I loved this location when I lived in Naperville, although my visits could be described as somewhat infrequent. I've recently been on a Goodwill kick after turning up a couple of really good finds in recent months around the western burbs. I frequent the St Charles Main location and have also now shopped Elmhurst, Aurora and Bartlett. Upon returning yesterday to Naperville after frequenting other locations, I was struck by the difference in pricing! Whereas all of the stores I mentioned above price a majority of their non-name brand clothes at $3.99 a piece, I don't think I saw anything at Naperville under $5.99 -- even the "throw away" brands like Forever 21, Apt 9 by Target, etc. The dressing room offering at this location is likely the worst of the bunch, too. With the utilization of only 3 during COVID, there was a constant line. All in all, Goodwill in general is a fun, cheap way to satiate the shopping bug if you have some time and patience. A recent visit to StCh turned up a high end designer bag for $4.99....that's the stuff GW dreams are made of!

I have found many treasures in this store. You have to be patient, you might have to look harder, it will be worth it! The staff is awesome!

Great place for some shopping therapy after breaking up with your boyfriend. Lots to see and it doesn't break the bank.

Totally helpful - we brought a conversion van full of stuff to donate and the guy insisted on unloading. You can't go wrong at a Goodwill!

Always messy things thrown everywhere and too cluttered in such a small space. I'd rather drive to oswego's or Batavia's much nicer there.

This store is always filled with good finds, especially if you're able to find a "color special"…read moreitem. They rotate colors and whichever color is on special is a percentage off. For example, "White tags are 25% off today." I've always seen 25% off, but I don't know for sure if they change the percentage. The selling process is typical frustrating. Having worked in a resale bookstore I understand the used buying process and always assume I'll receive little to no money for my items. Today, I sold 7 items: wall decor film slate, two paintings (unknown artist), two Chinese hanging lanterns (new with tag), one Harley Davidson metal plate wall decor, one large table cloth (new with tag). I received $5.50. There is a Good Will 5 minutes away on Aurora Ave and Foothill Drive. The items New Uses does not purchase I drop off for donation right around the corner, which is convenient. Overall, it's a good resale shop where hidden treasures can be found. It is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. My recommendation for management is to advertise tags in advance. Today, I saw many green tagged items I liked. If I knew when green tags would be on sale/special, I would come back the day of the green tag discount.

The people complaining about too much stuff are nuts. That's what you want! Some aisles are…read morenarrow, but most just fine. Get over it. There's a large selection of books, most 3.00 and under, mass market paperbacks 50 cents, and periodically there are good old ones from the 50s or 60s. Some items are cheap. Some are costly. They also sell the very high priced stuff online, but there's still plenty of great stuff in the store itself. The bathrooms are old but super clean and not creepy like in some places. There are real antiques, beautiful furniture, art works, plastic storage tubs, all kinds of glassware, figurines, etc. Don't listen to the complainers. I go whenever I can and almost always find something I want.

While…read moreit's certainly packed with an incredible array of items, that density actually makes for a frustrating shopping experience. The aisles are so crammed that it's impossible to navigate with a shopping cart, which really limits your ability to browse and buy. It's a shame because there were genuinely interesting items, from high-priced antiques to thrift-store finds, but the difficulty in moving around made it hard to truly appreciate them. After driving over an hour and 15 minutes to get there, leaving empty-handed was quite a letdown. While I appreciate that they at least had a bathroom, which allowed me to stay as long as I did, the overall hassle overshadowed any enjoyment. I'm not sure if I'll make the trek again for a second chance. I had high hopes, but ultimately, this place just didn't live up to them. Still worth a try. I did find that the employees just sat around on their phones so I couldn't get a feel of who they are. One actually scolded me for trying to pick up and item
