Great store definitely have to dig to find stuff but I'd you like doing that then this is the store for you. It's a very clean store but it has a lot of product. Goodwill is always a great time, you never know what you're going to find! I have a method that I always stick to when I go. I often buy work clothes (sometimes even find clothes with the tags still on!) because I like color and variety and that stuff can get expensive otherwise! I first scope out outfits on Pinterest and have a few in mind when I go. Then I grab a cart and go down the aisles of clothes, based on the styles I'm looking for and in my size, then pile my cart full! I ALWAYS try the clothes on because looks can be deceiving unless you see it on yourself. I'll even go in the men's section for shirts if I'm going for a layered look and don't see what I want in the women's section. Dishes, mugs, and glasses are super good buys too! read more

This store is HUGE!!! I don't know if it's just new or very well-maintained! Employees are friendly, prices and merchandise are good, washrooms are impeccable! I didn't buy much but I would come back again! A+ to you, Goodwill! read more

Goodwill is (one of) my most scandalous addictions. I get so much good stuff here its crazy. (Hint: if youre embarrassed to say where you got something from here just blurt out "GW". People will think its like "BCBG". Say it fast and no one will catch on. Just work with me on this one.) These days, the rest of the city seems to like "GW" as much as me. Back in the day when there was like one location, I used to haul it out to 91st and silver spring where I got more trumpet skirts, Chinese laundry pumps and leather and fur jackets than I can ever tell you about. But after a song reaches #1 about it and I leave the palmer street location empty handed around Halloween because its so overrun with people....well, things have changed. This location is really nice too. There's almost too much stuff here. I like to go in with a rough list of a few "I have to find" items and then keep an open mind. Some items that are good here: --Holiday stuff -- everyone's xmas/Easter/st pats day stuff is here. And generally in good condition. --vases, vases, vases. Many in every shape size and color. --target appears to donate all its unsellable new stuff here. That weird Misu whatever his name is jacket that seemed overpriced? Wait a few months and come here. You'll find it for slightly less. --designer handbags. They lock the nicer ones up and charge more than ud expect ($10 and up) but when you consider what kohls charges for some ugly no-name bag its a good deal. --also, never ever buy a jean skirt at a regular store. Cuz I can guarantee you'll donate it here eventually. How do I know? Cuz EVERY JEAN SKIRT in Milwaukee seems to be here. Everyone apparently goes through a cowgirl phase and outgrows it quickly. --on any given day, I can always find a couple dresses here I'd wear --not like this is unique to goodwill but if you're a size 5 or below you'll do well here. read more

I will not be back here. I had a few questions about the store and my experience so I asked the cashier to get the manager. Mitchell who is the store manager avoided coming to talk to me. He assumed I was going to ask about a price on a item. He was very rude and disrespectful avoided me went into his back office. I waited 10 minutes for him to return and when he returned he continued to ignore the fact that I was waiting for his assistance. I've never had such a horrible experience in this store. I'm curious as to what his reasoning was for not wanting to help me or figure out what the problem was. read more

The people working here are very friendly. Every time I am in here, I am greeted by at least 3 people. The employees at this location seem to actually enjoy their jobs. The store is always pretty clean. This location isn't the best for finding furniture but if you're looking for clothes they've got plenty in stock. read more

I kind of love this Goodwill. Maybe I shouldn't reveal my secrets, but I've never gotten so many designer pieces from any store, consignment, thrift, or otherwise. Dooney and Cole Haan purses, a pair of Ferragamos, and my crown jewel; a matched Hermes bracelet and necklace. I paid $20 for the packaged lot of jewelry it came in. Seriously. Plus the staff is very nice and the store is clean and usually well organized. Just avoid it on Sundays and Mondays. Even though they have half off a certain color ticket on those days, it's a ZOO and it's always picked over. I'm not faulting the store for that in any way though, since they don't really have much control over their traffic. read more

Gigantic. Hughnormous. It's a newer store, and has a good selection for both men and women, but the ladies section is bigger just like in most Goodwills. It was very clean and didn't have 'the smell'. It's kinda out in the boonies for those that live downtown, but if you're in the hood it's a good stop to find all your second hand goods. read more

That store used to be real good several things I do not like stuff animals from $0.49 to $3 are you kidding me and then when you check out the sales clerk ask you if you would like to make it an even price if your bill is 3.50 they want you to round it Off 2 $4 to help the Goodwill?? I was there the other day and some people think that the store is a ghetto mother sitting down under rear ends watching there kids playing with toys in the middle of the aisle and management doesn't say nothing managers should be out there to tell the mothers or the father's take care of your children and do not play with the toys in the aisle customers can't get through that's a No-No. WTH. I love Goodwill in general but this particular one is better than most others I've been to. They have a bigger and better selection of books and dvd's here than any other one I've been to. I have also found many great home decorations here as well. The staff is also surprisingly friendly and the prices can't be beat! read more

Finally! An organized, well-lit store. And I do agree with some of the other reviewers as being better than the 91st Street Store. Everything is spaced out allowing enough space to browse without bumping into anyone. From electronics to obscure vinyls to figurines, and clothes, it does have almost everything for everyone to shop for. And yes, the clothes often come from the Target which is conveniently located just north of this Goodwill. I did find a LCD monitor of 7 dollars which was exactly what I was looking for. And I've visited a handful of locations between Wisconsin and Illinois looking for a monitor! read more
