I know for a FACT that these guys are liars and crooks. I went in for a state inspection and tire rotation and wanted a TPMS (tire pressure monitor sensor) replaced. 600 miles away and the TPMS warning comes on the dashboard again. I go to a nearby garage, get it looked at, and find out that Good Year never put the TPMS in the tire but they did charge me for one! Maybe on larger repairs they give a square deal but beware, on the smaller ticket items, they are looking to upcharge in whatever way they can. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! read more

The day before leaving for a beach trip, we realized the back tires on our car were beyond bald. We frantically looked for a place that was able to get us in, (On a Saturday!) between places laughing in our faces or dismissing us without even a glance, we thought of this Goodyear. Any time I have called this business, in an emergency tire situation, they did everything they could to work Me in. The staff is open and honest about all repairs and try to help you locate parts if need be. My overall experience is a 5+ rating because of the excellent service they provide. read more

I had an air leak in one of my tires. Goodyear was able to fix it no problem, as well as change my oil and my air filter for an extremely responsible price. I had my car in today for service and a state inspection. Everyone was friendly and professional.

Complete ripoff. DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I've seen 3 unhappy customers since I've been waiting here 2 hours for state inspection and I'm one of them.***UPDATE***The failed inspection was due to brake drums in the rear of my truck. I took it to my mechanic four days later and he said he had all four wheels off and didn't see one thing wrong with my brakes. He also told me I was the third person who had come to him from a bunk fail from Goodyear on 221 in Forest...IF THEY REJECT YOU TRY SOMEONE HONEST. I've had yet another state inspection and brakes STILL passed. ***SECOND UPDATE*** Passed inspection again!!! Brakes are STILL fine! 3rd inspection since they claimed I needed drums! read more

This is the worst customer service I have ever had for a company that relies on its customers. I walked in just to get a state inspection and there was no one at the desk. After standing for 3 minutes a guy stuck his head out a window and said he would be with me in a second. After 15 minutes I said the hell with it and left. read more

I just left this shop and couldn't have asked for better service! It seems most of the world is lacking real salt of the earth people lately but that is all I found here. Paul and George squeezed me in at the last part of the day when I was in a pinch for help with my tire. Paul was willing to explain the process and gave great suggestions for future tires that would work best with my vehicle. He wasn't pushy, which I appreciated, and seemed to be a subject matter expert. He gave good recommendations and I now know where I will be purchasing my next full set of tires very soon. This place took forever for a state inspection and then overcharged me for 2 wiper blades that they claimed I needed to pass the inspection. They will scam you! Took over an hour-and-a half for TWO WIPER BLADES. Customer service was not knowledgeable, and there were several people waiting for a long time. read more

Just watched a video on scamming oil change/auto service centers, reminded me of my experience with this Goodyear location on 221 in Forest. I know a lot about cars, and know when I'm being lied to. I was in for an oil change, and was told I needed brakes, as in pads and rotors, front and back. I knew this was complete b.s., but they stuck to their guns and swore it was true, that I had better do it right then and there, or they wouldn't be responsible for what might happen when I left. I actually do my own brake jobs, know my car, and knew they were complete liars. I left and drove straight to Monroe on Timberlake Rd. (honest guys), and they said that I would need front pads some time soon, but the rotors and rear pads were fine. Goodyear on Forest Road/Rt. 221, in Forest, just up from Graves Mill Center, is a dishonest, scamming, lying business. Do NOT go there, under any circumstances. If you break down on the road in front of their building, get a tow somewhere else. Lying, crooked scammers. DO NOT GO HERE. Oh, by the way, they wanted over $600.00 for this. I had a coupon for a free State Inspection and I was really worried that they would nail me on everything because otherwise they wouldn't get any money! Nope, they passed everything and very politely talked me through things that may need fixing in a couple months. They weren't pushy at all and didn't even ask for my business then. These guys will scam you! I had my vehicle inspected by them. It was my first time going there. They failed my vehicle and presented me with a quote of nearly $600.00 worth of repairs before they could pass the vehicle. I knew something wasn't right so I took it right away to the honest guys who normally do my inspections, and it passed with no problems. Do not trust these scam artists!! read more

