I like this store, I like the big selection, the shoes and the purses. I believe they rotate and change out their inventory over time. I didn't do much shopping here as much as I browsed and looked around. I've been meaning to stop by here ever since they replaced the store here previously. Great customer service and selection! First negative experience here, usually there's a nice courteous, professional staff. The employee that I saw on the floor said that the "grandmother Clock" is part of the Mother's Day discount today... So waited for the employee in the back to try to find the weights for the clock, he said he didn't know where they were because it's been there for a couple of months, so he's not even sure they have them. Eventually, they found them I proceeded to the register then I'm told by the manager says no mother's Day discount on this item. (I shared the story about the weights, discount she told me she's the manager and will not assist ). I asked to speak to the assistant manager and then apparently she's ALL the managers. So I'm listening to the outgoing announcements in the store, and they're here to help people and listen that, this lady was quite the opposite. I think her name is Sandy or Sandra, please assist maybe to smile, give salutations, empathy, etc. read more

It's so organized! I love it. You can catch me here for hours. I love shopping for my twins. I usually find dresses for my baby girl for $3- $4 dollars. Be patient and take your time. Employees greet upon entering and I know it's exhausting but they do a great job. read more

This location is my new favorite goodwill in OC! They have their own parking lot, workers are always very friendly and greet you right away, and the store is very clean. The location is pretty big with high ceilings so I never feel cramped or get hit with bad allergies. They have a fitting room and restroom. There are a few items here and there where I'm surprised to see a $20 price tag but in general, most items I've seen are priced the same as the other goodwills and salvation armys in the area. I rarely have to wait to check out and when I do it is usually only one or two people ahead of me. That being said, I also give myself a ton of time when coming here so I've never been in a rush to notice a longer than usual wait. They do have a section here that I feel is much much larger than the other thrift stores I've been to but I will be gatekeeping that section and will let you see for yourself (lol). As of this writing, this is a newly opened Goodwill store. I came specifically to look for used kitchen items I could use for garage and garden projects. For some reason my wife doesn't want me to mix chemicals or paints in her kitchen pots. The store mainly features clothing, but it also has larger sections for kitchen and household items than I expected. The entire store is spacious, clean and well organized. I didn't stay long as I was quickly surprised by the prices. Like other reviewers mention, the non-clothing items seem overpriced compared to other thrift stores. I didn't check out any clothing prices so not sure how those compare. Still, if I am on the search for something secondhand, I would probably check here to see what the options are. read more

We were here last week. I didn't even know existed lol. I was on my way to in-n-out, but had to stop here to check it out. Clean store, spacious, and well lit. Big clothing section, some electronics, and decent size kitchen section. I also saw furniture I believe. We walked out with three shirts for like $15. Not bad. The electronics did seem a bit higher and other stores of this kind. They also do have dressing rooms, but didn't use them. I think it's worth checking out if you have the time and are around this area. read more

Goodwill always seems to have expensive prices. The dresses are usually $15 which is high, to me, for a thrift store. I spent $54 and got four items. I prefer thrift stores where I can really find a deal. This store had yellow as the color of the day but items were only 25% off which I think is how it works at new locations rather than the 50%. The store was very clean and organized. Excited to have another thrift store locally. read more

I like this goodwill!! This might be one of the better one in the areas. Very clean and I was able to find some clothing for reasonable prices. It's on the higher end for thrift stores but there's a lot of hidden gems. I liked the home goods area and the kid toys as well. The kid clothes were okay, a little more geared towards older kids but I found a brand new onesie from old navy. Skip the goodwill in lake forest and come to this one! read more

Large, clean, and organized. However, if you are looking for a bargain, this is not the place. Sweaters and jeans for $15-20?!? At a thrift store?!?? Crack. Got me twisted. I saw a sweater on clearance at Target for $7.50 and saw the same sweater for like $14 at goodwill. If you look hard maybe you'll find a deal? It's a nice new location. It's nice to have a Goodwill close to OC that has a drop off option and shopping at the same time. However I didn't find any great finds. goodwill has become expensive for a donation center. read more

This is a new store-clean and organized but not a ton of merchandise. There's also not enough employees here- I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to open a dressing room! When I checked out I had a reward to use so the ONE checker had to call a manager in order to use a $2 reward....so we waited and waited. I was holding up the line so I just said forget the reward. Why make it so hard, just let the customer choose to use it on the screen. Overall disappointed in this new store. read more

Clean, spacious and well stocked. I was excited about this new location, however the "color of the week" sale is only 25%, not 50% like other Goodwills and Salvation Army stores in OC. Very disappointing. Went to Walmart in the same shopping center instead to pay the same amount, if not less for new stuff. read more

My child chose 1 item, a $3 school bus. Took us about 20 minutes to check out with only one person in front of us who had a price tag issue. The poor cashier called for help three times before some large man drinking a pepsi casually wandered to the front while on his cell phone. He did not even look up or see that there was a line of now 10 people. He rudely just asked "cash or card?" And when I said, "card" he said "ok I can help here". The little 16 year old looking boy at the front was way nicer than the large manager guy. read more

I'm a bit sad about this Goodwill. Because this is a nice area, they jacked up the prices to the point where you can buy the same things new on Amazon for 10% - 15% more. So basically you get less than a 20% discount for buying used. When it first opened there were many good deals. I think lots of people came and they immediately jacked up all the prices. Salvation Army (which is in the same area) has much better prices. This is used stuff that Goodwill gets for free, but they are waaaay overcharging for it. For example, a glass kitchen storage jar is sold for $10, the exact same as Amazon. A flimsy straw hat? $10. A small glass kitchen jar? $5. These are the same prices you find this stuff for on Amazon. It's sad that this got enshitified so quickly. Also I've thrifted my whole life and never been told "we do not negotiate on price". They won't do any discounting, but they're also price maxing. Go to Salvation Army if you're looking for deals. I hope this store goes out of business quickly and we get something better in this location. read more
