I came here yesterday to check out some very casual summer clothing, like tank tops, t-shirts and…read moreshorts, that I can wear around the house, since it looks like summer-ish weather in the area isn't going to change any time soon. I don't mind paying a whole lot less for clothing, but I do have a limited range of what I would wear, whether it's been pre-owned or new. Lots of free parking is available in the large lot in front of the store. As I walked through the entrance, I noticed that it's very easy to see everything in the store, since most of the racks and shelving is no taller than 4' tall. There is also easily seen signage throughout the store that lets customers know where the various departments are located. In the limited amount of aisles that I was at, the racks were spaced wide apart, allowing customers with carts to easily stroll down all aisles without fear of colliding with others. The store was very clean, and mostly organized. I looked for tank tops I could wear around my place, but I was apparently being a little too picky because I ruled out every tank top that I found, mainly because I was looking for plain ones (ones without logos or stupid/silly/funny statements on them) and could not find any that I liked. I gave up on t-shirts, too, for the same reasons. Shorts were a different issue; not only was that department picked over, but the shorts I found would not look good on a short guy. Just about all of the shorts I found were made for tall guys, or at least guys with a longer inseam. I found some shorts that had shorter inseams, but still rejected them due to them not being age appropriate for me. What guy wants to wear shorts that would make others think, "Did that guy borrow those shorts from his young grandson?"? Before I left, I noticed a long line of customers waiting to checkout at the single register opened for business. There were at least 12 customers, many of them with multiple items in shopping carts, looking a little annoyed that no other employees came to the front to help that one cashier who was trying to get everyone checked out in a timely manner but failing spectacularly.

This review is just for the donation center…read more The drop for the donation center is really fast and quick as long as there are just a few cars dropping off this and not a whole cars worth of stuff. They have a drive over bell that let's them know whe you arrive. You don't even have to get out of your car. I just popped my truck they grabbed the items in the back, closed it and I was off. Easy drop off so I get to the shopping next door.

That's all part of the fun…read more I stepped inside the doors needed a few specific objects which I found, and I also ended up with something I wasn't shopping for but had been wanting. Yay. This particular Goodwill was bright, pretty organized, and easy enough to navigate. The bulk of the space is filled with clothes, and there are non-wearable items in the back. The "womens" changing rooms are on the left, and the "mens" changing rooms are on the right, but feel free to use either one. Lots of the clothes didn't have that infamous secondhand smell, to my relief. They were arranged in a fashion that made sense (color, style, etc.). There were toys, sporting goods, DVD & records, furniture, kitchen supplies, and more. The book section was respectable too. Most things didn't have price tags, but you could just refer to posted signs about costs. The cashier was quite polite and efficient. I do wish the changing rooms were unlocked though since you have to press a button and wait for someone to come and open one up. Looks like not just any employee can open them up. The restrooms were clean and stocked. They're located in the back right corner of the store. This Goodwill is also in the same shopping center as the delightful Madras Mantra in case you want to pair thrifting with an Indian meal.

It's a large open space (think warehouse) with racks on racks on racks of items. Upon entry, I was immediately overwhelmed and considered leaving. I'm glad I pushed thru the desire to run away. To make it manageable for my brain, I decided to just tour the store to see what was in there and then lock in on one item (women's dresses and skirts) I would look through. I left with four unique clothing items for $18 and some change. Two of the items I purchased had blue price tags and blue was one of the colors of the day that was 50% off. However, I learned that if I shopped on a different day, the items with those color cards would've just been $.99 a piece, so I could've gotten out of there with the same items for even cheaper on the right day. Sort of like any store, at the checkout lane, there is shelving with small items you could grab. Many of those things were like party decorations that were unopened and brand new in the package.

I only saw a few items that were in decent shape. However, the brands they carry just don't align with the price point. Their only requirement is that you have FOUR large bags of clothes included in that pick up. I do love what they do with the item as well. The website is organized and easy to use. They called to confirm my pick up date, and even the driver called when he was 15 minutes out. Easy-peasy! **Don't waste your time trying to search for direct-care organizations to donate larger items (e.g. foster care facilities, transitional housing, homeless shelters) like I did. No one else will take them directly or has space to store them.**

We love the creepy, antique, weird stuff in here and the lady behind the counter was so nice. She told us stories about a lot of items, and she was very funny. We didn't go in to purchase, but she never treated us any differently. She encourages pictures as well! Definitely will be going back!

It's interesting how the same item can be priced significantly lower here - for example, an item that costs $5 at this store might be priced at $10 at another location. Not sure why? TIP: If you do visit here, be sure to check the back wall to the right; they often have excellent clearance items in that section. However, when browsing clearance racks, it's important to double-check the tags, as items are sometimes misplaced and may not be marked down as expected. I visit this store regularly, and I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. Though the lines could move faster. Sometimes they have 10 people in line with only two registers open. That said, I would recommend avoiding weekends if possible, as those are typically the busiest times. As for the manager, I've had positive interactions in the past. Some reviews mention a less-than-ideal experience, but perhaps she was just having an off day. Or, who knows - maybe the situation was a bit of a two-way street. This location is in the…read morebuilding that Barnes and Noble was located in, the Edgewood district shopping Plaza, across from Kroger. Massive space, probably one of the largest Marshalls in the city. It's very organized, dressing rooms are open, and never ending, fully stocked for the most part, although they need to add more purses, dresses, and intimates. I arrived around 1030am on a weekday and it was clean, which is a sign that the closing team did their job. Several cashiers were open and the line of 5 moved pretty quickly. Alia was the associate that assisted me, extremely pleasant person.
