Had the oil changed in my old bone crusher the other day and it was done before I could get comfortable on the bench outside. I asked that my tires not be rotated because past experience has taught me to make sure the tire screw on things get reattached and they were. I was out of there so fast and the change oil light on the dash was off... so all is well. It had to be done and I'm good with the cost. My daughter went to get the oil changed before heading out of state to school. When they heard she was driving back to school they checked her tires added coolant and checked everything they could to make sure she was good to go. Absolutely shocked and disgusted with the lack of business ethics and customer service values from the manager at this Jiffy Lube location in Madison Heights. I took my company vehicle to them to get my oil changed and my tires rotated on Friday 10/10/23. I drove it home and parked it in my driveway at the end of the work day just like I always do every single week. I woke up on Monday 10/16/23 and noticed that there was a decent-sized puddle of oil underneath the car. I immediately checked the oil dipstick to see where it was at and it showed to be close to less than a quart low. My plan was to drive it back up to them so that they could look at it that morning to figure out what had caused that to happen while it sat in my driveway over the weekend. So I started the vehicle up and let it run for about 10 min or so while I went back inside my house to finish getting what I needed to go to work that day. When I walked back outside I noticed that the car was sputtering and that puddle of oil had more than doubled in size. I looked underneath the front of the car and saw a stream of oil pouring out of it. I immediately jumped in the vehicle and turned it off. I then called and spoke with someone at the Jiffy Lube in Madison Heights and told them what had happened over the phone. Their response to my situation was " I'm not sure what we can do about it but you'll probably need to speak with the manager and he's kinda busy right now." So I asked him if the manager could please call me back when he was able to and then we hung up. I waited for an hour and never heard back from them so I called my service manager to tell him what was going on and he told me to contact the mechanics that we use on a regular basis to work on our company cars when we have major issues or need repairs done to them. So I called the garage we use and spoke with a mechanic there who said that he thought I should get it towed to their garage for them to look at and to make sure nothing bad happens to the engine. While I was waiting for the company that was going to tow my company vehicle I realized that I needed to turn my car around so that they could get to it. I started it up just long enough to turn it around in my driveway and then immediately turned it off again. After moving it I could now clearly see the entire puddle area where the oil had leaked out and I noticed something that looked like shiny metal in between the gravel of my driveway where the oil had started to sink down. I reached down to pick it up and realized that it was the drain plug that had fallen out. When I had gotten my oil change Jiffy Lube must have not tightened it back like it should have been and so it ended up working its way out and falling into my driveway. So I quickly called my service manager and told him what I had found and he told me to cancel the tow so that we wouldn't have to pay for that since it was just the drain plug that had come loose and caused this problem. I told him that I could get my father-in-law to bring his jack over so that we could get the car off the ground and get the plug back in it and then go get the same exact oil that they used at Jiffy Lube to put back in it so I could make sure that the engine was ok and runs like it should. Once my father-in-law and I had done all that, we started it up and let it run for a bit then checked the oil to make sure it wasn't leaking anymore. The next day I drove my company vehicle to the Jiffy Lube in Madison Heights and after talking with the manager there, telling him what happened and showing him pictures of it too, he basically said that there was nothing they could do for me and there wasn't any way to prove that someone else didn't just get under my car and remove the drain plug!!! Can you even believe that??? Like I would really waste all of my time to sabotage myself and my company vehicle for an oil change??? So ridiculous and inexcusable... nobody wants to accept accountability for anything anymore and nobody has any moral values to do the right thing anymore. NEVER will I EVER take ANY of my vehicles to ANY Jiffy Lube location again. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Went there last week for oil change they took me right in so I went in the lounge I was the only one there so I figured I'd be done pretty quickly but no another car pulled after I had been there 10 minutes and they jumped on that car ( Female) so I asked the guy was my truck finished he said we haven't started so I asked for my truck back and left we have about 20 trucks in our fleet, sorry I wasn't important enough. read more

Took my car in for routine oil change. Supposed to check all fluid levels. One week after oil change had a low level washer fluid alert. When I went to add washer fluid the coolant level was below the fill level. Not happy and won't recommend read more

Excellente! I wish the Jiffy Lubes in my area were like this one. Wow--the guys were all super with me. I'm scared to drive over the hole in the floor so they did it for me. The oil change was at lightening speed. They offered me a few things that I considered but didn't need during that particular visit and since I don't actually live in the area, I probably won't have done there. However, a day later and after considering it all, I think I might have some work done to it the next time I visit my mother. I trust these guys with my car, and the manager made sure all was right when I left. I'd say this location has some really good management with this type of service, and that really impresses me. read more

