He recommended additional service based on my mileage but not pushy or hard selling. I'll be back! I wish Mavis.com would have kept the "My Garage" feature on its website when they acquired NTB. Very impressed with the service here. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and got me taken care of quickly. I appreciated that they were open on a Sunday. They repaired my damaged tire valve stem with a quality repair and even gave me back my TPMS sensor because it was still in good shape and could be reused. I also got a quote for new tires and found their pricing to be very competitive. My service technician Blake was honest and helpful -- I'll definitely be returning. read more

Collins Blvd. Covington La. Had an early appointment for an oil change and tire rotation so I could get in and out quickly. I got there about 15 minutes early and there was one vehicle being worked on. The service writer verified all my info as I made the appointment on line. As I sat in the front waiting area. The boom box music in the service area was blasting with the deep base. Mind you it's 8:45 in the AM. I also noticed there was only one mechanic and he kept coming up to the front like he needed something but appeared like he was in need of assistance. Meanwhile the service writer started a personal phone conversation that lasted about 15 minutes laughing and cakaling over the boom box noise. After sitting for 45 minutes I decided to peak out the store front glass and my car was still sitting there untouched Maybe I'm getting a little old but my senses kicked in and I had a bad vibe. I proceeded to ask the service writer for my keys and left. I deal with this store and use it exclusively for all my vehicle's maintenance. I will be looking elsewhere from here on in as it's definitely changed since my last visit. read more

They do good work, however if you aren't in the mood to be made to feel stupid or less than, I would recommend going somewhere else. I have been to this place 3 times first and second time for a complete break job, after both visits I felt embarrassed and made fun of. I figured I'd give it another shot maybe it was a rough week for them and it's right by my house. Today the guy was so rude I chose to just leave and get it done somewhere else. i would give a zero if possible. brought my vehicle to NTB for an oil change. The female service advisor was professional. Had 9am appointment. Ran some errands with my husband. We dropped the vehicle off before 9 am. I returned at 10:50am my vehicle parked exactly where I parked it. The female service advisor stated my vehicle will be attending to soon. my vehicle was completed 11:20am. When I reviewed my bill I noticed I was charged for 6 quarts of oil. My 2019 Ram 1500 5.7 litter takes 7 quarts. I allowed my vehicle to sit for several minutes to check my oil. per the oil dip stick my vehicle was 1 quart low. Now I can't be sure the tech even looked at the oil cap to see the weight oil my vehicle takes or I got the oil I paid for. I paid $125 for a tech that can't check the specs to make sure I don't burn my engine up because of his stupidity. read more

We were just told there is a two hour wait. There was not a car in the parking lot or in the garage and not one tech was working. They were all just sitting around. Wish there was a way to contact the owner because I'm sure they do not know about this. Sad. read more

I came into this location on 7/13/22 and stated that I was having an issue with my car shutting off because my battery was not stable. I left my car at ntb and the manager Jeremy stated that he would call after a diagnostics was completed on my car. After a long day of waiting I decided to call the location at 5. Jeremy stated that he did call, but it was not the correct number so when i went in I verified my phone number. He explained that I needed to replace the parts that stabilize my car's battery and that they need to be ordered from the dealership. I stated that this would be fine and I would like to pay for the parts and labor on that day 7/13. I left my car at the location on 7/14 no one called with any update on my car, so I called again and they stated that the parts had not come in but i could take the car and they would call me on Friday 7/15 when my parts came in. On Friday no one called, so i assumed that the parts were not received. On Saturday 7/16 no one called either. At this point i became frustrated. The location was closed on Sunday. On Monday 7/18 i called the location and they stated that the parts were received on Friday 7/15 and they could help me on 7/20. I stated that that was too long and I insisted that I receive my service on 7/19. I called on 7/19 at 7:45am and explained the situation to the service manager Luke, I let Luke know that i was greatly disappointed in the customer service and as a customer of over 10 years that this was the worse service i have every received at ntb. Luke went on to inform me that if i was looking for something for free he could issue a refund and i could take my services elsewhere. I was appalled, i paid for my services 6 days prior and i just wanted to have my vehicle serviced, as it was unsafe to drive. He explained that they could assist me at 8:30 this morning (7/18) when i got to the location at 8:29 i spoke with Jeremy and I let him know that Luke was very rude to me and i wasn't sure if i felt comfortable with him working on my car. He stated that Luke was not rude (and that he heard the conversation, but when i called and asked to speak with him Luke stated that Jeremy was in a meeting) and that my car was not unsafe. I told him that Luke stated I could take my car elsewhere and he replied by saying well we can give you a refund. I then told Jeremy that I could not believe how bad the customer service was at this location, and that i usually frequent the courses blvd and mandeville locations. (this was my first time at the covington location) I explained that i just wanted my service completed because i had been inconvenienced for long enough. My service ended up being completed in about 15 minutes but after the long tussle and terrible customer service from Jeremy and Luke, I will not be returning to this location. read more

