I went in to have an oil change with a free tire rotation. I had a Groupon I paid $40 for and it was supposedly for a $60 oil change. Got there and they charged me $133!!!!! And didn't rotate the tires because they said they were all bald! Which they still all have some good tread on them! They didn't even put the sticker in my window saying when the next service is due. Only reason I went there was because it was a Sunday and would t be able to get done during the week. What a rip off! read more

Prompt efficient service when needed! I made the appointment 2 weeks in advance for brand new tires for my car. It was easy to get on the website and schedule. I was recommended by Alternative Auto Care for a great place to get tires. I parked my car in the parking lot and went inside and got checked in. It was going to be a couple hours so I went ahead and walked over to crimson cup coffee shop and chilled out til they were done! I had a great experience here. Saturday morning I lost a tire to a pothole on Weber Rd. I called Mr. Tire because it was the closest tire joint to my home. Luckily, they had an immediate opening. I drove the 1.5 miles to get there on a flat tire. I was helped immediately and was out the door with a new tire in about 25 minutes. It was quicker than an oil change at the dealer. The guy working the front was patient and he had a great sense of humor. Things just happened to work out right. Given the chance, I would definitely go back. read more

The person behind the desk Just gAve a quote for Yokahama Tornate of $900, but when I went online for the same quote at the same store aMs had it emailed to me, it was $631.92; The same person wanted me to have my tires balanced after rotation. I never heard of that before. He said it would only be $30. but I think he was going to charge me $30 per tire = $120 read more

When I came out of the gym I noticed a rear tire was almost flat. Thought about what to do for a minute and decided to call Mr. Tire in Clintonville that was on my way home. He answered and I said I was going to drive on the tire to the repair shop. Roy was very nice and they were able to fix the tire between appointments and I left there a very happy customer. Ok, Today started out bad with a flat. But after calling 3 other tire worthless shops(firestone, goodyear) Mr tire was coueteous, had my tire in stock and took care of me quickly. I was in and out in one hour. They gave me an option of an entry level tire at $108 or the Yokahama at $189. Since i have an Audi A6, it was great to have a better option. It has been so difficult finding a good tire shop since i moved here frim LA one year ago, but this place is great, friendly and reasonably priced . read more

Mr. Tire... you have lost a few customers for life. I mean I understand you will get a lot of girly girl sorority girls that need you to fix the car daddy bought for them, being located down from campus.... but not all girls are clueless about cars kthanx. I went with my sister recently to check what the squealing was on her brakes (aka confirm that the brakes were low and quote me a price to replace them) But oh no... they spent well over a half hour going over the car to come out and tell us that the calipers were stuck and since its a newer car they're a special kind, and its gonna cost over a grand to get the part shipped and all the labor and they'll have to go over the whole brake line, and replace a shoe or 2... not once mentioning that the brakes were low AT ALL!! So as we told them thanks but no thanks they THEN proceeded to tell us "well i highly highly highly highly highly highly suggest you not drive on this the way it is" (I'm sure there were more 'highly's' thats just when we started counting) So down the street to NTB we went and they told us the brakes were just down to 5% left and they're supposed to make that sound.... and we asked them about the caliper and everything Mr. Tire said was wrong, and they looked at us like we were dumb and proceeded to tell us nothing was wrong with the car, it just needed new brake pads. So Mr. Tire... take that! and a lesson to all the other automotive places. Just cuz a girl comes in your store doesn't mean that HER daddy didn't teach her a thing or 2 about cars instead of just buying her a pretty one... read more

Unlike some of the other reviewers I wasn't offended by anything at this place unless it was the time it took to get an oil change and a nail removed from a tire. I was able to schedule an appointment online, confirmed by their call to me, and when I got there only one other person was waiting. A retired woman who evidently takes her care there for service. They seemed polite to her and didn't appear to have overcharged her for things. Nor did they seem to be trying to sell her anything. My experience was not all that great. I was greeted quickly, and my car was on the lift within five minutes of my arrival. However, then the time warp set in. Three workers tried to remove the oil filter by hand and couldn't and commented to each other. What were they expecting? Anyway, the oil filter and oil were removed about 15 minutes after I got there. The tire was removed about 30 minutes after I got there. Shortly thereafter I got the usual pitch for services I don't want (flush fluids, new brakes, new filters). Sorry, guys, but I just wanted a quick oil change while I got a nail removed. For actual work I'll go to my regular mechanic. While I was waiting a woman came in to say that her Mini-Cooper's oil light kept coming on since getting her oil changed here. She'd done some internet research that intimated that they'd thrown away a part when they changed the oil. Hopefully Messers Tire still had the part or could get a replacement. Anyway, to cut to the chase, it took about 75 minutes to get in and get out. The car makes some odd noises now, but it's my wife's car and those noises might be normal. I'm hoping she'll say "that's the sound the wheel always makes when I turn it" and I won't have to amend this to say things like the other reviewers. read more

