To know me is to know I LOVE to thrift . The issue- it's now a favorite thing to do for a lot of people! Anyway, a friend thought I would enjoy this spot. Since I had a Friday off and nothing to do , I made the drive to the other side of town to check out this spot. I am going to make it quick, I did not find anything worth purchasing. As is the case of most thrift stores in today's economy the prices don't align with the items being used. In this case , the clothing items appear to be very worn. I only saw a few items that were in decent shape. However, the brands they carry just don't align with the price point. I would say if you are in the area, stop in, you may have better luck than I did! read more

In the spirit of thrift stores, this one fits the mold. There's a little some of everything. I stopped in today just because I was in the area and always curious about what was inside. It's a large open space (think warehouse) with racks on racks on racks of items. Upon entry, I was immediately overwhelmed and considered leaving. I'm glad I pushed thru the desire to run away. To make it manageable for my brain, I decided to just tour the store to see what was in there and then lock in on one item (women's dresses and skirts) I would look through. I left with four unique clothing items for $18 and some change. Two of the items I purchased had blue price tags and blue was one of the colors of the day that was 50% off. However, I learned that if I shopped on a different day, the items with those color cards would've just been $.99 a piece, so I could've gotten out of there with the same items for even cheaper on the right day. Sort of like any store, at the checkout lane, there is shelving with small items you could grab. Great thrift store. Very friendly and helpful staff. One day per week is senior day when everything is 30% off (I think Thursday) and there's always a 50% off color tag sale happening. It's my go-to thrift store for home decor, books (cheapest place in Atlanta for used books!!!!), sometimes clothing. read more

I have been coming to this place for 15+ years now.! Even when I was a kid, my sweet aunt would bring us here EVERY MONDAY.. (at The old location) bc of that, We've always called this store the "Monday Store'! They'd used to do half-off Mondays, but haven't done that since pre-Covid. I have a photo attached with the new deals & discounted days as of 3/2023! Super affordable.. But you'll have to get your hands dirty. :) This is such a gem of a place, that I kinda really don't want to share too much. Haha. It's a huge warehouse, & they have everything from clothes, to home decor, to toys, to WHO KNOWS WHAT YOULL FIND! :) I love that the clothing is sorted by size!!! Easy to dig & search. Lots of kids clothing. They have used items, & quite often Ill find items still with tags.! Plenty brand names! If you're looking for vintage/used furniture they have plenty of it in the back.. so don't be afraid to explore the back of the warehouse. Last chance before the dumpster maybe - this thrift store is huge but seems to have a very mediocre selection, all lower tier mall brands (gap, old navy, and yesteryear's bankrupt equivalents) and t-shirts from peoples' churches and family reunions. There's not even any cool retro/old stuff - pretty much everything they have feels like it's from the last five years. Most of their inventory is XL and above - not much effort put into weeding out stuff obviously nobody wants or maintaining a good size balance. On the plus side, pretty much everything is priced like the soon-to-be shop rags they are, with shirts starting at 99¢. You can find a lot here... but do you really want any of it? read more

Who thought being broke would be this fun! No, being broke is s not fun but going to last chance sure is! It's a medium sized thrift store with everything and the proceeds from your donation actually go to charity. Even when I was employed I hated going clothes shopping. I simply went to old navy and got some g rated t shirts and some approximately fitting blue jeans. At Last Chance I go to try on clothes from every store in the mall without leaving the premises. Now unless you are an obese man, of which Atlanta seems to have a lot of very generous ones, stock is going to be low. But you have to treat it like a treasure hunt and come back regularly to find those perfect pants. Staff was nice and efficient and there was no wait for dressing rooms. read more

Great furniture huge warehouse of clothes and other fantastic things / make it an afternoon!

