Got to my tire rotation 2 hours after my appointment. Had the pleasure of watching this shop attempt to upsell every lady that came in. Who knew that 3 year old vehicles needed so many "flushes". Smh Go online, get good deals on tires here, but those free tire rotations will cost you some time. Please learn to change your own engine/cabin filters to avoid seeing what I just saw here for this poor lady. Use YouTube, buy your own filters and do it yourself. Ask your kids or neighbors. Still a good deal for tires, but I wouldn't do anything else here. And if you consider "financing" here then please slap yourself. Finance nothing, ever. But if you have to, then it better not be at a tire shop. Got to imagine there is some commissions or quotas here based on what I just witnessed. read more

I needed tires and they were the only ones willing to allow me a walk in appointment only to be overcharged for the two tires and told my left front wheel was about to fall off at any moment and it would only cost the tiny amount of $650 would I like to get it done that day, I called a real mechanic, and he assured me nothing was wrong with it and I'm still driving it to this day. Ordered tires for my car on a Wednesday and scheduled to have them installed on the following Monday at 8 AM. Talked to someone who assured me tires would be there and looked forward to seeing me Monday. On Monday, I got up earlier than usual, drove the 10 miles from my house to Frankfort, got there at 7:45 and door was open. Was greeted by J......, who went outside, looked at my car, then went to the garage for a few minutes to return and tell me that they had sold "my" tires to someone else, and could have more in the same afternoon. I did not make an 8 AM appointment to wait after they had sold my tires to someone else and they had scheduled my appointment. My time is worth something and I am furious. I will not go back to Tire Discounters, especially this location and do not recommend them. Customer is not important. Customer service sucks. read more

I stopped by for a tire rotation on a Saturday and was told that I needed to make an appointment, which I did for the following Tuesday. Arrived to my appointment, 30 minutes early and the guy checking me in was quite rude when checking me in, asked me what I was quoted to work on my truck. I told him and he said it would be a minute. After waiting for over two hours, they came back to me and told me that they couldn't work on my truck because it was lifted. I asked him why I wasn't told that before I made the appointment or even why I wasn't told when I arrived. He said he didn't know until he got it in to the bay. Mind you it had been in the bay for over 45 minutes at this time. Another guy had even came to ask where my wheel lock was, even though I had told them I had placed it in the cup holder for them. Overall, very unprofessional, very rude staff, definitely not happy about their jobs. I would have understood upfront if you had told me they couldn't work on my truck, but felt more like I was being booted because I wasn't buying tires, just paying for a rotation. Which I will say, is done free in Texas at our local big chain tire dealership. Needless to say, I wasn't the only customer to walk out that day disappointed with the service or attitudes of the staff. Being a chain store, they should have been professionals. Very disappointed and can guarantee that Tire Discounters have lost my business in the future. read more

I went here for a simple tire rotation, I was sitting there for about 15 minutes, which was a very fast and efficient service. However, when they were done rotating my tires, I watched three men PUSH my car out of the service bay, so I stood up and asked what was wrong. A mechanic came in with a nasty attitude and told the manager that the car wouldn't start, which there was no reason for, they literally only did a tire rotation and didn't even open the hood. So the manager went outside and started the car a couple times and came back in to give me the key, the car had no issue starting and never has! He told me my car was "too smart" for them, but it's a mid 2000s Toyota... all you had to do was have it in park and turn the key. So overall I don't know what exactly happened that day but If the mechanics are incapable of starting a car I sure don't want them working on it. This also left 6 greasy handprints on the hood of my freshly washed car. read more

. My wife went in for new tires last week. I am currently deployed. After getting $1200 worth of tires replaced, she drove off only to find that her vehicle was vibrating. After confronting TD, Frankfort, they refused to diagnose and claimed that there was a dent in her rim. She made an appointment for a second opinion at TD Lexington who were very friendly and fixed the problem which ended up being a balancing issue no dent, imagine that. Moral of the story? Go to Lexington TD and avoid Frankfort TD at all costs. This is not my first negative experience with Franfort TD. read more

