

By the end, I was satisfied with the information we cleared up, and the steps we took to confirm that the 'crack' was a natural inclusion that came with the stone before it was placed in the ring setting.
