After checking the hours and days it was open, I brought some clothing by to donate. Even though it was well within their hours of operation (around 2 PM on a week day), there was a sign on the door saying they were out and would be back shortly (and please don't just leave donations outside). Annoying, but maybe they were short staffed and the person manning the place was late getting back from a late lunch. I waited around for half an hour, but no one showed. I had to come back on a different day. Finally got the stuff donated, but it was annoying to go out of my way twice to give a clothes donation. I know things can come up unexpectedly, but it would be helpful if one has to close up unexpectedly to maybe provide a reason and a firmer eta for when the staff will be back. The person was very nice and helpful when they were finally open, though. Note, I don't know if this place is still open, as I tried the phone number listed for the site and it was disconnected. I more recently donated at a site up on the corner of Fair Oaks Blvd and Arden, but the guy told me they were about to close down last time I went and only took one box. Is Goodwill going out of business, or are they doing so well they don't need to make it easy for people to donate anymore? read more

Looks closed, but is actually open. The windows were recently tinted so it is hard to tell, but this location is indeed open and accepting donations. Apparently the phone does not accept incoming calls, so don't bother calling ahead, but this location is open from 8am to 8pm. It's certainly nothing fancy, but it gets the job done in terms of getting your second-hand or formerly loved clothing, furniture and other knick knacks into the hands of someone who needs them more. The store space is pretty barren; it's really just a drop off point. I've never met an unpleasant employee. Unlike some other places, they aren't too picky either, so I don't have to rifle through bags to pick out items they insist they won't take like hats or shoes. No problems on my last trip here. This is but a drop off donation center, no bells and whistles. In and out with the quickness bibbity bobbity boo alright now. I've been doing early spring cleaning in my Narnia closets and last week I got a little carried away. Before I knew it the hour was late and I had a big load to take. This was the only place open in my area so I gave it a whirl. As I pulled up and shut off E., I made eye contact with the lady manning the drop off counter while still perched in the driver seat. She came out straight away with a rolling bin to help me unload E.'s trunk. It was a completely painless process and 100% would do again when pressed for time. These places are ALWAYS a gamble. I didn't have time for that during this donation. I was on a time crunch with my uHaul and had to donate my furniture fast. Luckily, the lovely ladies at this location assessed what I had and then accepted it. We said we'd do all the heavy lifting, but they helped with some too. They were extremely kind and I'm honestly writing this because they didn't turn me away. I've been to a handful of the Goodwill Donation Express locations over the last year and a half and at times they will deny your donation. Usually for logistical purposes, but still annoying none the less. They said yes and they were kind. To me, that made this experience better than most with GDE. Though, they might not always be able to accept larger donations, I think they'd at least be kind and help you find another location that might. It's worth the gamble... read more

It's so convenient to have this donation center nearby. The staff is very helpful and prompt. Parking is limited but you'll be in and out in les than 5 minutes depending how load is. read more

I just brought in over $100 of matching bowls and plates. They said no because the box was wet. I offered to pull everything out and dry it but they said no I needed to leave and bring it back packaged better. I was under the impression they took donations, apparently I was mistaken. read more

As soon as I drove up to the donation side door, an attendant came quickly to my car and transferred all of the items to a couple of carts. He was pleasant and efficient. The whole process took less than 15 minutes to complete! read more

This is the most awesome place to shop! The store has so many clothes to choose from and all in great condition. They also carry some new items for purchase. I picked up a bag full (including two designer blouses) for $15! Next time I'm in Sqc, I will be sure to stop here! read more

Always quick and easy drop offs. The staff are very helpful and always give me a receipt or ask if I'd like one. This location took my donations when 2 other locations claimed they were full. I was later told that employees are not allowed to tell customers that and must accept all drop offs. The good after good - open till 8pm. I will continue to support Goodwill. read more

Never donating to this location again. Employees are beyond ghetto and rude. They actually get irritated when you bring things?!? Today however took the cake, between that horrid women who works there and the fact that soon they won't be doing paper receipts has made me seriously consider donating exclusively to salvation army or really anywhere besides goodwill. This location should be listed as a Goodwill Express. It's a drop-off point only. I love the convenience of it. I'm slowly going through various closets and my garage, so I usually drop off a bag of donations about one a month. Every time I go, I'm met with a smile. The Goodwill attendants usually meet me at the car to see if I need any help bringing stuff in. Love these guys. read more

Bought a new book, didn't see that when I dropped off boxes, I also picked up the book. Tried all day to call this store, no answer. Stopped by after work, asked if they have a phone. Easy & quick drop off. I had a trunk-full of clothing & shoes. One of the guys saw me pulling bags out, then came outside asking if I wanted him to bring out one of the carts to fill up. "new lower prices" evidently means inferior merchandise. the last 3 weeks there has been no good brand names, only items that look like they should have been tossed in the bargain bins with stains, stretched out or shrunk, holes, etc. what happened? this is at all the GW store in our area.. used to exclusively shop at GWs; no longer, it's a waste of time. read more
