Service and Staff are excellent! But in store inventory and prices - not. Corporate Goodwill has lost their mines on prices- most can be cheaper new. Even the recyclable bags doubled in price. And regarding donations, so many items, electrical items, even tested in store, did not work! People, just throw out your trash instead of dumping it off at thrift stores for a tax write off selfishly wasting other people's time and money. This store always has great product! I often go once a week or every other week and almost always find a treasure or two! The few workers I've interacted with have always been very kind and helpful, too. Goodwill prices as a whole have gotten a little outrageous, but I don't feel this one is worse than any other. Just keep an eye out for the 50% off discount color of the week ;) read more

WOW! I've never really shopped at Goodwill before in my life and what an experience this was! I actually found a suit with the tags still on as well as several other beautiful items for the professional job. Staff was helpful and friendly, items were nicely displayed and orderly. Goodwill is a bargain hunters paradise, no matter what location you like to shop at. This particular day we were coming home from Milwaukee and stopped in at the Goodwill located at 3540 S Moorland Rd in New Berlin WI. This visit turned out to be a great day. We actually stopped in just to look for some summer clothes, and to our surprise we found a Thomas Kinkade limited edition canvas, framed, numbered and with all the authenticity papers. We paid $99 for it. We already have other Kinkade paintings so I had no reservations about paying what they were asking for it. When we got home it didn't take a lot of research to find out the value of this particular painting was between $750 and $850 dollars. Another item I found lying on its side was a limited edition beer stein put out by Anheiser Busch that I paid $6.99. The same stein sold on Ebay for $140 without the box. Both of these items will be added to my collection. What I'm trying to say is, you heard these kind of stories. They are true. Just go into the Goodwill stores with an open mind and take your time. Move things around. What may look like junk just scattered all over the place may turn into a treasure overlooked by literary hundreds of other people. Now these kinds of finds won't happen everyday. Give it time and be patient. You never know what will be in the next isle. read more

Clean store but rather small compared to other Goodwill's. Had good selection on the today that I visited. Nothing really stood out for me to come back on a regular basis in the near future. Updated 03/24/18 Really dirty might I say. But that's what you expect from Goodwill. I would never buy used swim attire even if I cleaned it several times. read more

This good will always seems to be a little less organized and I think it's just because of the layout. It was pretty busy when we went Co pared to the other locations we had just visited. Why are the prices more expensive? 6$ for used shoes? 7$ for previously worn jeans? Anyways, easy to find color coordinated and size located clothing. :) Smaller good will though. The store on Moreland has gone downhill significantly, to the point that it's no longer worth the trip. A great majority of the items for sale are absolute garbage, and if you are lucky enough to find something decent it is priced higher than eBay. What is happening with the better items? Why aren't they made available for sale anymore? Are employees being allowed to buy it all before the public has a chance? If all you need is a used 3-ring binder or Kohl's/Target/Walmart brand merchandise at near retail prices, then this is the place for you...otherwise save your time and frustration by just buying on eBay or going to a different Goodwill store. The people working here are friendly. The lines are never long because they're able to keep the line moving without making the customer feel rushed. Furniture at this location is usually not in the greatest condition and there's usually not much of it. There's plenty of books and clothes at this location. This store seems to be a newer store because it's a lot newer looking than the other locations I have been too. read more

I'm here to leave a detailed review on this company for two reasons. First, I want to point out that the workers there are amazing, are extremely friendly, and hardworking. Secondly, I have had the worst experiences at Goodwill than I have at any other company. On the outside the store looks great, it's very welcoming and seems like a decent place to find low priced hand-me-downs, a good place for crafters to find the little things, and for people who just need that 'one' thing. The store itself is extremely dirty, the floors are swept twice daily, even though the floors are swept twice, I came across cigarettes, pills, and large clumps of dust and hair on the floor. To walk into the store and see clearly that no one cleaned up properly, amazes me. Clothes fall into these dust piles and are left there until someone complains. The bathrooms are disgusting, the rakes of clothes are always full, clothes are dropping into dust, hardlines are falling off shelves and cleanliness is almost non existent. The workers are forced to work twice as hard to keep the store looking good, but are told they can't dispose of anything. Not being allowed to salvage clothes and other hardlines makes the floor look more filled, dirty, and there is almost always a spill or break. The workers clean the hardline shelves every night, but once the morning comes all additional hardlines are thrown on the shelves, making the shelves more filled and crowded. Getting into the most important topic, the managers. I've come across multiple managers ranging in importance and kindness. Most managers expect their employees to take care of everything. They sit in the office doing their book 'work', but most employees noticed them doing their makeup instead. They show no effort on the floor, don't help much with customers and are just pure lazy. All they like are the numbers, the product that goes on the floor, and money. It's disgusting. Not only does this store need help fixing itself corporate needs a life check too. Poor Selection of Housewares and Hard lines. Too many racks of clothing everywhere. Everything is overpriced for a Business that received the majority of the merchandise by Donation. WAY too much of Target's Cast off Salvage. If I can but this Throw Pillow at Target on Clearance for $ 3.48 why would I pay $14.99 @ Goodwill? Marking that damaged stuff 1/2 of the retail is not fooling anyone Goodwill. Employees truly are there to earn their low wage paycheck, shuffling the merchandise around like it is worthless. Most appear Unkempt like they rolled off their futon in Mom's basement and decided to go to work. read more

Overall great store. Its one of goodwill of SEW smaller locations but gives customers a great variety. I visited this location earlier today looking for vintage salt and pepper shakers and got sidetracked by all of the great clothes and target merchandise. Staff seemed okay.. they seemed to be more into their work and less focused of helping customers.. I checked out with the nicest young man. Taller . Dark brown hair. was one of the most friendliest employees I have seen at a goodwill before.. definitely will be returning due to the amazing check out experience and selection. read more