I purchased tires from this location with a warranty stating they would fix any flat any time they occurred. I have had three flats in two years and on all occasions was told I needed to make an appointment for some later date. What is the point? If you have a flat you need it managed on the same day. I will not make the same mistake with my next purchase of tires. read more

One star is too many stars for this company. I tried to complain to the BBB about them (first time in my life I went that far with a company) but they already have an "F rating". Long story short, they installed "new" tires for me and I had to return about six different times to get one of them fixed. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, and had sold me discontinued tires so couldn't even replace it. They finally gave me a tire that does not match the rest. On top of bad mechanics, they consistently had to cancel my appointment, and my car was never ready when they promised it. read more

I'd been putting of getting my tire looked at for months because I wasn't sure where to go. Finally, I got online and easily scheduled an appointment at Mr Tire. It was so easy to go online, pick a time and later receive an email confirmation. At 11am on Saturday, I dropped of my car and by 1:30 had a new tire and tire sensor for a reasonable price. Absolutely disgusted by this companies dishonesty. I have been going to this location for years (like an idiot). I will not go back. I took my car in for a new tire and when I picked it up, everything was removed from my center console. I was taken aback by a repairman rummaging through it but knew there was nothing in there of value so I let it go. I just took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and because my front tire pressure was low. I was in viewing distance from my car and thought it was odd that the oil change was done within 25 minutes. At no time did I see one tire come off the car. The guy pulled my car out and told me the low pressure light would reset after driving a bit because the same tire showed low. Needless to say, I had to fill the tire myself and that new tire I bought previously was in the same location. I called the store and the manager insisted the technician rotated the tires. I asked how if the same tire that was low when I pulled in was low when I pulled out and in the same location. He had no answer. It's a shame they lost a customer that has been going there for years. read more

These guys are great! I recently came in for a tire repair, and they were really efficient, got it done quickly and for a reasonable price. Very friendly and straightforward. I also had an experience with them more than a year ago, where my partner's tire had a problem with the sensor, and that time they were *riiiiiight* about to close but they helped us anyway and fixed the problem for no charge at all. I went there for wheel alignment and replacing air-filter. The manager, Mark, gave me a discount on air-filter(was 54.99 and now 15.99). He also gave me a free brake inspection. The service was done in about an hour, sooner than I expected. And they even mounted the license plates for free and considerately put the tags on (I was using a temp plate and I just got the new plates from BMV). Yeah....will not be returning here again. I took in a tire that had been punctured for a patch up. $20...great. not a bad deal. They have it done within 30 min.....during those very long 30 min I had to listen to the managers life story on how his wife left him and his gf turned 2nd wife took half his inheritance and now he is stuck paying off his dentures at Mr. Tire. Tire gets put back on...I leave...great. the next day I'm back because the tire pressure light comes on and I want them to check and I'm told its just that the light needs reset. Fine, whatever....Five days later I'm back with the tire almost completely flat. Its an Odyssey...belongs to my employer....I am his full time nanny. I have three kids with me. I walk in and from the manager.."what did you run.over this time?"....I tell him the issue and I'm told it could take a while.....really?...come on. There were two cars in the garage, four mechanics and one person waiting in the store. So he says he'll do what he can. While we're waiting he precedes to ask "are those ALL your kids?" ....as if its any of his business...THEN he says that if I have stuff to do they can call when they finish up the van....really? Where am I going to go on foot with three kids in tow? One being a 16 month old. Seriously? .... Then the manager goes into the garage and lights up a cigarette and stands there for a few minutes puffing away. I look around in disbelief because.....well...oil? Gas? Any of these things seem safe to smoke around? Ten minutes later I'm done....so my 'going to take a while' turn twenty min job is done and we happily leave....and will never return. read more

One star is too many. What started as a simple oil change and tire rotation has turned into 3 separate visits because of something they did to the tire(s) that they won't admit to. They first tried to tell me that I needed all new calipers - nope I'll go to my regular mechanic for that (who ended up only replacing my break pads under warranty), then after I picked my car up from Mr Tire after the rotation my steering wheel started to shake, they tried to tell me that it was normal wear and tear - how is that possible when I just had new tires put on a few months prior??? He wanted to charge me to balance the tires even though they are new and had been recently put on! THEN I get the car back, and the entire car is shaking when driven on the highway!!! I take it back a 3rd time for him to tell me that it needs a new tire; their is something wrong with one of them - what?! How did you not notice this before?! Thank you Mr Tire for your courtesy tire rotation!!!! Oh an the $200 bill that was just supposed to be an oil change. Everything else was fine before I went to them!!! In summary, they are just trying to get money from you and I am quite convinced that they don't even work on your car. OR they are major liars and try to steal your money. Or both. read more
