He came out and said he didn't open until 1PM. I did see that on the big sign by the street. The sign said 1-7 PM We said we would come back later. We left our event to go back later in the day. We arrived at 5PM. It was closed. We hung around a bit to see if he would open up the shop for us. His car was still there, as it had been in the morning. I wasted 40 minutes, going out of my way, and wasted gas. I think when he saw our out of state plates, he could have opened up at 11, to let us take a look. When we said we would be back later, he could have let us know that he was closing early that day. I think as a business person, if you don't honor the hours posted on your signage, maybe you shouldn't have a business.

We made a credit card payment over the phone to Habitat Restore in Forest Grove for a large 30x60"…read moreWooden Counter-cabinet for $275.00. when I came to pick it up with a 5x8 trailer, The thing weighed 300lb, and the employees loading it refused to use a dolly or take out the shelves inside when I asked. Instead they just shoved it up the ramp of the uhaul trailer, breaking off a corner slider foot. The entire 30" base panel along the bottom would need replaced as the leg screws tore off a pretty big chunk of it. Some of the sheet metal along the base bent and peeled as well, now the whole thing wobbles badly. My girlfriend went in to the store today, and the Manager told her the broken off leg was worth $10, and that she "would've paid more for the cabinet somewhere else." He then just gave her some scraps of wood to fix it ourselves. I'm not impressed with this store, anymore. The workers need to stop being lazy and use proper equipment for loading. We did not intend to pay $275 for a damaged item. It wasn't worth more than $100 in my opinion, and the workers loading definitely didn't treat it like it was worth more than $5, since we already paid for it.

This place is really cool as yes... it is highly vintage oriented merchandise but we noticed more artsy and crafty items that were for sale too that were amazingly cool. So that added a further unique spin to this place. Also there was a plant vendor too that sold lots of different kind of little cactuses in various colored shades which further enhanced this place. I saw things of a vintage nature I liked... which were mainly old action figures... that was a lot of fun to browse through checking out all of those!

My mother had the same China; she ate her soft boiled egg every morning from an egg holder just like the one they had displayed. Memories came flooding back! I had to snap pics to send to my brother, who remembered the dishes but had no idea it was china! For me, that's why I love going to antique stores. It's not only about finding a treasure to purchase, but the memories that are awakened when you happen upon an item you didn't even think about for decades until you see it on a shelf, somehow standing out amongst the hundreds of items surrounding it. - The ornate crystal decanters with silver caps and handles? Yep, my Nana had three of them. - The coffee table where you could display needlework under the glass? My grandmother proudly displayed her talents there. - The champagne fur jacket? My mom had one just like it! - The light blue princess telephone? My first phone with a "teenage" line I shared with my brother. Yes, there was such a thing back in the day. Wish I had kept it! They have a variety of antique home ware items. I really love the China in my parents and grandparents homes and this store had many of their patterns, plus Wedgewood, vintage Ball jars in different colors and silver pieces which looked to be in beautiful condition. They also had some beautiful jewelry made out of old silverware, including a necklace that I bought. The sales woman I talked to was super friendly. This store was a nice surprise finding stood out to me amongst the other antique stores we visited in the area.

Lots of parking in the area including a dedicated lot. Bit of a warning- during summer it can get very hot in here. I think there is AC but the building doesn't appear to be well insulated.