I went up NTB today, which was a Sunday, because on Google/Apple maps, this was the only place open and I was able to make an appointment on the NTB website. I imagine that the person working, most likely the manager, was already frustrated due to someone else just being there, probably for the same reason but that's not a reason to be short with a past customer nor make them feel bad by saying" we've been closed every Sunday for the past 2 1/2 years". For the information for the Manager/Owner, I was able to look on a cell phone and see that you were open, along with being able to make an appointment for today. When I said to the worker ( or manager) that it showed they were open online, not an acknowledgement that the website said they were open online or an apology was given that the website was wrong nor a hey thanks, we'll get that fixed was offered. Instead, I left with the same attitude that was shown to me-angry and upset. read more

AlwYs great service. I have gone to national tire and battery since they first open as tire Kingdom. Probably have bought 6 to 8 sets of tires. My wife's car is new and got a nail in one tire. NTB fix the tire. Next morning, had another flat in the same tire. pump the tire up and brought it back to NTB. Apparently we had another leak from another nail that did not stay in the tire. NTB fix it, thanked us for coming back and said no charge. This place always has good service. read more

My sons car all of a sudden was making noise. NTB was right across the street. He left it there for 3 days. To change 6 spark plugs it was going to cost 711.00. The iginition coil (1) was going to cost another 200.00. The next morning i called around and got estimates of 350.00 and 400.00. When we went to pick up the car they tell us the battery is dead and its been dead since he brought it in. How convenient! We bought a battery and left. I spent about 100.00 on parts and we did it ourselves. While they did not overcharge on the battery and labor fees are 116.00/hr. They were trying to double and triple charge on the parts. 30.00 for ea spark plug which cost 15.00, I bought for 6.00 ea. 200.00 for a coil which sells for 45.00 at auto part store. They may be good for Tires and battery's but stay away from engine repaires! read more

Went there for an alignment and all went well, great service. Left there and truck drove kind of funny like it was loose on the road. Went back a week later due to truck being in the body shop for minor repairs. The guy at front counter was rude as all get out. It's like dude if you hate your job that much then go find another one or crawl in a hole or something. Really wish there were negative stars or something. Would have never spent my money here in the first place if I had known this. You can bet that I'll start all over at another shop though!!! read more

Blowout on a country road on a Saturday afternoon. Called NTB and 1) they quickly answered the phone and 2) were friendly and accessible and 3) confirmed they had my tire in stock and got me in even though they were booked. Got a tow to the shop (yay AAA!) and had a pleasant, socially distanced and safe wait. I'm not one to rave about getting a tire repaired but in this case, I told all my friends. These guys used to be good guys, but the people have changed, and they are now heavily incentivized to nickel and dime every customer. They want every dollar you will spend, and use company hard sales tactics on you, and prey on the unaware and weak. I do not trust these guys at all anymore. Take your business elsewhere. read more

If you want to be told you need a new tire because an easily fixed tire can't be fixed & no other tire repair will repair it, this is the place for you. If you want it fixed drive a little further into Covington, 45min later I was putting freshly fixed tire back on the vehicle. read more

This place is garbage, if I could give it no stars I would. I stood around with 3 other patrons for 10 minutes with no acknowledgement, while a manager walked back and forth past us and proceeded to sit at the computer, still no acknowledgement. Then a mechanic finally asked "what you need". Then once my battery was tested I sat around another 10 minutes and finally left out of frustration. Didn't want to believe the bad talk I'd heard around town since the conversion to NTB, but now I've seen it with my own eyes. read more

I had an appointment time of 2-3 pm, arrived at 2:45, after getting lost because I am from out of town. I called to ask where they are located, left on hold for 10+ minutes while I was riding up and down the road trying to find them. By the time they picked up to talk with me, I had found them. Walked in and they didn't have an appointment for me. Then they said my time was at 2 and I was late. Waited 1 3/4 hour to be serviced, then finally asked for my keys so I could leave. Received a call a couple of hours later to let me know they didn't give me my tire lock key. I have to go back to pick that up before I can get my tire fixed. I was the only one in the waiting area for all that time. I don't know where the people were whose car they were working on, but you might think they would service someone waiting in their waiting area, especially for so long. I can't comment on their performance because no work was ever done. read more

As long as I've been a member of Yelp, this is my first review. On my way from New Orleans to Mississippi, I ran over something in the road and it caused me to have a blow out. I called around to the nearest tire shops and no one seemed to have my tire size. NTB of Covington did! Russell was amazing. He was extremely helpful, attentive, and just an overall Great Spirited guy. After replacing my tire, the tire light on the dash was still lit. Russell then checked each tire, put the appropriate amount of air in each tire according to the car, and checked the sensors to ensure they were all working. What was the most amazing part about Russell, was that he called me about 30 minutes after I had left NTB just to see how I was doing and if the light had gone off. I was in complete and utter shock that he called and checked on me. I appreciate you Russell, just wanted to share with the Yelp world! read more

Went in early on a Sunday morning to get a tire replaced on a loose rim. I dropped it off and picked it up about an hour later. Super fast service, and everyone there was very friendly. Horrible service and very unprofessional. I received a quote for four tires during a promotion and was told the promotion lasted the remainder of the month. I returned a few days later within the same month to make my purchase and was told the promotion ended the day prior. The store would not honor my quote even though the provided me with incorrect information regarding the promotion. read more
