Just went to the Goodwill in San Antonio or he first time. The store is really big with a huge floor plan for all dorts of goodies. Theres shoes, clothes house wear ad all sorts I goodies to choose from. The store is pretty full with people looking for the best bargains. Everything is tagged and everything with the orange tag was half off. I was shopping for my nephew some shorts and found six really nice pair along with a few things got my self. All that for 30.00. Wow did i do good or what. This was definitely a Great experience . the cashier Shavoni I think her name was very friendly and courteous. Thanks for a positive shopping experience

Went in over the weekend to get some old clothes to work in. Got what I needed, but the staff I found were very rude.

If you are looking to spay your cat or dog, definitely give Spay Neuter Network a call!…read more My family and I had been wanting to spay our dog for some time, but the cost of it was something that was definitely keep us from actually doing it. Our veterinarian had originally quote us almost $1,000 just for the spay, which seemed a little over the top for such a common procedure. I went online and found Spay Neuter Network which is a nonprofit that provides affordable spay/neuter services for dogs and cats. Making the appointment online was super easy and I originally only had to pay $20 to secure my dog's appointment. On the day of the appointment my husband dropped him off at 7am and by 3:00pm he was ready to go home. At the end, we did end up paying about $100 more for some additional vaccinations that our dog needed prior to the procedure. It's been a week since the surgery and my dog is feeling great and we haven't had any issues. I am so happy to have found Spay Neuter Network and will definitely recommend to all my friends and family!

Next time i know not to come here. if im paying over 100 dollars i rather go to a nice clinic not this one . front desk is rude as well and dont even try and call because they will leave u on hold for hrs .

What a stirring experience to walk through this historic site! I initially figured we'd be here for…read morea short visit but, between the church, the grounds, and the museum, we spent three hours here. You must get a free ticket to go inside the church (it prevents overcrowding), which is the structure you associate with the Alamo. We got ours off the Alamo website ahead of time. You can pay for a tour or audio devices or just walk around on your own for free. We did the latter and found that whenever we had questions there were plenty of docents who could happily provide detailed answers. There is also, for a fee, a museum on site with many artifacts from that time period. Many items were donated by avid Alamo collectors including musician Phil Collins and David Zucker (director of Airplane! and Naked Gun). A new museum is being constructed as of the date of this review. A gift shop is on site too as well as many statues throughout the grounds honoring those involved in the battle. This is a "must visit" for anyone who comes to San Antonio, even more so if you love history.

Had a chance to walk around the old church mission and see all of the new things they are doing to make the Alamo and the area improve so it will be around for many years to come to preserve our young history of this country. It was odd to hear that Americans were call "Immigrants" when they were coming into the Mexican republic. Many a hero died that day at the Alamo, 200 AMERICANS gave their life for the Republic of Texas in it infancy. Gift store had plenty of options to pick from and the staff was very helpful throughout out our visit.

I would say come in take a look and walk out with something for your home or next project. You will also be help out such a cool nonprofit. Did you know Habitat sells homes too? This place is hard to rate. They have a couple of outlets - one on S Probandt, and one on Walzam…read moreRd. Probandt is an old warehouse and the goods are presented in a commensurate fashion, making it kind of a dump to go to. BUT it is very large and they have a lot of items. The Walzam Rd location is smaller, more store-like and a lot cleaner. Selection is similar but my impression is of smaller quantities and more limited selection. They both carry a wide range of construction and household materials, whether reclaimed from remodels or demolitions, or closeouts, seconds and scratch-and-dent. They also have a lot of paints, much of which is "evolve", a brand that keeps excess project or returned paint from being senselessly dumped in landfills. Prices are better than the building materials stores, but you still need to know what a good price is, as some of the smaller household goods can be found for less elsewhere (mainly online). But bargains are to be found if you don't mind spending time browsing. I suggest coming prepared with a complete list of what you might need, so you come away with what you really want at a price that suits you. All of that said, remember that this is a thrift store for Habitat for Humanity, a very good organization that makes affordable housing available for low income people. So anything you buy supports a great cause. I would have rated this 3-stars, but the nature of what their main focus is caused me to make it 4-stars since the dollars you spend here contributes to helping people in need.