My favorite thing about this thrift store is that it is organized by SIZE! Oh thank goodness. That is one of my biggest gripe about most Goodwill stores. I don't care about organization by color. What does it matter if it isn't in my size. Not a fan of the pant sizing as it is by inches and not by regular sizing (8, 10, 12, etc.). Women's clothing isn't sized like that typically. And even then, the sizes in any given section are all over the place. The organization helps some but not precisely when it comes to the pants. I usually shop at the store on Saturday - which happens to be 50% off women's clothing. Score! Items are mostly in good condition which is good. I actually shop here mostly though for my son's clothes as they are so CHEAP! A great way to supplement your kiddo's wardrobe. Alot of his daycare clothes have come from this thrift store. Check out the deals of the day to see what discounts are being offered. Thursday is military discount day, for example. They also provide you with coupon for next visit. Which I always seem to forget at home. Argh. read more

This is hands down my most favorite place to shop in Georgia! They have the most amazing items, often from mansions and estates sales, fantastic and reasonable prices, and the staff is friendliest in town! I always like to go in and just hang out awhile! I like to take my time and enjoy the treasure hunting experience and bring home a car load of the best deals in town! Aside from the clothes, shoes and nicknacks, I especially love the awesome antiques and other items they've acquires from mansions and estate sales! Many people know about this amazing place, so if you see something you like today, you'd better grab it! It probably won't be there tomorrow! If you were caught off guard and you're not prepared to take it immediately, talk to the staff to see if you can leave a deposit! They are awesome. They might work with you! I've been meaning to drop by this place for years when I worked in the area but the parking lot was ALWAYS packed! Now I understand why, Monday's are half off everything! Went on a Saturday and found out ladies clothes were half off. I told myself I was only looking for an office chair. HA! Definitely found was I was looking for... and more! It was easy to browse the clothes in my size as clothing is sorted by size (vs color at other thrift stores). I purchased 8 items for $35!! $15 leather chair (nice leather & cushion, with wood legs - heavy!) $20 - 2 sweaters, 1 blouse, 1 sweater dress, 3 dress pants for $20. ALL were name brand (The Loft, Calvin Klein, The Limited, etc). They have dressing rooms to try on clothes which is recommended as its final sale after purchase. They have all types of clothes, knick-knacks, shoes, glassware, records, music, movies, books, furniture, toys... something for everyone. When you check out, ask for their loyalty card. It's a card they punch for every $10 purchase. After $100 you get a $5.00 discount. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to shop as the hubby was calling looking for me. Will definitely be back! Last Chance is a little rundown and doesn't smell great, but it's full of people's old stuff, so who can blame 'em? As far as inexpensive thrift stores go, this one is great. It's huge, relatively well-organized, and (this is the best part) it actually has fitting rooms! A lot of other thrift stores don't allow you to try on clothes before buying them, but Last Chance has several self-service fitting rooms (meaning no one has to unlock them for you). Also, the aisles are wide, so you won't end up getting into a weird cart traffic jam and it seems like it would be wheelchair friendly. I went in around noon on a Friday, so it wasn't crowded at all. I ended up purchasing some great women's clothing, including t-shirts, a dress, a skirt, a beach cover-up, and a beautiful jacket, ranging in price from $0.50 to $13. The back room is filled with lots of beautiful (and some not-so-beautiful) furniture, including vintage hardwood pieces. You'll also find books, movies, electronics, and miscellaneous stuff back there, but I only looked around briefly. read more

This place is actually really cool. It probably the sketchiest location and parking situation I have ever seen - it is basically just a giant warehouse on the side of the road. You walk in, and it doesn't smell great or even look great, but it is huge and filled to the brim with hidden treasures. As someone has mentioned, it looks and feels exactly like a thrift store feels so don't come expecting some trendy, chic little joint. I always come on Monday because everything is half off. My roommate and I scour these shelves and usually spend most of our money in the back room off the left. The entire front of the store holds just clothes and accessories. The organization of it isn't exactly on point, but it is easy enough to navigate in my opinion. Dressing rooms can be really nerve wracking because they are often full and when you do manage to snag one, only a thin, unraveling curtain separates your naked body from the world. But if you like adventure, it is definitely an experience. Anyway, I haven't bought much clothes here, but I have found a lot of clothes I would buy at really good prices. I have spent more of my money on the awesome Christmas stuff, DVDS, home decor, and glasses all of which are incredibly cheap and also half-off on Monday. A truly truly incredible place. By far, the largest thrift store I've ever set eyes on. I came in need of a ridiculous 80's outfit, and oh yes, I found one. 4lbs of sequins, mesh neckline a la Nancy Kerrigan, and colors only seen together on Dynasty. Monday are 1/2 off, making the finds you come across all the better. Housewares and furniture were incredibly picked over with nothing worthy of a spot in my abode. Clothing is the real bread and butter here, with tons and tons in all ranges of shapes and sizes. I am fine with giving away this spot because this place always has enough for everyone. I used to want to hide some of my thrift store finds because then resellers take over but this place has plenty to go around. The deals they have throughout the week along with their prices make you feel like you are stealing the clothes, because they have high quality name brands. Honestly I don't see what all the hype is about. The place itself is huge but the quality of stuff in there is subpar in my opinion many of the clothes I saw I had stains and we're not in good condition. However if you just need like some tablecloth or art or even furniture then it may be a decent place to start your search but as far as clothes it's a no go. read more

