Mandy is Terribly sarcastic, and I experiences awful service given by this alleged general manager, while she's rushing me I'm telling her why I'm taking my Time. She says she doesn't understand anything , who is saying she's illiterate and dum like I never said that? I'm buying something for $4 and she's saying "because $4 is so hard to find" like she's making fun of me to my face. She is speaking loud enough for everyone to hear us, but when I look at her face, which is two inches away from mine, her wild eyes are darting around and looking everywhere but at me. She is asking me "so are you gonna buy it" five times in a row like she's about to kick me out the store . She is Flinging her arms and hands around in my face . I thought she might strike me how close she was to me with her motions , rushing me to get away from the counter. Extremely unprofessional and unhinged , stomping off towards the back , and then returning to the front desk to open the closed lane since I'm standing there at the counter looking at an item to purchase, I'm not allowed to be taking my time. Ok so she opens up the other register just to move me out of the way. Flinging the next customers dress on top of the counter and in my face . Ok , seems like a MH breakdown happening in real time while she hyperfixates on me and whether or not I'll make a purchase or not, aren't they open til 8? Why she's trying to run me off like that. She smiling in my face saying to me "I'm Mandy, and Wendy's my boss" and calls her boss right in front of me. Like she's so childish like she got caught being bad and has to go run and tell mom first. What a joke read more

I've been to this location a few times and it's always clean and orderly. It's better than the Slidell location so driving to this one might be worth it for you. They have seasonal decor or clothes that fit your taste. All in all a good, clean store. read more

Goodwill Customers... Please be aware that employees are NOT allowed to shop at the stores in which they work. The staff is encouraged to be helpful, happy and welcoming to the customers. Much of the mess is caused by customers themselves. The customers have no respect for the store, the other shoppers or the items for sale. The staff does as much as possible to keep the store in order. But it is a difficult job. Please be respectful of the staff and their hard work. If you've never worked in retail or thrift shop employment, you should not judge. It is a very hard job with little pay and no thanks. read more

*Copy of Google Review* Today, 3/16/24 at roughly 2:30pm an elderly white woman working the cash register decided to run an assumption and guilt me in front of several other customers for not rounding up my purchase for a donation. "Seriously? It's not even a dollar." "If you say so... must really matter to you." Is that how a genuinely trustworthy charity organization gets a donation??? Remember for your own legal sake that YOU as a COMPANY are VICARIOUSLY LIABLE for the behavior of your employees/managers. I am in five figures of medical debt and even more in student loan debt. I still fight everyday to give back to causes I believe in and the fortitude of my community. I buy my work attire from goodwill because I currently can't afford to shop at Joseph A Bank and expect to make my bills. With that said, I have no problem bringing another case to my boss' desk. I made a drop off at the Donation Station but employee #1 was busy walking to the smoking section outside instead of taking my donation. Employee #2 (both females) was busy inside on the phone. The sign reads contactless drop off and take a receipt. No receipts were available so I had to get employee #2 attention and request a receipt. I'll go to Salvation Army next time. read more

Goodwill is an interesting place. Prior to last weekend's trip, I had only visited Goodwill as a donation center. I had heard many of my friend's and family rave about the good deals they had found at thrift stores. I always like getting a deal, so I decided to check this location out. The store was fairly large and separated into different areas. The clothes were divided by type, but not size. To find a deal you have to go through each item individually. I don't have the patience for that, but it did seem like they had a fairly good selection of L and XL shirts. If you are a giant, you are probably out of luck. Shirts and pants were only $1.99 so if you could find something, it would be worth it. In the rear of the store were furniture and household items. There was even a wine refrigerator for $49.99. It had a broken therostat (whatever that is), but otherwise looked in working order. I was able to find some kid clothes for ridiculously low prices. Many of the pieces even looked brand new. I bought four pieces for a total of around $8. In summary, you can find a good deal at Goodwill if you're willing to put the effort in. read more

It's definitely an interesting place! You'll either find stuff you really like, or nothing at all. I reccomend going at least twice before you give up on it. I find a lot of name brand items that are inexpensive. For example, a really cute black bodysuit for around 7 dollars, that was almost 20 dollars at forever 21! read more

Everything is overpriced and as someone stated previously they forget that the items are donated. I wanted to love this place but during check out I actually felt cheated. the sweetest cashier but it surprises me how the manager is running a store with such a rude attitude towards customers. Feeling the need to unlock our door because we had too many items is unbelievable. She claimed two people were not allowed to be in a dressing room at the same time BUT that was not mentioned on any of their signs (we read them all). This place smells like your grandmas house. Old and smelly. Everything is overpriced for things they do have. Literally most of the things they decide to put on the floor to sale you can buy cheaper at Walmart and get it brand new. Eg. Glasses, plates, dishes, cookware, DVDs, games, pretty much anything. Most of the good stuff that gets brought in the staff opts to keep and/or purchase for themselves. Nothing good here people, move along. Honestly the only thing this store is good for is if you are a picker and happen to find an unknown treasure. I'm sad this stuff is donated and then resold - opposed to going to those in need. This store is extremely overpriced for its household items. I think they are forgetting that the items are donated to them. However, I think they are very reasonable on clothes, but I think that is because Goodwill has a standard price set for these. The manager seems a little high strung. read more