I needed the batteries replaced for charging my phone. The manager said they ran out of time and set me to a competitor. My batteries got replaced at no charge and I am no longer a Jiffy Lube customer. read more

A great experience all around--clear and helpful over the phone, friendly and courteous in person; in and out VERY fast (considering all the things I had them do to my truck) and in reviewing the bill (very clearly itemized) I feel like everything was charged out at a very fair price. This jiffi lube is clearly run very well by someone who has the respect of their employees. Professionalism and friendly service start-to-finish I also watched how the several female customers who came in while I was there were treated with the utmost curtesy and respect. They were not talked down to or bullied into service that they did not need. I would send my girlfriend or mother in to see these guys by themselves without any hesitation. read more

The customer service was great. We've had several oil changes without a problem. My husband had them replace our windshield wipers and they were streaking with the first rainstorm. He went by there and they put new wipers on and tested them. We checked them as well. Perfect! Two weeks later, they are streaking again. Bad batch of wipers or cheaply made product? From this point forward, I will purchase and install the wipers. Highly recommended for oil changes though. Update: EXTREMELY PLEASED with the way this was addressed. Moved my ratings from three stars to five. Jiffy Lube really wanted to make sure we were happy. Customer service should have ten stars!! read more

It's called Jiffy Lube for a reason. Man were they fast! I brought my car in to check the oil because I don't know how to do it and I haven't checked it since I bought it 6 months ago. I was embarrassed and scared. They made me feel so comfortable, they taught me how to check my oil, my transmission fliud, check my tire pressure and how to check and fill my wiper fluid. These are things I have always wanted to learn but to embarrassed to ask anyone. All my fluids were fine. I didn't have an apt and I needed an oil change they fit me in and got it done right away. Now I am set up on a schedule for my oil changes. These guys are amazing. I recommended them to my grandma!!! read more

I have gone to this jiffy lube probably a dozen times resulting in minor frustrations, but not until recently did they do something so egregious that I felt it needed posting. Two weeks ago, I asked them to recharge the (working but not spectacular) AC on my van before a long road trip to Florida. They instead completely destroyed it. Since I had no time to fix it before my trip I had to cram my family into our smaller vehicle for the eleven hour road trip and now I have to pay $$$ to have the van AC repaired somewhere else. After reading the other reviews of this location in Madison Heights and having had 1 successful visit in a timely manner compared to other locations I decided this was the place for me. Took my sons car in last week. In addition to oil had the air filter changed as recommended. Driving home kept hearing a rattling sound under hood. Checked and found filter housing not secured & no filter in it at all. Drove back to Madison Heights all the way from Evington, Virginia. They put a filter in and wrote off as an anomaly. Brought my personal car in two days later, filter needed changed and approved along with oil change. I stated, "Did you actually change my air filter this time.?" I was assured they would not do that to me again. Driving to work this morning and I had a check engine light come on. My Mechanic checked out to air flow problem. Looked under hood, housing was not secure and guess what, no filter on this car either. Furious is an understatement. Took off work and back to Jiffy Lube shop. They put one in and reset check engine light. I calmly expressed my disappointment in them and told them I worried about future problems with the sensors having unfiltered air hit them all weekend long. (My mechanic told me that would be a $300.00 repair/replacement) I told them they had a problem with their procedures and wondered how many other cars unknowingly are running around without filters. They didn't seem concerned. No apology. No offer of refund or compensation for two unnecessary trips to Madison Heights. Just let them know if I had any more problems with the check engine light. Seemed to be no big deal do them. It is and was a big deal to me. They have lost my trust. I cannot recommend this Jiffy Lube and hopefully I discovered their mistakes prior to damaging my engine. I can only hope my oil filter and oil actually got changed. read more

Eddie the manager met us as we drove in. He was super friendly from the git go. Explained everything they did in their service of my truck. He told me it would take 15 minutes. My mistake was, I didn't believe him. We were out in 15 minutes. My truck cost more to change oil than any other vehicle I've previously owned, but when I got in the truck I told my wife who was with me; "at least he made it fun". I live in MD and it may just well be worth the drive back to Madison Heights VA for my next oil change. Thank you Eddie and thank you JL. Merry Christmas. read more