Yeaaaaaah boooooy! (in my Flava Flav voice) I was super stoked when I walked into this place for the first time last Friday (well not when I first walked in). Ok, so its a thrift store. It's dingy and dust as shit in there BUT its huge and I found some great treasures that I cant wait to revamp! I found a dresser for $34.99 that I can refinish and a few heavy boxes that can me made as side tables or seating. My cheap ass walked out and returned the next day. I had to sleep on it. I walk back in first thing Saturday morning with my fingers crossed, hoping the items were still there. Yippeee! They were. So when the guy wrote the ticket for me, I asked if they had any sales. He told me that everything was half off on Mondays hmmmm my frugal mind began to wonder if I should wait. He suggested that I shouldn't and pointed to a severely broken chest and said that "THAT will be gone on Monday. Its packed in here on Monday's" Ok, ok so I got it. I couldn't beat that. The dresser was in good condition and its just what I was looking for. I asked the cashier if I could pay for the items and pick them up another day - they allow three days. Cool I went back on Sunday to pick them up. I told a girlfriend about a piece that we could use for the studio and suggested that she try to get it on sale. It was gone on Monday. Now I know how serious this place can be. It wasn't a fancy piece at all and it was gone. Sure wished that I could've gotten eh dresser for $17 rather than $35, but im glad I didn't take that chance to wait. Thrift store shopping, I'm a fan. Last Chance is one of the best thrift stores around and you can really score some finds here. I've bought everything from clothes to glassware to Christmas decorations to Halloween outfits here. Usually the store isn't crowded, but Monday is half off day and it can get busy. Here's a tip, go Sunday and hide stuff that you want (like shirts) and go back on Monday to pick it up half off. Yeah, I'm cheap. Good selection usually and block off at least an hour to go through the store. Good atmosphere too. I've heard indy rock and classics blasting while goth rock employees mill about. I really enjoyed my visit at this store. I found about ten things 2 Pairs of jeans A super nice name brand top Adidas track jacket a skirt two figurines travel bags cosmetic bag and a purse I spent $30 total. Awesome! This is a great haul for me. The store is very organized. I love the space. Its huge in here! The prices are decent but made even better that there is something half off. On Mondays, everything is half off! They also have a really good selection of plus size clothing. The staff was friendly and fast. Oh and the furniture is more towards the "get-you-by" end of the spectrum but you can find good usable pieces like chairs and coffee tables and also beds. I hardly miss a Monday at Last Chance. What better than to buy a thrift store find at half off! I buy most of my daughters clothes here. She's a toddler and grows out of clothes quickly. I've had some good finds. Toddler tennis shoes that retail for $35 [barely used] I bought for .50 cents! We get compliments on them all of the time. I also bought her a brand new [with tags attached] snow/ski bib for $2. I buy my jeans here. $2.50 on Monday's. Not bad. As with any thrift store there are weeks when I find nothing. Dressing rooms are a plus. The people that work at Last Chance are always very nice. **Ladies mindful of your purse...a few times I've been in purses have been stolen from carts along with car keys. There are good deals to be found here, if you're patient and willing to sift through things. It can be a little overwhelming to go through the entire store, so I just do one section per visit. Definitely cheaper than most of the other thrift stores in the area, but organization is lacking. But they also open earlier than other stores, so it's a good little trip after I drop off the kid at preschool. read more

