Awful. Made purchase a 4 tire purchase and appointment. They never showed. The transaction was left pending in my account for days. I had to cancel a vacation out of state we had planned on for a year. I was not able to purchase tires from somewhere else until the pending transaction fell off my account. I've tried this place twice. First visit: Needed the AC fixed. It was laughable how the tech and the shop manager tried to explain to me that I needed a new compressor AND dryer to get the AC to work when the AC worked in the rear vents of the van just not in the front. "Are there two compressors and two dryers?" I asked. "No just one of each". "Well then, how is cold air produced for the back if those components are not working?" We went back and forth like that for 10 minutes until I asked; "Is there a part that is designed to direct part of the cooling to the front, and part to the rear?" Ah, "yes" that part did exist they replied - now we're getting somewhere. I bought that part from NAPA for about $20 and had it installed elsewhere which fixed the trouble. I paid only $80 and wiped my ass with their $700 estimate. Second visit: I coasted into to Columbus on a nearly flat tire one day and bought my replacement tire from them. About 6 months later the belts broke on that replacement tire. They flat refused to acknowledge that the belts broke in favor of my car suddenly needing a front end alignment in addition to the new tire. Let's recap: one tire with one big lump under the unworn tread and one letter to corporate Goodyear in order to get that tire replaced. read more

No complaints about the service. Jeff at the front desk had his hands full with cars the previous Friday, but said he could start on my car first thing Saturday morning. I live in walking distance, so that was cool. They had the car in and out in an hour. Unlike an oil change place, no bullcrap about all the extra plugs and filters I needed. He suggested one, in a way that didn't add pressure, and I took it. They were great, and for the first time getting an oil change, I didn't walk out with my pockets turned inside out. Either you fight the crowds on the weekend, or take time off work to wait it out during a workday. Enter the downtown Goodyear. Absolutely do no recommend this place at all! Go to a different tire store! I would give them 0 stars if that were possible. We had a tire go flat in our jeep and desperately needed a new tire being that my girlfriend is a traveling nurse. Her tire pressure sensor was broken in the flat. Given that we were in a rush to get her vehicle fixed and didn't have the extra money to spend on a new tire pressure sensor (about $110 just for the sensor!!) we asked them to just put in a rubber valve stem and that we didn't care if the tire pressure light was on. They kept telling my girlfriend and I that they could not put in a rubber valve stem and that we had to buy the $100 sensor (which is absolutely not true considering I am in the automotive business). This is a prime example of an automotive business trying to take advantage of an "unaware" consumer! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Or they will try to take advantage of you!!! I got my Grand Cherokee a/c system that was not working properly fixed and other services done at Goodyear's Eckel Junction Rd. Perrysburg Oh. Service Center. I left the vehicle. They looked at the a/c equipment and computer display, called, and advised the total job of parts, labor, and service, would run to approx $2,000 . I said ,"fix the problem". After they got into the system, they looked into the unit and determined they could replace the damaged peices only, and not the whole unit, and it worked perfect. They called me when finished and said I could pick up my vehicle, they also said the price totaled $1100 for the parts, labor, and other services, about 1/2 the original price given. The Goodyear Perrysburg group did an exellent job, and saved me half the price of the repair. Thanks again, for the extra effort, that saved me money read more

Today, I was faced with the unfortunate crapping out of my water pump on the way to work. They got me in right away and had it done before the end of the day. We were having some car problems on a Saturday and it was difficult to find a place in the downtown area that had a mechanic to do the repairs. After driving around and calling out to a few places we stopped by this Goodyear. They let us know that the NTB might be able to help us out. We thank them for their great customer service as it was a real life saver. If it wasn't for them we may still be stuck in Columbus with no way to get back to Chicago. I would give them five stars for customer service but docked it down to four as we really didn't get a full in store repair service experience. read more

This is the last time I will go here for any work. I've been taking my car here for oil changes for about six years. Oil changes are fine, reasonably priced. In 2011 I bought tires from them that after 10,000 miles had so much road noise they were unbearable. I tried to figure out the issue and they told me it was an issue with something involving the back tire. They quoted $700 to replace both sides. My husband replaced them and the noise continued. He went on tirerack.com and found out those tires were reviewed as having loud road noise after 10,000 mi. I showed the review to Firestone and I we negotiated a purchase of new tires at 50% off the listed price. Two years later I get oil changed and get a call stating they are recommending new tires due to low tread. I asked if they were under warranty since they were bought there. He started back pedaling that there wasn't a need for the warranty because hadn't reached that low of a tread level yet. This is just the time they start talking to customers about new tires (less than 28,000 mi on them). So basically, we want to scare you into buying a new set of tires until we find out you have a clue about your car and we would be bearing the cost of the replacement. NO MORE MONEY HERE! read more

The people at the front desk are just awful. I stopped in at around 3:15 p.m. on 3/5/19, to inquire whether or not they had time to plug and change out my tire (they're open until 6:00 p.m.). The guy at the front desk responds, "today? we can't promise today but can keep the car overnight. During this conversation, another guy at front desk is snickering sarcastically and shaking his head. He and the woman behind the front desk proceeded to share some snide remarks under their breath (clearly in response to my inquiry). Seriously? I simply asked a question. If I had to make an appointment to get a tire plugged that's fine but to treat me like some second class citizen is unacceptable. Get over yourselves, I work closely with executives and have never been treated this poorly by any of them. I guess they didn't see enough dollar signs to treat me with some kindness and respect. I will NEVER step foot in this place again and I'm telling everyone who'll listen about my experience. read more

I have been a loyal customer at the downtown Goodyear. I bought my tires from them (which had to be balanced mutiple times before my car was returned to its normal smooth ride) had my breaks done (that work had to be redone also) and get my oil changed there. Its a convenient location for downtown dwellers such as myself. My last appointment with them is the last straw. I had break pads replaced and noticed that there was "grabbing" whenever I turned the wheel. I took it to them to correct this and told them that I had noticed my temperature guage was running high and it seemed like my fan was running more than usual. I wasnt sure if it was the summer temps or if something was wrong but I was planning a long road trip and didn't want to take any chances. They inspected my car and fixed the brakes (warranty work, no charge) and advised I had a hole in my radiator and my water pump needed to be replaced. I picked up my 2008 Cadillac CTS with a $1700 estimate to fix the radiator, etc. I was skeptical so I called my friend who knows something about cars. He felt there was no way this was true and certainly not both the radiator and water pump. I got a second opionion and, sure enough, no hole in the radiator, water pump was fine, in fact, there was not a single drop of anything leaking from my car. Thermostat was replaced and all is well. I am extremely disappointed and will never go back. They clearly were trying to take advantage of someone who is obviously ignorant about cars. Leigh Ann S. read more
