I don't like coming here but decided to anyway due to looking for some shoes and a bag for a costume. The shoe selection is limited and not good quality whatsoever! Store always appears on the dirty side and parking is, well don't even get me started. Staff was nice. I'd rather pay full price than come here again. read more

I'm not a Thrifter, but I stopped at this location just to browse as it was my first time. I was fascinated to know that they had a lot of Halloween costumes for both kids and adults. Overall the isles were pretty organized. It seems the items needed a little TLC but they were quality products. Everything was organized by sections and easy to find, even though there was a lot to look at. I didn't get anything this time, but I will be back soon. read more

Its been a few years since i stopped in and BOY has it changed! The store is more orderly than before and not as many shoppers, too. I was disappointed that their prices are HIGHER than other thrift stores I stopped at earlier in the day. I found a dress that fit like a glove! Flipping the tag, it cost $59.99! :-O I thought to myself, "Maybe they have certain days of the week, like 50% on Wednesdays or Manager Special Day". So, as I was leaving i asked the cashier if they had Discount Days. She informed me no. That's probably the last time I'll shop their store as I'll be saving money on Discount Days at other thrift stores, and, no, I don't recommend it. You can thank me later. read more

So after our wonderful Ruth's Chris dinner, where did my sister and I decide to go on a Friday evening??? GOODWILL! Not the best Goodwill but not the worse either. I guess the biggest downfall is that it was kind of messy and in disarray. I also thought the prices in this location were higher than I was used to. For instance, most tank tops were $4.95 and some dresses around $6. So to me, a flimsy Target brand tank top for $5 is high when a big name dress is $6... (Side note: we don't usually go to fancy steak houses like Ruth's Chris so for us. $5 for a Goodwill tank is high). Size-wise, this location is fairly big. There were probably 6 women's changing rooms and 2 men's. (In comparison, I've been to a goodwill that had ONE changing room). I did find a few items: 2 short sleeve (churchy) blouses, a dress and a bralette (Arie with the tags still on!) ..all for around $20. When this Goodwill Store first opened, I liked coming here. It was clean, well-stocked, and organized. The past few times, though, it's been more hassle than it was worth. Plus, the store has not aged well, and has an overall dirty feel to it. First, be aware: parking is horrendous. I wouldn't even attempt to come on a Saturday. Although I got close parking this time (on a Friday morning) normally I have to park in the hinterlands and then trek to the front door. I don't usually check out the clothes, although it looks like they have plenty of full racks; I'm there for the home goods, which I can use for arts and crafts. At one time there was some semblance of order, but no longer. Dishes are mixed in with frames are mixed in with toys. The other area that I like to frequent in the store, the jewelry section, has also gotten harder to access. This last time no one came by to help me, so I finally went to a cashier, who said she would send someone; then the person she sent spoke zero English which made for communication by pointing. Decent sized but smaller than the one in Oldsmar. If you're looking for furniture (which I was), skip it. There is barely any selection. If you're looking for clothes try it out. Also some cheap new, unused stuff for home and garden. The register area is a MESS! I counted 10 people in line including myself, all with carts packed full of stuff. One register open the whole time. As I write this, I've been in line over 15 minutes and still stuck in the back. What else is there to do. *Update* It took over a half hour to check out with one item, due to the long line, multiple price checks and coupon problems that required a supervisor, and sales associate disappearing for minutes at a time. read more

This location is always Packed, be prepared to spend time searching for parking if any becomes available. Most of the time you can look for good finds here. Quite often I've also seen designer labels sprinkled throughout the clothing and shoe section. The only help you will find in the store is when you check out, otherwise you're on your own. Interesting concept, you drive into the back of this Goodwill, and they will roll a cart to your car. They even have volunteers to help unload your donations into the cart. The volunteer who helped us, saw my Longhorns T-shirt and said to me, "Colt McCoy". I wasn't sure what he meant at first. He then named a few other of our past UT football players. So we chat for a few minutes on the UT Longhorns team. He was very polite and helpful. He even opened and held the car door open for me to get back in. read more