It's a thrift store! Not an antique, consignment or vintage store. In saying that, it's a little dusty and cluttered. BUT... there are treasures to be found. I personally am one of the few who occasionally wait in line on Mon to get 1st dibs on things as soon as they open. I am a stay at home mom with 5 kids so the values I get here go a long way. I bought a stainless steel gas grill for $24. Woman's Designer dresses with tags still on for $2-3. Department store brand childrens jeans & clothing for $1-2 a piece (justice, children's place, gap, land's end, hannah anderson, etc.) Mondays EVERYTHING is 1/2 off. The other days of the week certain things are discounted 50% according to a particular color. I believe Thurs is senior citizen day. It's not the mall but, if you don't mind filtering through another mans trash to find your treasure, there are plenty of deals here. read more

I was a little disappointed with this place. I know thrift shops don't really have too much control over their stock, but there was nothing I even thought twice about buying(except maybe a Johnny Paycheck and a Thomas Dolby record). I made it to my usual thrift shop departments. The record/LP section, the book section, and the t-shirt section. The record section was 99% 12' singles, or whatever you call them and most of those were DJ discards. If you are a down on your luck DJ with little to spend looking for sounds of the mid to late nineties then I suggest checking here. If you're an eclectic music lover who is looking for a few nuggets for your LP collection then I would say not to waste your time, which is what I did flipping through the entire collection and finding nothing worth buying. The book section was another disaster. It wasn't the least bit organized and pretty small compared to Goodwill or any of the others. And the T-shirts: There were the usual special event t-shirts that are in every thrift store. I didn't find any cool local retro shirts I'm always on the look out for. Three strikes. To top it off, this place was not the cleanest thrift shop I've been too. There's that selfish part of me that doesn't want anyone else to know about this place. It's off Church Street, down a hill in a run-down shopping center, but this is such a find! This is not the place to go if you are a Bloomingdale's shopper, looking for some designer pieces at reasonable prices. You won't really find anything here. If you like to dig a little for your clothing, think out of the box, and pay a fraction of the prices for clothing at the mall, or really even other thrift stores, this is the place for you. Highschoolers and adults that are more creative, you will like this place. I find things here all the time. Don't go looking for a suit for your meeting, or a prom dress, but everyday clothes, are an easy find here. You want a T-Shirt with a funky logo? Done. Jeans that aren't 200 dollars and look good? Done. Cute lightweight skirts and dresses for the summer time? Done. Don't tell anyone, but I even bought a pair of Dolce and Gabbana Boots here...and they were real! Sometimes you find a real gem, and sometimes you find some cute jeans, but either way you will go home happy. On another note. I do admit that I do wash the clothes that I buy here when I get them home. I mean, I've never run into anything icky, but I just like to make sure everything is clean before i wear it all day. The staff that works here is extremely nice, especially the guy with the dark hair and all the tattoos. No one treats you like an alien when you are here, and there are different styles and sizes for everyone. read more

Last Chance, yes, this is last chance before most of these clothes hit the dumpster. I do consider myself to be very creative with my fashion, but here it was sheer madness. People running into you with picked over selections made this place a no bueno shopping experience. Nothing really jumped out to me. While I do appreciate how it was separated by size, but other than that, I think I am going to stick with Goodwill on Buford Highway. I could not wait for Monday to come sooner when I found out this entire store was half off on Mondays. So I dragged my butt across town after work to check it out. What a let-down!! Seriously! My sole intent was containers for the kitchen. I found lots of overpriced trash, like those Danish cookie tins with the wrappers still inside (no cookies, that would've been really gross) and Taco Bell cups you get for free! I'm giving it 2 stars because I did find 2 little baskets for 35 cents. I never knew how beautiful my boyfriend's legs were until he slipped on a pair of black high-heel women's boots scored from the Last Chance Thrift Store. Not to mention his chest - the white ruffle blouse he snagged there truly accentuates his sternum's manly curvature. He doesn't usually don ladies' attire. These items will comprise part of his Halloween costume - the Goblin King from Labyrinth. I, too, scored big time costume-wise. The front mannequin displayed a white vintage Neiman Marcus wedding dress, complete with a train and gossamer chest fabric. The prior owner pinned up the train to prevent trippage. No, I'm not going to be a zombie bribe. This year I'm partying á la Loretta Lynn. Otherwise I find Last Chance's wares undesirable. Perhaps that's because I'm too impatient to sift through the bulging racks. I love dropping off my old clothes and housewares here, though.
