As a single, older woman I appreciated the way they explained the difference in the tire design and feel the one they suggested was spot on. These new tires are providing a quieter, smoother ride. Came in on a Saturday morning around 8:30, I had new tires installed at a different tire shop and they could not put one of the lug nuts back on my tire due to an issue with the stud on the wheel. Originally Raben was going to replace the stud and quoted me $100 total, but once they got my car in, they were able to clean the stud and put the lug nut back on, only charged me $50. I was gone and on my way by 10:30. Would definitely come back for any other auto issues! read more

I should have paid attention to the reviews. I bought a set of tires from the Newburgh location based upon the warrantly, etc. but also because of a $50 rebate that was available for the tires. When I went to pick up my car and received the rebate form, I noticed that the rebate offer was not within the date that I purchased my tires. I brought this to their attention and was told BFGoodrich would honor it. Guess what. They didn't. read more

Have a hold of your wallet when you go in at Newburgh RABEN TIRE. Garage Mgr. Tom will give you several stores/quotes on repairs of your vehicle, all meaning you will pay more money out at the end. RABEN TIRE in NEWBURGH is extremely expensive to take your car for repairs. Best to shop around. Tom is not totally trustworthy. read more

Took them from 9am-4pm to change 2 rotors and they were extremely rude when I asked for a time frame of when it would be done! Then in the waiting room they were extremely rude to another customer because they didn't want 4 tires just 2. I will never be back here again for anything! This is the Newburgh location! Raben Tire in Newburgh has always taken care if all our tire needs. Today, I was in the middle of getting our boat ready when I discovered a bad tire on the trailer. I took in right before lunch. They could tell I needed it to get going on my boat project. They had the tire in stock and a guy at lunch mounted it and got me on my way so I could get the boat to the dealer to be serviced. I took my Truck in to get an Alignment on January 2016 after having a few things on the truck fixed. Picked it up that afternoon and it drove great. Did not pull or drift. Within 2 months it wall pulling hard to the left. I jacked it up and noticed the bolts to the upper control arms were lose. I had it towed back to Raben of Newburgh on March 2016. I was told by Tom that there was a 3 month warranty. I guess he cannot do math that was less than 3 months as he argued with me it was not under warranty after a brief discussion he agreed to realign the truck as long as II buy a 200.00 kit.SO i agreed to that. well now you're wondering why it took so long for the review. here it is May 2017 and the bolts have backed off again and now I am paying another shop to do the alignment. The other shop also noted that the jam nuts to the tie rod ends were never tightened. as dirt has built up on the threads where the jamb nuts should be. I normally don't leave reviews and I have been going to Raben since 1992 and my parents have been going there much longer but I can tell you never again will I use Raben. read more

My son, just out of college, was working in Newburgh, IN when his car broke down. He had it towed to Raben because it was close. A plug had come out of the bottom of the radiator. Raben told him he needed a whole new radiator and quoted him a price. He agreed with the estimate and let Raben "fix" his car. When he went to pick up the car, the actual cost was well over what the estimate was. He contacted Raben Corporate and was referred back to the Newburgh Raben. He was told they would check into it and get back with him but nobody ever got back with him. At Thanksgiving, the plug fell out of his radiator again. He contacted Raben again and was told to bring it back in so they could look at it. Now he is being told that the plug has a bad spring and he has to pay another $122 to get it fixed. He paid around $600 to have the radiator replaced less than 6 months ago. Now he is told that they put the old plug back in! How do you replace the whole radiator but NOT replace the part he said he was having trouble with? I think they are taking advantage of a kid just out of college because they think he doesn't know any better! We will NEVER take one of our vehicles to a Raben! If he can get this taken care of, I'm sure he will not use Raben again either! It's too bad that they are more worried about making money than taking care of their customers! And the Raben Corporate office has done absolutely nothing to help the situation! This is my first ever Yelp review but this place is awful and not trustworthy at all! The Raben Tire shop in Newburgh has terrible customer service and doesn't serve the needs of customers. I had a sensor in my radiator that kept popping out and leaking all my antifreeze. They told me that I needed a whole new radiator with hoses and a new thermometer. I don't know a lot about cars so I agreed to have that done. They quoted me at $585 over the phone and I had to pay $650. When asking about it, they said they quoted me at almost $690. Now, a couple months later, I had the same sensor pop out and they told me that the clip on the sensor was causing the problem and they cannot fix it because the sensor is a different part and isn't under warranty. They wanted to charge me $200 or so for the sensor with labor. When questioned, I was told that they didn't check the sensor last time and they try to help the customer and keep it as cheap as they can, but that doesn't add up because they should have checked the cheaper part first before charging me for a new radiator. I am very unsatisfied and I will never go to Raben because it was a mistake going there and will never recommend Raben to do work on anyone's car read more
