I came to this location to donate clothes for the first time and had an awful experience. There aren't any signs indicating to drive thru, so I pulled up to try and ask. This guy inside just kept staring at me and walked inside instead of trying to assist. So I got out of the car to politely ask the process. Pete, the worker, very rudely responded and giving me unnecessary attitude and trying to belittle me for just inquiring about the process. When I told him this was my first time and he can simply answer my question without the rudeness, he just continued with unnecessary comments. I just don't understand why a simple "excuse me, how do I donate clothes" turns into such a difficult task for a worker to answer. Thank you to the manager who at least offered a quick apology. But I will never donate clothes to this location after my experience. read more

Come to this brand new Goodwill while it's still fresh! Everything is so clean, sparkly, and it smells good! They seem to carry (at least for now) great brands and clothes in very good condition. Prices remain constant for articles of clothing regardless of the brand, which could potentially mean great finds for you. I know I found some really cute pieces here! Right now, the lines for check out are pretty crazy. They only have 2 dressing rooms so you might end up waiting a while to try things on, but I thought it was worth it. Definitely want to start frequenting this location to pad my closet! read more

I enjoyed dropping my donations from goodwill, because they have the drive through and giving me receipts for tax deductions. Also, I can easily get rid of my old clothes from shrinking or faded. read more

A small but very well-kept Goodwill Store. Friendly staff. Found a vintage Seiko Anniversary Clock that was made in Japan for a nice price. After removing and replacing the leaked battery, it came alive in perfect order with rotating pendulum! Nice! read more

This place is more about making numbers at selling everything as if it was brand new. The manager(s) could care less about the people who donate or shop there... good like finding customer service or a decent deal here. FYI, when someone ask you if they can buy a whole golf set, don't tell them that you can make more money selling them separately and then refuse to help someone out. I went to this location today. GW always has color of the week 50% off. I completely understand if I there aren't too much color of the week on Tuesday cause they always start the color of the week sale on Friday. But today, I cant find any BLUE (color of the week 50% off) on WOMEN clothing cause the employee took all the BLUE tags and take it out from the hanger and bring all to the back room. So what is the point having a sale when they hide all the sale items? I always gave a benefit of the doubt when people complained about GW but today I saw it my self and it's really shady they did that. Really disappointed. read more

I've been to this store several times as it's the closest one to me. It's just like any other Goodwill, although this one is on the smaller side and the aisles are pretty narrow. The shelves are packed but unfortunately I have never found anything worth purchasing at this location. The prices are too high for a thrift store. read more

Love this store very clean and organized and the staff is so helpful and friendly. They had a great collection of Halloween costumes new and used . I bought my Aunt a steam punk hat and she loved it , she wore it to a Stevie Nicks Tribute band and got many compliments. I found a beautiful in great condition cast iron skillet! They had plenty of mini Lysol's (wish I would have bought more) and hand sanitizer and wipes, but I went back and they were all gone read more

This is the easiest, most place place to donate items that I have found in the area. You don't even have to get out of your car, just dive through, pop the trunk and they do the rest! read more

The Cypress location is a convenient location for me in my travels so I drop in 3-4 times a week. Because of the time of year I've looked through the Halloween costumes for the last month. I noticed several items that I thought were over-priced so I decided to wait till they went on clearance. Yesterday there was a western style jacket on one of the Halloween racks. When I went to purchase the item the manager refused to sell it as a Halloween item saying it had the wrong tag. I tried to explain that it was on the Halloween rack for several weeks. It didn't seem to matter so I asked if they check to see if they check their own racks. They don't. This store is relatively clean and organized but I thought it important to warn yelpers that the store doesn't care to monitor and maintain their sales racks which is a shame. It's not unusual to hear items break from messy unorganized over crowded shelves. read more

I tried to donate two outdoor chairs and cushions that we had and they would not take them because the cushions are faded and the chairs are a little dirty. You are telling me you can wipe them off? They are free come on guys. read more

This place opened in January. It is the first Goodwill store in the beautiful city of Cypress! This Goodwill was posh and clean and staff was pleasant. Fitting rooms were clean as well and they had a bunch of back to school stuff for the kiddos. Check out this new location and maintain its cleaniness:) read more

I was helping my daughter with her Good Will items and left one box at Salvation Army on Stanton/Orangethorpe and they were rude and said they didn't have room. I have been frequently visiting this goodwill for the last couple years. Since the pandemic started I needed an affordable solution for shopping for clothes compared to retail. Sadly though, this goodwill falls into the same trap many goodwills now a days are going through, greed. Greedy pricing strategies not only factor in individual garments for pricing, but also individual brands as well. This can include sought after brands like Nike, adidas, Harley Davidson, etc. How can a non for profit company charge such ridiculous prices for items they get for free? What is the alternative for individuals who cannot afford to shop anywhere else? This goodwill and many like it have sadly become the problem they tried to solve. Charging near retail prices for items they receive for free. For a non for profit company and store, they sure love to make as much profit as they can. I will not be going back here and will look for affordable clothing elsewhere, too bad. read more

They rejected all of the stuff I brought. Sold it all on OfferUp for $80 the next day. Don't waste you're time.

This goodwill is fairly large and clean and the employees seem nice and helpful. They have a lot of clothes available. The downside is that this is by-far the most expensive goodwill I've ever seen. It's seems like they want to squeeze out every cent they can. Their jackets are all basically $20+ (even an old high school water polo windbreakers with someones name printed on it). The pots and pans can be $15-20, Soaps and deodorant $4-6, Toys still in the box $20-$30, used appliances are maybe 30% less then the brand new price. They have a photo booth in the back that use take pictures of all their "good stuff" to sell online to get even more profit. I understand this is a business and they need to make money but I'm not getting the "goodwill" vibe they want to offer discounted product to people who can't afford full price stuff. If you are looking to donate your goods in hope of helping out the local low income community, I would consider donating to a salvation army or just a different goodwill. Anyways, with all their products being free donations I hope this goodwill considers lowering their prices a little. read more

The couple of times ive been here the ambiance of this place is amazing! its well decorated, clean, and beautiful to say the least. ive found a couple of great finds while ive been there, emolyees amazing except for this one time i came in. I came in this one morning last week and i found to my curiosity this small (philipino? I believe) lady was just following me all throughout the store. Trying to customer service the crap out of me! I get that people go in there to shoplift since its a thrift store but that doesnt mean everyone is. I felt so uncomfortable that she kept eyeing me that i could not shop comfortably. i couldn't get through an isle without seeing her near me. To make things worse the way she treated her emolyees, it seemed like she was on a power trip! i hope shes not a manger this lady seems to be a nightmare to work with. I also noticed this lady angelica? I caught a glimps of her name tag and she was standing in the front scoffing the entire time as if she was too good to work there. Laziest human ive ever layed eyes on. I left everything there in my cart since i couldn't shop in peace and felt like the employee didn't care that I felt harassed. My first time @ new store & was dropping off about 8 baby items & there was no clear signs of enter or exit so I pulled in and began unloading wen I was informed I could not unload until I turned my vehicle in the opposite direction 4 store policy even though there was zero signs or other patrons ( they could of said next time please enter this way) so I left & just discarded all items .. the store should b aware that customer service should b priority wen taking donations!!! read more
