Good buy on books, but watch the weight on other items: good idea weigh be fore you buy. Stand clear on bin change.

This is the best possible rating for an Outlet in my opinion. For those who aren't outlet shoppers, it can be overwhelming. So I don't like giving 5 stars and people walking in just to walk out. You need a mindset of sifting, rummaging, picking, etc. there are several people who dislike this type of layout. In all honesty as a kid I was one of those types. Now, after some major changes, some beyond my control, leading to a compete change in every part if my life. I resell. The majority of the customers are resellers. If your not, don't be offended if someone gets in your way to snatch something out from under your face. Unfortunately, with all the adrenaline going and the chaos created simply from having bins full of items, it gets a little childish. We (resellers) have all had our moments getting to into the process of digging. Don't let anyone tell you they love that item you picked up sooooooo much, they have never seen one like it, they collect those, and get to feeling bad. They may or may not but it's a first come first serve you got it first. Never let a kid take your item, never let anyone tell you their kid is looking for that item. I've been that kid, my mother had me hustling all sorts of cheaper prices and not only is that manipulative, it encourages deceptive and aggressive people to do the things they do. Lots of people are barely making ends meet. For every Pawn Star there are at least 50 C-list sellers. Anyway I'm about to head to this store now, and a free a recent unpleasant taste from a different location. I felt the need to say, even the intense moments here are okay. There's always going to be the time shoe people start arguing and people get elbowed a little. I personally will have no less than one time flipping out expletives from loosing a personal item I brought inside. The people who work at this location are nice, and they keep the merchandise flipped frequently. Wow, that was super long. When I review other outlets I'll have to refer people back to this. Have fun, don't take yourself too seriously. There's enough people have to worry about on the daily, no need to add to it! Enjoy. read more

Last week, I did show up unprepared: no gloves etc. I quickly re-purposed a youth lacrosse stick for moving the 'goods". I found a next-to-new silk designer tie. "Olivia" my friend's granddaughter, got a personalized wooden clothes hanger. The workmanship on that alone was amazing. A Williams Sonoma recipe journal- binder was sitting in its box, never opened and waiting to be claimed (at book rate, I might add). A vintage Julius Resnick handbag will find its second wind, along with the crochet, macrame bag that took me back to my hippy days for just a few seconds. The damage: I got change back from a five dollar bill. Cha-ching!!! I was present for the switcheroo. That is always an experience. Just like anywhere, the place has it's share of rude people. I have to say, that I encountered many more respectful, friendly people. In other words, we steered clear of the madness and still managed to land some mighty fine "leftovers." read more

It started out okay, but the quantity and quality of the items put out has greatly reduced and it is now a disappointment. 1) they are now only open until 6PM, M-Saturday. 2) Their employees cherry pick out the best items to sell online at the shop goodwill site. 3) I have heard there are "parking lot" sales between staff and professional sellers from three different people but have not seen that myself. 4) Half the bins in the room are swapped out at a time, during the day for a total of two total times so that the room is only "swapped" once a day. This is NOT what the Goodwill website says. It is supposed to be swapped once every 45 minutes. Worse, I was there when they merely re-arranged the same items that had been out for several days, and put them out in the bins again, as if they were fresh to the floor! People were very disappointed. 5) These "downgrades" combined with cherry picking leads to a disorganized mess of broken and chipped glass thrown into the bins, holiday items for holidays that passed a month ago, and an assortment of badly used pots and pans, stained clothes, unwearable and scuffed shoes, and a few decent finds. If you want to spend a few hours to find 1 or 2 decent things, it might be worth a go. 6) Finally, while the staff is nice, over half of the shoppers would push their grandmother out of the way if they see something in a bin they want. Many of them pretend not to speak or understand English, so if you get physically pushed, its like they enjoy a bubble of immunity, since nothing is done to correct these people by the staff. I have literally seen a small boy struck with a shopping cart, and it was as if nothing happened (keep in mind when the bins are swapped out, it becomes a "free for all" chaotic run to see whats in them.). All in all, if you like to physically compete for cherry picked stuff, this might be your thing. Its possible to find some decent stuff, but you do so at your own time and peril. read more
