nice, clean, well organized store (with changing rooms) !! definitely agree with other reviewers that it unfortunately follows goodwill's generally increasingly expensive pricing. you can still find some gems, especially in their books and home goods (like, randomly 4 bulbs for $0.99). generally the store is well monitored and staff are nice, and they seem to have remodeled since earlier reviews.

Very neat and well organized thrift store with a dressing room too. Lots of of very high-end name brand stuff, lightly worn, most likely by the people who live in the area. Parking isn't easy however, it's worth a stop in and even if there's a line to check out, and line for the dressing room. consider trying on your things while you're waiting in line.

We were in the area and decided to stop by. We parked on the street a block away. This store has a lot of people it is extremely busy. They did have a lot of good things. Prices were pretty reasonable. People who worked there kept bringing things out. The kids clothes was pretty good. I would recommend not bringing kids here. The place is small with a lot of people. There was some name brand clothes. Overall good store but very busy.

I normally don't review thrift stores especially chain thrift stores because they all look and operate the same...so I thought. I stopped by here because I was in the area. What a mess! They had more inventory on the floor than hanging up. They seemed to have adequate staffing. They were more concerned about placing new inventory out instead of picking up current inventory. The upsides: The restroom was very clean. The vinyl record section was organized unlike their other stores. Hopefully they get it together by the next time I visit.

Giving 4 stars for how management handled a less than desirable situation. Way to go!!! I am from Indy and come to Chicago for good eats and thrifting. I've visited this goodwill several times - and always find very unique items at great prices. Pictures included. At checkout we encountered a lady by the name of Sylvia who was very difficult and unpleasant. I concluded my purchase then asked for management.. Dustin came out introduced himself and listened to us thoroughly which I really appreciated. He apologized, said he'd take action and encouraged us to return. I'm happy that instead of giving low stars for that one experience that I'm able to leave feeling like a valued customer. We'll be back!

$100-150 sweaters for this brand. It's one of those that you don't even see in malls (it might be European)

I watched multiple workers save things for themselves in the cashier station. I now understand why there's nothing good in the store.

Best Goodwill in the city, hands down. Lots of great stuff coming in, so inventory turns over quickly!

I was also looking at a pretty nice black dress coat from banana republic that was going for $12.

Also, I would like to thank all of the people that have come out to support businesses in this area that were hit hard by the current political climate in Washington D.C. At the height of violence in our streets I tried to do my best by supporting some of these businesses. During this phase 18th street looked like a ghost town on a Saturday. Normally on a Saturday in this neighborhood has people teeming everywhere and the smell of an asado in the air (Yum). Having time off and having an asado is the perfect way to relax and spend time with your family. Plus, who doesn't like the smell of an asado? Well during this time period I found this shop that I thought had some really cool and unique stuff. Also, you may notice that they have a fair amount of stuff with the famous Hulu's The Bear line, "Yes Chef, No Chef" on it. If you are a fan of the show like I am, then, the interior will look familiar to you because it was in a seen on the show (I think it was season 3). I immediately recognized the store and thought to myself "cool" and great choice. Anyhow, if you find yourself in the area, pop in and check it out. They are very selective as to which artists around the country they want to buy from and in turn sell their products. Maybe you will find that one unique thing that you have been looking for that you didn't realize you need. I mean, you never know unless you check it out. My fellow Chicagoans, please go out and support your local small shops!

My mom and I could've spent the whole day there, the staff was welcoming and the store offered the most cutest items that were reasonably priced.
