Goodyear is the best! I have taken my vehicles here for years, and will continue to do so! Any time I am forced into using a different shop, it never ends well. This Goodyear location always provides fast, reasonably priced, quality service. The manager at this location, Julio, is friendly, and helpful! The staff makes sure you understand what needs to be done, what they will do, and what they have done afterwards. The place is clean with a nice, quiet room to wait for your car, and it's in a convenient location. Definitely choose to go here over anywhere else. read more

Our van started making a weird noise the night before and we made an appointment to bring it in to get checked out. On the way there our van died. I pulled off and had to get it towed to the repair center on a Saturday mid day. We are in the area visiting family and are leaving Monday and we were stressing about not being able to leave, figuring the van wouldn't be repaired in time; but Julio and the team discovered we needed a new alternator and installed a new one the same day! He was trustworthy, responsive and prompt. Definitely recommend this repair center to anyone. We would give them 100 stars if we could. read more

I've been to this location before and it was fine but due to several negative experiences with the Firestone in Clay this will be my new go to regular maintenance location. I called on Tuesday for an appointment for an oil change and winter tire swap out. They got me right in the next afternoon. Julio checked me in and I must say he was the nicest guy I've drawing in a long time. This was for the service of my company car which is usually a pain because they cleave to contact the fleet company for payment and all that. Julio knew exactly what he was doing and made it very easy for me. He told me it would be about 90 minutes and they were spot on. I couldn't get there before they closed so I had him lock the keys inside the car and I was able to pick it up with my spare set after hours. I would like to start off by saying that usually good year is a good company but honestly it is just like every robbing and topical mechanics that there are. Me and my family have been going over there for years now and we thought that they were reliable until the last visit we had. We had changed both our battery and also our tires. Everything had been going fine until a month later where my battery just stopped working and I ended up stranded at a target... Someone really sweet helped me out and jumped my car and I saw something was a bit loose in the battery area. I went to my nearest Nissan and they fixed the loose part that good year messed up. Good year ended up not putting the battery in all the way and didn't tighten it all the way. I went over to good year and I asked what they could do for me about this awe full experience and the only thing they could do was give me the installation fee back. I asked if they could at least send someone else out to see if anything else needed to be tightened and they did. The person that came out ended up doing what?... tightening like four other things connected to the battery. They also talked to me like they wouldn't own up to their mistake. They didn't even say sorry for what they did likeeeeeee..... I would not really recommend this place for tedious things like putting a new battery in or doing anything else that requires putting a lot of effort and precision in it. If I can make this a 2.5 star I would. read more

** Update *** Please do read my original, before the update. After writing GoodYear Corporate and explaining my situation, they promptly refunded me for my out of pocket expenses! My original rating was 2 stars, and it just went up 1! ************** Customer Service is not their forte. Neither is changing tires. I'm not even sure where to start.... First off, when they say that the tire change will encompass everything, what they forget to tell you is that they just "check" for tire alignment, and not actually perform one as part of the package - the actual tire alignment is an additional cost. So don't fall for their "Tire Service" and assume that tire alignment is included. Secondly the most important issue for me was that they broke my TPMS sensor on the tire, never told me about it, and let me drive off after a $854 bill. As I drive down the road I noticed that the car pulled to the right, clearly an indication that something was wrong with the tire. And since I was losing 5psi every day out of the front tire, it was safe to assume that something was indeed wrong. Turns out while they were changing the tire, they broke the TPMS stem. That wasn't even the thing that boiled me up. It was their blatant lie and adamant stance that it was not caused by the tire change! The service manager even had the audacity to point out the valve stem and said "We don't touch that part sir, we just do the Tire" - whilst pointing to the tire :) So why did I give them two stars instead of one? Because after fighting with several incompetent folks at Goodyear (all with Manager in their title), I finally found the Store manager to be somewhat reasonable - Jodi (sp). He did offer to replace the TPMS sensor for no charge, but by that time I had already taken it to the dealer and resolved the issue. I'm sure every place has their issues, but if you're entire business revolves around Tire Service, you need to do a much better job at it. And have some customer service skills. read more

Have been going here 15+ years. Have never had an issue. People there are friendly and helpful. Seems they save me money on every visit. Coupons or special promotions I wasn't aware of, etc. Great service. I normally wait with car for oil changes/tire rotations, always very prompt. Have had brakes done on numerous cars over the years, along with other routine maintenance, and have only had Goodyear tires on my cars for last 15+ years. Noticed low pressure & a screw close to sidewall of a back tire on my Caddy. Drove over to Goodyear Rte 31 B'ville, NY & they immediately aired it back up so I could still make my tee time (priorities right?!). Asked them to get me a quote on 2 new tires & I was on my way. They called later that day with a price & ordered the tires. Unfortunately, delivery took longer than they expected so Dan (Store Mgr) offered to replace them without charging me labor. As soon as they came in, he got my car in the following day as promised & his team had me in & out in less than an hour. Everyone I dealt with at the Goodyear Baldwinsville Store was courteous & professional. I shop for all my family's tires there & appreciated the concern they exhibited regarding my issue. Out of respect for the team's effort I offered & paid labor as the delivery had nothing to do with the Goodyear's Rte 31 B'ville Store. We're fortunate to have these guys providing us service. They took care of me when I needed their help...just wanted to extend my thanks to them. read more