The customer service that Jaime gave me when pricing out tires for me was good. However, during my service when they were putting my tires on. I was told that my drums "needed " cleaning but I didn't have the money at the time and all of a sudden I felt like I was pushed at the back of the line. Now, for some reason my tire pressure light is coming on after they put the tires on and I haven't had an issue prior to this. I hope it's just a sensor and they did not royally mess up my tires. read more

When I got to Tire Discounters, Jamie greeted me promptly after serving the customer in front of me. He explained that they were backed up but promised to have my tire fixed soon. Gotta say I'm pretty happy with how Tim and the crew took care of me today. In the midst of a 2100 mile road trip, the dry rot from sitting for three years was rearing it's ugly head. I just want to say that I love this place! I always get great and speedy service, the guys are always friendly and I've never once felt 'little ladied'. I come in yearly for an alignment and I'll always ask them to check something extra (i.e. serpentine belt, breaks, rotate tires, etc), they check it out and if it doesn't need to be replaced or fixed- they don't do it! No trying to charge me for stuff I don't need. More than once I've come in for my routine alignment and it's been close to perfect, so they discount it down twenty or thirty bucks. While they don't always have appointments available, they'll let me drop my car off after work in the morning (I work hospital night shifts) and just fit me in throughout the day so I can pick it back up before work later that night. Over all this place is great and I don't hesitate to say I'm confident in the quality of their work! read more

I had four tires replaced on my Lexus RX350 in December, 2017. The price of the tires was good (although these were not cheap tires), they were able to get me in quickly, and the technician I spoke with seemed knowledgeable. I was a happy camper. Fast forward to today. When I needed new brakes, I was told by my regular mechanic that the key for the lug nuts was missing. Of course Tire Discounters knew nothing about that, but who else had used it? I was also told that my axle boots were cracked when they took them off to replace the tires because they didn't take the time to unscrew everything properly and so they just broke the boots to get them off. Two years later, there's no way to prove that Tire Discounters was responsible or have them fix the problems they created. So just be aware of that when you buy tires from them. read more

These gentlemen are awesome. They've gained all my business from now on. Because I had a sensor go out on my car, I arrived at Big O before 3 pm only to be told they've already closed and no one would even look at my cars tires. I had just spent over $800 at the big O in Lexington. I will NEVER ever patronize another Big O. Discount Tires in Versailles fixed the issue and had me back on the road in less than half an hour. Reasonable prices, prompt service and fair treatment. The staff are polite and up front about costs. They don't try to upsell things you don't need. The store also offers great warranty programs. They offer a variety of tire brands as well. I think this a great tire shop and am happy to have such a good shop in town. read more

I went to TD on 03/08/23 to have two tires mounted and balanced that I purchased outside of the location. My car was making a noise in the front after the original tires were rotated. I called beforehand to make sure they could take care of it. First off when I got there I waited in the lobby for a good 10 minutes and they were not working on any other vehicles. They were standing around talking and finally someone comes out and asks me how he can help. So they finally take my car in. The noise didn't stop and I hadn't had a chance to take it back. On Saturday I noticed that the two new tires were indeed put on the back of the car when I asked for them to be put on the front and my receipt even says the front. I called today and they tell me to come in and they'll figure it out. I have NEVER been so disrespected in my life because I'm a woman. I spoke to a manager and he talked to me like I was an idiot. He informed me that the tires that were on the front were great, kind you he did not even drive it to listen to it nor did he take them off to look at anything. He automatically assumed I guess because I'm a woman i have no idea what I'm talking about. Now I don't have my two good tires that were taken off the car and I'm out another $300 for more tires and labor. I absolutely would not recommend going at all to this location. Never will use these jokers again. They break more than they repair and when they tell you can work out a deal, the deal is a joke. I had them replace the brakes and the passenger side cv axle. They broke the skid plate on our suv and their fix was to use tie wraps instead of clips. Also was told the other cv axle on the driver side was going bad. I told the guy they replaced that one last year. He said he could look up to see if it was still under warranty. I told I didn't have time, but I would be back. I came back a couple of days later and another guy was behind the counter. I told about the conversation I had with other guy. He looked to see when the cv axle was replaced and the warranty run out the previous month. I told the other guy said he could work out a deal with me. He said, "Yeah, I can tighten up the axle and ONLY CHARGE YOU LABOR." After using TD for years, I will never go back to them. I guess they believe their customers are stupid and will fall for their tricks. This was at the Frankfort, Kentucky shop. read more

