My husband advised my son to just have them fill it with coolant and see if he could make it back to school. They brought him out to the garage and showed him that is was pouring out of the radiator when they filled it. He left and bought extra coolant for the way back. That was 3 weeks ago another trip to Richmond and a drive home to St. Louis, and there are no leaks or issues since. They saw a college kid with parents out of state and thought they were going to scam him out of thousands of dollars.

Today I went to get my car checked out for a right headlight that was out. When I received my car…read moreback, I found that the left blinker was going faster than usual on my dashboard. I ended up looking the cause up on my phone and there were two factors: 1.) the light may not be hooked up properly or 2.) the bulb was burned out. I ended up calling this location and they stated they would look at it and if the bulb burned out, they would replace it, no charge. I ended up taking it back today and they replaced it, but stated that the bulb had burned out. So my line of thinking is that if this morning they had replaced my headlight and I know that my car is an old model; a mechanic would look at the left light to compare the wiring (if they did not know how to replace the other headlight). When this happened, they might have forgotten to connect the blinking light bulb. When I had taken it back, I was met by a manager and two techs, one whom had replaced one of my headlights before. I am glad that they had taken the time out of their busy schedule (because there were a lot of cars needing attention to fix this issue). I ended up finding out it was a burnt out bulb; however, I found it a bit odd how it could have burned out the around the time my right headlight burned out and on the same EXACT day that I had taken my right headlight to be fixed. I must be one really unlucky driver. I will never know because I cannot go into the garage when mechanics are working nor can I see video evidence in the garage of how mechanics are fixing my car. I feel like the onus is always on the customer; however, at least it is fixed now. I like to think of this as a contribution to society. Because it was fixed, no matter the issue, other drivers on the road will know when I am making my left turn. This will save more lives, which is more important than $100 worth of labor and parts. Issue #2 - after the tires were balanced (which you pay for on a new set of tires) and the truck was aligned allegedly the truck now pulls hard and the steering wheel is not straight. issue #3- started to smell a burning smell the technician/s working on my truck spilled oil and they attempted to wipe it up , but did not tell me about it. I took my Jeep Wrangler to another shop in town to have a sensor that was giving me a brake warning light replaced. Next thing, they told me they'd have to replace the wheel assembly. Next thing, they told me they had broken off a bolt in the axle & I needed a new axle. Next thing, they told me it was not drivable. Then the price doubled because they had priced the axle wrong. Next thing, I got cranky & pissed them off. Suddenly, it was drivable and I should come pick it up. Oh, and by the way, it would be $100 for their trouble. I pissed them off some more & they told me to come get it & never darken their door again. I said no problem there! Just by dumb luck & some fairy godmother looking out for me, I picked these guys off of Yelp. Called, told them my story. They said you bet, bring 'er in! They looked it over, sent me photos of what they found, along with calls and descriptions and answers to my questions. Turns out, no broken bolt. No need for an axle. They communicated with me about every step. Sent pictures. Were pleasant, straightforward and gave alternatives when appropriate. They gave me rides to/from home and I didn't even have to ask! They offered! Amazing!!! They pulled the fat out of the fire for me and I am soooo incredibly, over the top, off the charts THRILLED to have blindly stumbled into a nest of bright, honest, honorable people who actually seem to give a damn about their customers & the reputation of their business! I would give this place less than 1 star…read more Documentation from all repair shops mentioned below can verify the following information. 1 - 02/2024 - I visited E/P on Boston Road to have my thermostat replaced - cost $400. 2 - 04/2024, I heard a rattle from the engine compartment. I took it to another repair shop who told me 'the bolts used to put the thermostat back on was the wrong size, were forced into the screw openings, & the internal threads for the screw hole had been stripped [I never thought impact wrenches were THAT strong]. The only place that touched anything regarding my heating system was E/P on Boston Road. 3 - I took the car back to E/P, showed them the results from the other repair shop, and spent significant time convincing them the work they had done on 02/224 was done incorrectly. As a result, E/P agreed to fix the problem for free. 4 - Flash forward to 12/2024; the heat quit blowing in my car again. I took it to another repair shop and was informed of the following: the last person who fixed the heating system did it wrong; they put in a thermostat that was WAY too small; the bolts to secure the thermostat was the wrong size, & all bolts were forced into the screw hole, and as a result, most of my heating system needs to be replaced [sans the heater coil]. 5 - When I informed the new repair shop of the work & then re-worked my car by E/P when I returned in 02/2024, they had only replaced ONE of the faulty-sized bolts. All four should have been replaced if all bolts had been forced into the wrong opening. E/P did not replace the other three that were too small & the incorrect size when I made them do a re-work in 04/2024. A $400 repair has now cost me close to $2,000. The new repair shop could forensically trace the problems back to the originating install. This significant financial impact should serve as a cautionary tale for potential customers. Given the information above, the decision is in your hands. Choose wisely, and good luck.