Don't donate here ! This store has brand new stuff still in boxes and large quantities of them. Take for example their candles ; they are 8 dollars for a large one. Just like Walmart! Goodwill is suppose to be cheaper and second hand goods. Wow has Goodwill changed! I haven't been in one in years, but thought I might get a jump on a Halloween idea. This location is fairly small and has little to no furniture. The prices I believe are way too high, in my opinion, what happened to the good old days, where things were inexpensivr. This location has tight parking and usually has a good crowd of people in there. I was surprised to see they carry some new shoes and a few other new items on a regular basis. I don't have any burning desire to return to this location, UT it is convenient. Now west on Tampa Road in Oldsmar, there is a huge Goodwill, I am going to defiantly visit. What's a girl to do? DECEPTIVE PRICING!!! My mother has Alzheimer and is losing a lot of weight. My granddaughter is getting married, so I took Mom to buy some new clothes for the wedding from the career shop. I found two really nice dresses that were each 2 piece dresses. Both would were hung on one hanger with a price tag for less than $5 each. When I went to check out they pulled the 2 pieces apart and said they are sold separately and each piece was the price that I though the one was each 2 piece dress only had one tag. I argued that neither dress would be appropriate is sold separately. They were both nice and if they had chosen to put them on the rack at double the price I would have still bought them, but they were deliberately deceiving the buyer at the cashiers desk. I cry foul and am letting people know BUYER BEWARE. I will not go there again. read more

I prefer consignment to thrift shopping when it comes to used but this thrift store is pretty good. It doesn't smell awful like most of them, LOL! I had to write this short review though, because last Sunday I found the deal of a lifetime! Dramatic, yes, but if you love shoes you'll understand. My size, black suede booties, pristine maybe worn once, Christian Louboutins! $30!!!! These sell for $1000, and even fakes are a couple hundred. One of the larger, busier Thrift Stores. A wide array of goods, including clothing, accessories, furniture, electronics, household goods, bedding and appliances. Prices may be a bit higher than most thrifts, but quality is a bit better and some items are sold new. Well staffed with those being tranined to work and/or under government contract. read more

The clothes were not organized very well.The sizes were not separated, very especially in the children's department and there was not any color separation. Was excited to see what secrets this Goodwill would provide but sadly there was nothing but disappointment. Many of their clothes seemed to have been damaged or badly stained. Every snack and drink machine was out of order but full which seemed slightly odd. They have no one on the floor to assist, only cashiers. This location has a really great selection of stuff. If you are having trouble finding an item at other thrift stores, chances are this place will have it. It is always extremely crowded, however. I have attempted to come here and have had to leave because of the lack of parking for the amount of people there. I would suggest going during a non peak time. read more

To me, this is not a traditional Goodwill. I wanted used seasonal items and toys and could bearely find anything. I lucked into a couple of puzzles so not total loss. The clothes seemed to be priced per item depending on who knows what and not on a set price per type of garment. Pretty clean though. Don't think I would come back. read more

I'm very disappointed in this Goodwill. The clothes were way over priced for thrift store value, and had multiple stains on them. I found several items like that and/or missing buttons, and I asked the manager if she would consider a reasonable discount. She was very rude, and said she would rather take the loss as a write off than make the sale, and I'm paying for the name. I'm sorry, but the name was not worth the price they were selling it for. I can go get brand new ones for that price. Poor customer service and business ethics. It's sad that I saw multiple empty hangers in the dressing rooms, which means a lot of thievery going on here. This "thrift store" gives a poor name to charity. Used shoes for $30+, stained jeans marked at $40 (sorry, guys, that sort of pricing for used Lucky Brand crusted with someone else's dinner is just absurd). "Boutique" tags secured to nearly half of the clothing, leaving holes all over the fabric they're charging an arm and a leg for. Screaming kids running all over, staff that can't be bothered to stop gossiping with their friends to greet you in English, and checkout lines that snake on for ages because only one associate can run a register. This location has people, possibly resellers that hang out all day and will knock you out of the way when new merchandise comes out. I heard one of them on the phone saying " I'm at Goodwill hanging out with my friends" They eat, drink and sleep on the furniture, ick! fully sprawled out taking a nap-hog merchandise and then decide later to put it back. It's a group that is in the store almost daily. The men in the group curse loudly and try to flirt with women and block aisles, they have no problem going through your cart if you don't keep a sharp eye on it.