I don't recommend this place. Bought my wife a set of expensive tires and they didn't last very long at all. Tried them again with my sons car and tires wore out in 8 months(1,600) miles. Took car back and ask them to explain why these tires wore so quickly. They responded with alignment is perfect but it's a camary and these cars have negative camber. Meaning they couldn't find anything. So they offered a $40 discount. Pitiful!!! read more

When I called he went over everything with me and went over, and showed me the different types and prices of tires when I went in. I couldn't have asked for better service. I went to Tire Discounters this week to set up an appointment and the man at the counter was helping another customer. I wandered around, sat down and watched tv - I was there for about 15 minutes until he finished. While waiting, a man came in and again wandered around, waiting. As the transaction finished up I stood up and walked toward the counter when the man behind the counter said "May I help you, SIR?" I said "really?", and he said he didn't see me. No apology, no I have to wait on her first, nothing. When I said I would take my business elsewhere, he said "ok". I will not be returning and suggested to friends that they also not go there. I sent my wife here because she badly needed a 4-wheel alignment after hitting a curb accidentally. I had seen their commercials on TV that stated that they provided a 4-wheel alignment when even just 1 tire was purchased. Their commercial said "because it is the 'right thing' to do." we needed 2 tires anyway so I thought it would be fine. Guess again... Not only did she end up paying nearly DOUBLE the price for 2 Cooper tires versus their competitors for the same tire, they did the old "upsell" for their super special road hazard warranty !!! They also "helped her out" by "only charging HALF price" for the 4-wheel alignment !!! When I inquired about these charges they were very defensive and dismissive and called their corporate headquarters in an attempt to push the "blame" off of them. I was told that we had missed the "promotion" date by a couple of weeks. Apparently it's the "right thing to do" but, only during a special "promotion." Since when does "the right thing to do" have an expiration date ??? Feeling very misled and that they took advantage of my wife's trusting nature. In all fairness they did offer to do a free 4-wheel alignment on my truck "if that would make you happy." Meh... We'll see what happens when I go in for that... read more

My son came down from Buffalo, NY to Kentucky for my dad/his grandfather's funeral and needed tires. We picked out all season tires and explained to the employees at Tire Discounters that we needed them do to where he lived. Due to trusting Tire Discounters and grieving we did not inspect the tires to make sure they were all season tires. After my son got back to Buffalo, NY and it snowed he realized the tires were summer tires. He called to explain what had happened to the Frankfort Tire Discounters location and they told him to drive back to Kentucky if he wanted to change the tires. They also told him they knew he would probably write a bad review and they would just delete it. There was no concern for his safety or an apology. This is the second review I have made. The first was taken down when they removed the Frankfort location from a Google search so it could be removed. Take your vehicle here at your own risk. read more

This is my second horrible experience with this store. My most recent was yesterday. I had made online appointment for two tires. Received a call from the store to confirm the appt and go over exactly what I wanted. Had my wife and daughter drop car off. Store manager Scott told them he had no appt and kept trying to up sell her on road hazard and extra items. She told the to replace front tires. When car was picked up they had replaced back tires. When I called them Scott said it was safer to have new tires on the rear instead of the front (it is a front wheel drive car) I told him that was not what we wanted. Had to take car back to shop. My daughter waited for over an hour for them to switch it back. During that time they kept trying to scare her about how unsafe her car was going to be. When she left the tire pressure monitoring light was on. She went back and they didn't inflate the new tires completely. Light is still on but going to try and reset over weekend. What a shady store. Would have been better going to Walmart and letting a 16 year old work on the car. read more
