Very disappointed with my experience. :( They were cutting the "Color of the Week" tags off of items, and I found so many green-tagged items that had been cut off -- I personally found at least 5 tank tops alone. When I brought them up, they wouldn't honor the discount. There were also movies marked/listed as $1 that rang up as $1.99 at checkout. I understand mistakes happen, but removing the sale tags and then refusing to honor the advertised discount was really frustrating. Definitely not the experience I expected. read more

It has been a few years since I have shopped here. It seems overall nothing has changed. They still have a wide variety of clothing for men, which is rare in thrift stores, I find. My daughter no longer lives in a Goodwill group home, but she still works at one of their stores when no one else would hire her, so I still don't hold their slightly higher thrift store prices against them. In fact, I saw a few non-clothing items that I thought were slightly under priced, such as brand new looking baseball gloves for $7. Those things are very expensive new. I escaped this time with just a couple of clothing items as I was just browsing really. read more

A decent Goodwill. Prices were a little steep for thrift, but that's what Goodwill does. The store itself was slightly unorganized with many clothing items in the wrong size sections. The staff were nice though. Unfortunately, despite older reviews, there are no dressing rooms. read more

I enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and this Goodwill is one of my favorite places to search for finds. I don't always find something, but I find something often enough to keep returning. Goodwill stores depend on local donations for some of their stock, so the affluence of Mount Dora and the surrounding area likely contributes to the quality of the items sold. However, I still find it important to remember that Goodwill is a thrift store, selling things others did not want. This store is large compared to other local Goodwill stores and sells the typical Goodwill range of used products. This store devotes the majority of its space to clothes and shoes. The store also sells jewelry, books, wall art, CDs/records, DVDs, dishes, glasses, knick knacks, baskets, toys, and seasonal decor. This store offers very little furniture, if any. In addition to used goods, this Goodwill offers new mattresses. Unlike the previous Eustis location, this Goodwill makes no attempt to sort its book section. The store does not even use broad categories so finding books takes patience and time, and I possess neither in sufficient quantity. The CDs are end caps on the book aisles and similar to the books, lack organization. Additionally, the CDs are not well lit so reading the titles with old eyes is challenging. I make raffle baskets for a local nonprofit and can always count on this store to have a wide selection of cheap baskets. This store does not host a Goodwill job connection. read more

Meh don't believe all these negative reviews. Certainly goodwill can't please everyone but it's a thrift store. The items change frequently and prices vary from day to day. AND this is the second largest goodwill in central Florida so I'm not exactly sure where that small comment came from. Plus, this is a thrift store. Why on earth would expect to find high dollar quality items in a "thrift" store. The name alone should signify the quality of the items. If you're looking for antiques, then I suggest you might want to shop at an antique store. There's a zillion of them around here that will gladly take your money too. Though lots of them just buy their stuff at goodwill and mark it up for a huge profit. read more

The prices in this store have gone up and up to the point you can often get better deals buying new items in a retail store. They no longer let you try on clothes and the return policy has changed so you cannot get a refund but only store credit and the time limit is quite short. At least they stopped asking you to round up your purchase. This place is ripping people off. I no longer shop here because of the high prices and change in policies. read more

Love me some good will stores, but this one was surprisingly lacking. Usually we go to find pieces to put together for costumes or books I can use to craft. This one is small, cluttered, and doesn't have much that's not just junky. There are a ton of antique malls in the area, which I think lends itself to only having people donate things that they feel they can't sell. This means it ends up really just being junk that ought to have been thrown out. I couldn't even find a useful book to use for crafting since the pages were too damaged or discolored. The staff is the usual and doesn't really exist outside restocking or running the register. Not that you'll need help finding anything here. Overall: C- Nothing here to waste time looking through. read more

Great goodwill! I always find some of my favorite items! Bonus is that this location is pet friendly! You can load up your best friend in a cart and take them shopping with you! Yesterday a woman had two dogs in her cart. I mean who doesn't want to shop with their best friend?? read more

I've shopped and donated here many times. Today we brought a nice office credenza. Granted it needed new paint but it was solid and a nice piece. They refused to take it! What??? It's a heavy (mostly oak) piece. I suspect the man just didn't want to deal with the weight of helping unload it from the small trailer we used to bring it. I'll attach picture of item. I shop this store at least once a week or more. Every single employee in this store is rude & always in a bad mood! I notice the prices going up on items every time I visit and I am about to call it "quits" with Goodwill. They should be ashamed! Charging nearly full price for used items!!!!!! I stopped here while traveling. There was an item that was a used item priced $5.00 under a new one and over $40.00 for the same item used online. A manager was called and she told me "I can't match that price online or even come close to it. There are cameras in here and the only thing I can do is price it (She wanted to price it $20 more than what the same item was selling for online , used, with more items included....) $30 less than a new item. I chose not to purchase the item.. Well once I got ready to check out, she then wanted to give me the price online... At that point, I did not even want the item. I have been to good wills all over the US and by far , This one has used merchandise either: OVER the price of a brand new item or OVER the price of a used item... If you have a smart phone, I suggest you cross-reference items before buying them... read more

I gave it a one-star because all of the Goodwills are very expensive they ask for prices that you would get in a store to buy brand new things which I find ridiculous personally it's also very dusty and cluttered with just playing junk motions or products that have been opened I don't enjoy the Goodwill stores anymore and I speak I'm not just this good will but on behalf of all of them read more
