This location was sort of a mess. I mean, all Goodwills are sort of a mess on some level, but this one felt more of a mess as, to me, the space was too small for what they are offering. With that, the layout isn't the best. With the addition of non-donated items to the front of the store, takes up some space. I mean, I understand that you have this in any traditional store, but to have it at a Goodwill just does not make sense to me. Tons of clothing to browse through if you have the time. But the other areas are lacking and sometimes the items are mixed in inappropriately. Like putting clearly electronic items mixed in with kitchen gadget. Big goodwill, lots of items. It's way overpriced and I don't feel like you really get a bargain for people's DONATED FREE ITEMS they give to the organization. The goodwills closer to me are cheaper. Staff were almost non existent and didn't talk at all during check out which is fine but someone else might not like that. The items are a hit or miss, and they are NOT organized!! What a dump! I don't know who prices these items but it's in the same shopping center as a Marshalls and they're pricing Ralph Lauren T-shirts for $16. Spend the extra four bucks and go over to Marshalls and get a brand new one that no one has sweat in! Unbelievable prices for Talbot clothing, just because it says Talbots if it has stains on it, it's not worth $17!!! Meanwhile you have Brooks brothers skirts that sell for up to $ 350 per price for 5.49$ - which is a great deal if it wasn't ripped in a broken zipper !! somebody needs to get an education on luxury brands versus warehouse factory clearance prices on name brand - and you need to inspect the items if they have stains on them no one's going to pay you outrageous prices if they're ripped, no one's going to pay if items are stained- atmosphere is dimly lit and kind of dirty - staff are rude - skip this place altogether! read more

Very chaotic. Unclear handwritten signs. Online it says their donation center is open until 1pm, so we hustled. There were like 20 cars of people also trying to donate at the same time. We saw a sign for 3pm as the donation end time. The unfriendly Indian woman didn't have her mask on properly and then directed me to put my clothes in the bin, but I didn't have all clothes in my box, though she insisted I put everything in the bin anyway. read more

I dig. The funny thing is, I have only come here to drop off, never to peruse. That is, until today. It is a nicely sized Goodwill with things separated by clothing type. Everything is already priced marked on the rack, with the exception of the 50% off color of the day. They have good stuff; name brand too, if you're into a good dig. Some things still have tags on them. Random dope thing to know- Target donates a lot of their items to local Goodwill's, so don't be surprised if you see a lot of their brands (with tags) there. I came to this Goodwill because I had some Ravens gear to donate and it was close to where I was staying. I live elsewhere now and was in town to visit a friend. Their website said they open for donations at 10:00 on Sundays. I get to the store at 10:00 but they're closed. On the door, it says they open at 11:00. I wish they had updated their website and I would have tried another Goodwill. read more

Pros- friendly staff and easy drop off location. Con- unreasonably priced items. It's actually laughable. Who's in charge of pricing? $40 for a used Polo hoodie? Really! Shoutout to our local community heroes, like David! He was kind, patient, and calming. He even carefully wrapped my glass items with newspaper. The store is organized for the most part, but people put things that they change their mind on getting almost anywhere the want to. I have seen all types of people all hanging out looking for bargains and little treasures. I was able to find a lot of cute things and the type of clothes and accessories that I needed. I found exactly what I needed and tried not to impulse buy. It's hard not to get more than I have space and use for. My hubby hates when I bring half the store home :) read more

I was not impressed with how you have to drop your donations in big boxes. If you are leaving anything with multiple parts; they will be lost and the item is probably thrown away. Sad. If you have something with multiple parts, make sure you put it in a bad that is taped shut. read more

This location is dirty and disorganized. The staff are friendly, but not very good at communicating when it comes to donations. The floors are messy and the shelves look like a toddlers closet when you've asked them to clean their room. The store is small, the aisles are too compact, and it's very poorly lit. read more

I have always had a great experience with this location. Given the current "climate" of negativity and stress we are ALL EXPERIENCING DURING THIS CRAZY TIME, I always say thank you to the staff and they always say thank you to me. I box or bag all that I can, and what can't fit into a box I walk to the receiving door. If your "goods" find their final resting place at the dump, perhaps that's where the belonged in the first place. Kindness begets kindness, and it starts with you. read more

So disappointed to arrive at donations yesterday at 4:03 PM and be told I couldn't leave a donation because they close at 4. They could clearly see I was on "older"person, lugging a very heavy bag and they refused to walk over and take it from me. They lost a donation of exceptionally good quality clothing worth a lot of money. A truly unpleasant experience that I will not repeat. Dear Unknown Woman, I don't know what he did, but I appreciate you for respecting yourself enough to put him out. I also appreciate that you took his Jordans, PS4 games, and flat screen TV to the Goodwill where someone like me could find them. This place is one of the best thrift stores I've been to. They're not consistent in the sense that what you'll find is hit or miss, but that's not their fault. They rely on donations. But, like I said, one weekend I walked out with the entire "typical man" collection. On the last Saturday of the month, everything is 50% off excluding brand new items. If you're already in the area, it's worth a trip just to see what you can find. read more

