This place is a joke. They left me sitting in the waiting room after showing up for my 3:00 appointment on time (early, actually) for well over an hour, not once bothering to tell me they were running behind/short staffed until I finally went to the shop door to ask if my car was almost done, only to be told they hadn't even pulled it into the shop yet. I was stunned. They couldn't have been less professional. I gave shared some "unprofessional" language of my own, grabbed my keys and left. I'm NEVER going back to this horrible excuse for a "service" business ever again, and wouldn't recommend anyone else waste their time or money at this dump either. Plenty of other oil service businesses around. This was already their 2nd change to earn my business after jerking me around a couple of years ago. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice... Gave this place one last try to get my "free" rotation since I bought my tires here. After one hour past my Appt time (for the 3rd try) my car had not been touched. This place is horrible. I wouldn't buy tires here if it was the last place in town . They have previously rotated and balanced my tires that shook worse than before they touched the car and then when I went to a different Goodyear in Nashville I was told that the Goodyear in covington (Hwy 21) did not balance them correctly, horrible horrible service - if you can even get it. Today I purchased and had all 4 tires replaced on my truck. I was scheduled to be the first and I was. I had two techs doing the work and the job was done in about 50 minutes and I was out of there. I am technically inclined and I observed them do the job which they did expertly and efficiently. Now the tires were on the high side, but you get what you pay for. Wrangler Steadfast HT, 70,000 mile warranty. They ride very smoothly so time will tell about their durability but internet reviews are very good, reason why I made the purchase. So overall, my experience was excellent. This was my second time making a purchase at this store and as I recall, that visit was also excellent even though that visit was 15 years ago. read more

We were in a tight pinch while traveling with our RV from Georgia on our way to Texas. We had a blow out with one of our crappy Chinese tires that comes with the camper originally. We knew we needed to go ahead and get the rest of our tires replaced before we got back on the road for safety and peace of mind. We called and they fit us in right away, it was a Sunday so we were really surprised but so grateful because we didn't want to hold up our travel plans. Very unprofessional at this location and I was told that he was doing me a favor by refunding me for a tire I bought a day ago that was defective and left me stranded on side the road. Also upon picking my car up they didn't review a few issues they discovered while balancing and rotating my tires. I had to call back and ask questions about things noted on my invoice. This shop is not proactive in helping costumers at all. My cousin works for the one in Kenner and I never had a problem with that location. Pass this place up... Sams and Firestone! read more

This place has the shittiest customer service. We went in for alignment and to replace tie rods and rotors. It took them less than an hour which I find odd. They told us it might take a few. The correct address is 70447 South Taylor Street or Hwy 21, Covington, LA. So I am driving on a road trip on July 03, one day before independence holiday and my cars check tire pressure light came up. I did stop and pumped air at a gas station, but the damn light still won't go off. So I searched and only Goodyear is close by and OPEN! I called the office and the manager on duty was kind and polite, even after the second call when I could not find the place due to incorrect address shown on Yelp. After finally finding the place, a technician Victor looked at all four tires, filled everything to the correct pressure and reset the car computer. So it's just a false alarm, and was what I anticipated (computer not used to the 'new' temperature pressure in Louisiana), but it was good to have someone professional to confirm it especially on a road trip on independence holiday. I chatted with the manager and learned this place has only been around for 3 months. But they do really good work and are very very friendly. I brought my truck in to have them locate and fix a antifreeze/coolant leak. They gave me an estimate of 417$ to FIX the leak. I gave the okay to fix it, I get my truck back to find out it is still leaking fluid. I bring it back in that week and they tell me it's going to cost me $238 to fix it.... I already paid to have it fixed and you didn't fix it and now you're going to make me pay more money... also they will upcharge you a lot for parts they order, two hoses from the dealer cost 64$ and 55$.