I have been bringing my car here for routine maintenance for 4 years now and have never had an issue. I was 18 the first time and am 22 now, and being a female you always here "oh bring a man with you", "careful about what they try to sell you on," but never once have I felt pressured into anything or that they were trying to get me to do anything I didn't need. They're very honest and have showed me recommended maintenance from the manufacturer, and when I decided to hold off on it there were no questions asked. Instead of "you NEED this" like other places, it was, "this is recommended but your car seems to be doing well without it," which I appreciate. The staff is always friendly and always ask about when/if i need the car back at a certain time. Trustworthiness is huge to me! They are also very helpful and automatically apply any special pricing/coupons that I wasn't even aware of. They're very good at explaining what a problem is, what issues it could cause in the future, and the risks/benefits of waiting to do something. Instead of paying/driving away when I pick my car up, they go over everything with me and tell me any recommendations they have. I will never bring any of my cars anywhere else. read more

Superb customer service! B'Ville Goodyear presented multiple, financially feasible options to accommodate my roadside emergency needs.

I went to Goodyear on route 31 in Liverpool NY because they offer an oil change for 19.99 and that is hard to beat as the price to do it myself is around $18. (in saying this, hopefully they actually change the oil) During my last oil change they did the classic "your cabin air filter needs to be changed for twenty something dollars." Please, we all know I can get a cabin filter for less than $10 and replace it myself in minutes. The fact that they take it out to show you indicates that it is no work for them to do. However, I can't blame them for that as it is probably one of the highest margin services they offer. So, at this point things are going as expected I guess. I am then told my tires are reading 5/32's. This now strikes me as odd as the tires are 22 months old and only have 15,900 miles on them. Plus, the warranty on the tires are 80,000 miles but don't get me started as to what that really means. Jody is now looking for a tire sale. He is putting on his best show. Winter is coming and I am going to be in a world of pain if I ride those this winter etc. etc. blah blah. I just smile and politely tell him I'll look into it. I go home and get my Dunn Tire receipt and the next day I go to Dunn Tire to talk to someone. The tires look good to me; I rotate them every 5,000 miles myself. Nonetheless, let's see what those guys say. Long story short, I find out the warranty is worthless, and the person at Dunn Tire measures the tire with a gauge and says they are 7/32's and I will probably get 2 more years out of them. I am there and I measure as well. The tires came with 11/32's and I drive like a 100 year old man (sorry grandpa) so the fact that I am at 7/32s with less than 16,000 miles is still disturbing. Even with the theoretical two years left at 10,000 mile a year I will still have less than 40,000 miles on these tires. He starts to explain that 80,000 may be still plausible but I kindly do the math with him and we both see that with those numbers I will never get there. But oh well, time to go back to Goodyear. Unfortunately the salesman of the year, I mean store manager, is not there. I ask the guy at the counter if he would do me the pleasure of measuring my tire with his gauge - (he has no idea i was there yesterday) he measures 7/32s on the inner, center, and outer parts of the tire. I then take out my printed invoice from yesterday that shows 5/32s on all four tires yesterday. He says there must have been a data entry error from the hand written invoice to the computer. We go inside to see the hand written invoice which has 5/32 for the three measurements on all four tires. He then back pedals and says the mechanic did a misreading. You mean the mechanic did 12 misreading's as he took 3 measurements on 4 tires and they all read 5/32s? If this mechanic has a hard time seeing the gauge then he/she may be letting tires that are under state limits pass on by. What a safety concern! Or worse, you guys could be missing out on legitimate tire sales! Picking up on any sarcasm? Or wait, do you think the invoice has a simple formula to it where you take the true reading and subtract 2 from it. So, the misreading's are always in your favor? Now that sounds more accurate. Wait, I should use a different word because the word 'accurate' is not in Goodyear's vocab. The truth is they lie on their paperwork to try to push sales. Don't ever buy from Goodyear without getting a second opinion, or better yet, check the measurements or whatever you are getting roped into yourself. Even better, don't go there at all. I am interesting if someone from corporate will contact me. I think I will ask for their KPI as I am sure tire sales is one of the metrics. read more