This is short review for the drop off side, which is in the back of the building. It's early Saturday and it's clear today. We have come at other times and they get hit with loads and loads of donations. They are well organized and the guys are always helpful. The whole store looks great. Normally I try not to diss a business, but seems that a lot of the charitable reselling organizations have the same problem Goodwill in Snowden Square... these people are busy, I understand that. They have some type of ' consideration ' which suggests they don't always operate as normal.. (don't know but that's what THEIR signs suggest).. But for some reason.. At least have the courtesy to say 'THANK YOU'. sure my donations may not be thousands of $$$ in your pocket. But when I take the time to load a car with stuff which you can resell for hundreds of $$$ and haul it to your location... only to be yelled at because it's not ' in moving boxes ' or neatly packaged for resell.. And it don't hurt to say " THANK YOU " either.... you getting donations, people are GIVING you things to resell so you can stay in business. Well, just discovered... it make me feel better just bringing all this stuff to the dump and giving it a final resting place, instead of trying to jump through hoops bringing this stuff to people who from all outward appearances suggest that goodwill has reached the point where it is doing people a favor by taking these FREE donations so they can RESELL them. It's hard to believe that Goodwill has anything left to sell with the way that they throw breakable items in large boxes. I've been clearing my house out with many items that are in great condition and could be put to good use by others. Some of the goodwill employees are so incredibly rude that I will take my items to the dump before I donate there again. I feel angry every time I donate there. Bad job, Goodwill! read more

NOTE: "Superstore" means that this store distributes donated goods to other Goodwill stores that don't get enough donations to stay open. It does not mean that the store itself is huge. I shop at this store regularly. I've found some good stuff---a couple of good wool sweaters, some nice dining chairs, pots and pans, dishes, etc. Like any thrift store, you don't find something every time but hunting is part of the fun. My only complaint is that sometimes there are not enough people at the cash registers and the line gets pretty long and moves slowly. If you are donating at this location you do not go into the store the drop off point is between the store and staple in the alley. I shop at various area thrift stores more than once a week. I will not return to this one; it is seriously overpriced.

I went to drop off some stuff to donate but it was after hours....so I went into the store. this store has a lot of high quality castoffs from the rich folks of columbia that it kind of resembles the marshalls nearby in terms of clothes and shoes. a lot of the shoes/clothes were fashionable/career friendly and lightly worn and some stuff even had tags on them. also good quality furniture and appliances. I will definitely come back when I need work clothes/shoes/purses. You can definitely clean up here. read more

I dropped off an electric lawn mower at 9 AM when the store opened. The person who accepted the lawn mower was VERY polite and helpful. The lawn mower otherwise would have to be taken to the dump which is far away. Also, the lawn mower would have not benefited anyone. I can't wait to do some shopping at the store. I had been saving up clothes I never used or rarely used and in great condition, some very nice clothes. Finally I had quite a bit in a large new clean moving bag, and brought them to this Goodwill. I took the large bag from my car and started walking toward the worker standing in the parking lot. Right away before I said anything, she started screaming at me rudely. For some reason they had decided to take only used furniture that day, but there was never a sign up or anything on the website. I asked if there wasn't a place I could just leave them, because they were very nice clothes, and I had to make a special trip. The girl's screaming rose to a fevered pitch, and she became even more verbally abusive and ugly. Capped of by threatening to call the police on me if dared to leave the clothes. This all because I nicely asked a question! The people who work here are SCUM. This place is SCUM. They carry a lot of overpriced, ridiculously priced crap, but they have no desire to take in anything nice or treat people decently. I would never try to donate here again. I would actually give 0 stars. I had 2 large bags of very usable clothing to donate. I Googled Goodwill and saw they were open until 6pm, so I drove over there. I arrived at 4:22. With my mask on, I asked the lady at the door if I should bring my donations in that way and she said that donations were accepted at the back, but that they stopped taking donations at 4pm. I told her that their Internet listing and also the sign on the door said 6pm and she said that was for sales only. I asked her to cut me a break and she sent out a large dude. He said that was the rule. I asked what would happen if I just unloaded them onto the sidewalk and he said they would call the police and report me for dumping. So I put them back in my car and asked him again to please take them. He said he couldn't; that was the rule and he was not the manager. I yelled at him that I wanted to speak to the manage. Then it got really ugly. Some ugly dude on a fork lift drove by and yelled at me that I couldn't yell at them like that. He hopped off his fork lift and approached me until he was about 3 feet away. His mask was around his chin. I stepped back and asked him to please put on his mask. Not only didn't he comply, but her got belligerent and refused. I asked him again and he got more angry. The non-manager took a picture of my car. Why? I asked the fork lift dude his name and he absolutely refused. So I took his picture and will be reporting him to Goodwill. This Good will store is way, way overpriced on everything but clothes. Even some of the clothing items are priced too high. I was shocked to turn over some of their shoes and find prices of $30, $50, and $40. Say what??? A quick search on eBay revealed mutiple pairs of the EXACT same shoes for less than 1/2 that price. I don't know how they stay in business at that location- either the folks that shop there have a lot of money or lack awareness of their other options. SAD that a purported charity is actually ripping people off so badly. read more