We've been to this place twice & both times we have been disappointed. The first time they messed up a wheel bearing when rotating our tires (cost us hundreds of dollars to get it fixed). The second time we had an appt for an inspection & oil change. We waited a hour & they finally worked on our car. I was however impressed with the Store's Manager who followed up with us & provided a refund for some coupons. Mike was very nice & helpful. read more

In follow up to my other review about this location: I took my vehicle to another repair shop and lo, and behold, the problem which Goodyear stated I had was not the problem at all. While I still had to fork over some dollars to get a repair made, it was not the over $500.00 quoted by Goodyear. Try $189.00. Too bad the manager would not listen to me. read more

I gave this one star because negative stars are not an option. I can't believe these guys are still open. My wife had a slow leak in her right front tire and she mistakenly took it to Goodyear to have it looked at. I had told her Harris in Forest, but she was thinking we dealt with Goodyear in the past. We did - several years ago to have RV tires put it on and they were the only ones who had a bay that would accommodate it. Since then we've had nothing but a series of encounters where they have shown extreme dishonesty and outright fraudulent behavior. Case in point - back to the story of the slow leak. The Michelin tires on my wife's car have less than 5,000 miles on them and look new. They told her that the tire with the leak had a nail in the side wall and couldn't be repaired. They recommended that both tires be replaced - not a bad idea to replace in pairs when they NEED to be replaced - and that the back tires are worn also (only have about 15,000 miles on them - Michelin with excellent tread) and, lo and behold, they'd give her a great deal if she bought 4. Fortunately, she didn't fall for it. I took the car to Harris in Forest this morning - they just called me back. They removed the nail in the tire (NOT in the sidewall) total bill - $8. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO GOODYEAR FOR SERVICE OR TIRES - They WILL try to cheat you. read more

Two problems two different vehicles two different times. First took car in for inspection, they failed because or emergency brake light in dash, which worked that morning, offered $160 repair. I declined took home and found the socket had been unplugged from brake paddle. Hume Vehicle two, during inspection and tire rotation they stripped the lock nut on my trucks factory wheels, after waiting over 2 hours I received truck and noticed one lug was very different (stuck out 1" past wheel) I went back in and asked if they lost my lock nuts? The manager replied no, went outside and agreed the lugs nut was incorrect. After another 30 min he said the tech stripped the factory nut and they replaced as courtesy with aftermarket nuts. I asked that they replace with the factory locking nuts that were on it when I pulled in. After much attitude and more time and another manager. They agreed to pay after I go to Chevy dealer, purchase and return with receipt...Really. More time I have to spend for their mistake. They have the worst working culture, bad attitude, and seem to scam when and where they can. Beware, there's a reason they send out so many coupons, they wil get their money. read more

We have had an extremely frustrating experience and will not return or recommend this place to anyone. We just bought 4 brand new tires for our mini van a week and a half ago. The guy that was working (I believe his name is Paul) when we got the tires was super friendly and helpful. This past Monday, on my way to an appointment for work, I got a flat tire. Upon further inspection, we realized it was because when the tire was installed they didn't tighten the valve stem cap so my tire leaked out all the air while I was driving 70mph on 460. When I called, the woman who answered was not overly helpful nor did she seem apologetic or concerned. I told her we were bringing the tire that night to have it fixed, re-inflated, and mounted. She told me there was absolutely no way they could get to it that night and I would have to wait until the morning because they had to finish what they were working on for the night. We drove over there and informed them they were going to at least fix the tire and we would have it remounted ourselves (which we had to pay for, btw). The next day, my husband then realized there was a giant bulge in the tire from where it had been flat. I promptly returned to Goodyear and informed them I needed my tire replaced. The same woman was at the counter when I returned. When I explained the situation, again, she stated "oh, because you hit the tire on something?" No...no I did NOT hit the tire on something. YOUR PEOPLE didn't do their job properly and now I have missed SEVERAL appointments for work because of their negligence. She went to speak with her manager and when she returned, informed me he was "nice enough" to replace our tire at no cost to us, but they wouldn't be able to get to it until the following afternoon. When I dropped it off this morning, Paul was working again and he told us that he had heard about our situation and said that they would absolutely take care of it because it was the right thing to do and that whoever installed our tires would be having a nice chat. THAT is how you handle this situation. The only reason this review even has more than one star is because of Paul. I will never do business there again for any reason. read more
