I once drove right off the highway into their lot with every engine light on, and my car was diagnosed, fixed, and ready to drive again very shortly after. They even supported me through getting reimbursement from a shop that had done poor work leading to this issue. I feel that the cost is reasonable compared to what I've paid other places, I am often pleasantly surprised with the total for services. Call ahead and they can often tell you when the best time to come in is for the quickest service!

I have Parkinson's and the van has been converted to accommodate a wheelchair and fitted w a ramp. I need it to stay independent. The reviews on Yelp were so positive I called and got an appointment. Allow me to say, you all were so right. This place knocked my socks off. John is so thoughtful and thorough, he doesn't make you feel like a loser if you need to have something explained, and he's a problem solver. McKenzie, the young woman working the counter, is similarly on the job, and is equally thoughtful. For example, seeing I use a wheelchair, they made it easier for me to access the office and in a way that was matter of fact and not condescending. When I needed to return the next day for an inspection sticker, McKenzie met me outside the office while still in the van, and did the back and forth on my behalf. It might seem minor but it's so nice to have someone see and act on the "little" things that make life easier to maneuver. Bottom line: Bayberry Automotive is now my go-to garage of choice. They were great w my car, and w me. They have my strong endorsement.

    My husband and my dad have used Jason's Auto Repair in Liverpool on and off for Harley inspections…read moreand auto repairs; today will be the last however. I drove my dad over today to pick up his vehicle before Jason's employees could begin any work on it. This was after I happened to read a snarky and mean spirited social media post Jason made on his business Facebook page mocking my father. It strikes me as odd that the owner has so much extra time to spend in his air conditioned office on social media, than in the shop. Anyway, my dad got the keys from Jason's wife in the office and was walking out, when Jason confronted him in the parking lot in a very aggressive and confrontational manner. I was concerned for my dad who is 80 years old, small stature, and mostly deaf. It's obvious Jason could benefit from anger management classes after seeing his behavior today, and the way he responds to people on social media who say anything he doesn't agree with. His comments reflect his condescending, arrogant, and hostile attitude. On his Facebook business page Jason mocks my dad's BMW for failing inspection elsewhere, and then again at his shop, for a broken tire spring. A repair that Jason called "minimal." I don't think a lot of folks just getting by would agree that $1,600 is "minimal." Jason made a point of emphasizing on his post that the vehicle was a BMW. Yes, it's a LATE MODEL BMW X3 SUV. How is that even relevant? The vehicle belonged to my now deceased mother. It was her wish before she passed from breast cancer to own one luxury car in her lifetime. Frankly, my dad is happier driving his 13 year old Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck w/out all the bells and whistles. Speaking of which, today Jason was screaming at my father claiming my dad gave him a hard time a couple years ago when the pick-up failed inspection for a broken sway bar. That was completely FALSE. Records on file prove Jason PASSED the truck, and my dad himself discovered the broken sway bar after the fact. He took it back to Jason's for the repair. Bottom line- use caution when dealing with this shop, as the owner has a scary temper. He will no doubt write a rebuttal to this and claim I'm a "liar" or mark it as "spam" as that is his modus operandi with all negative reviews left online. I stand behind what I wrote! Thankfully we found another local shop today who will do the repair (minus $300) and this owner (who is familiar with BMW parts) doesn't judge an elderly man driving a BMW, make inaccurate assumptions, and mock him on social media.

    Took our truck in for repair of power drive cable, was told on that Friday that they would look at…read moreit by Monday or Tuesday (2 people heard this). Would call with information. !.5 seeks later still no call so we called and were told it wasn't even looked at yet and they were going on vacation in a few days for a week. (what why were we not told that when we dropped it off, oh wait because we were told a few days for a call..) So now we're into week 4 and still not a word of any work, so again we call( never them) and are told that the part we brought was wrong and they had to get a new part, another week goes by and nothing, then we get told oh the rack is bad and we need to have it replaced,,, at a cost of $2000, ( original price of other work was about $400 or so) so we say to do it and still 2 more weeks later it finally got worked on and completed. 6= weeks for a power steering cable. Excuse after excuse, and throw in a vacation. This is poor service and we had a similar situation with our van there, but thought maybe he got better. Our mistake. If you don't need your car/truck/van soon go here but other wise be prepared to wait and wait and wait for him to even look at the vehicle. Then up the price by adding on other repairs. Did he apologize, yes, was it okay? no. I am sure lots of other cars were in and out while ours sat waiting to even get in. This is a poor service company. I am sure this review will be met with them in a nasty way, it is what they do to poor reviews, lose their temper. but I am stating actual facts that he had to acknowledge when the truck was finally done. Will never recommend or be returning, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Go anywhere but here.
