My car has a mere 27,000 miles on it but I learned at my most recent state inspection that the tires were dealer grade Hankook tires, aka junk, and they would need to be replaced well before the next inspection. I was unaware that tires on new cars were of an inferior grade. Then a few weeks later I notice a large screw basically in the sidewall so not reparable. I went to Goodyear in Thorndale and discussed getting 4 new tires and I am in no mood for budget tires. They had only 2 of what I wanted in stock, so I got those immediately and returned the very next day for the other 2. I was pleased with the congeniality of everyone who worked there and the efficiency of getting the tires replaced in a timely manner. The tires were at a fair price as well. It would seem I won't need tires for quite a few more miles but will return there for my tire needs. I highly recommend this store. read more

Took my car somewhere else today to find out is have the original cabin filter from the KIA DEALERSHIP still in. So they charged me for a fix they never made. A simple yes or no because I had a very slow leaking tire. That darn icon kept on my dashboard and I had found it amazingly dumb to keep adding air to a leaky wheel. So I finally went to a pro to check it out. The pro soon asked others to see if they saw a leak. After several pairs of eyes looked the Manager said that they had found a very slow leak - on the rim! The corrosion on the rim wouldn't let the tire to seal correctly. A small job- Yes but a very thorough job. Thank you and I will definitely return in the future for my tire needs. read more

I made my first visit to a Goodyear Auto Service Center and I'm afraid it will be my last visit. I made an appointment online for 4:30 to get an oil change. I arrived on time and walked to the front desk and informed the young man that I was there for an appointment. He took my keys and told me to be back by 5:30. I left the premises and returned at exactly 5:30 only to find out that my car had yet to be serviced. I made the appointment because I don't have much free time to wait. To say I was angry is putting it mildly. I didn't receive my car until 5:55. That's almost an hour and a half for a simple oil change. To make matters worse, the service guy, his name escapes me, informed me that I needed a new cabin filter. I replaced that cabin filter two weeks ago. So not only was this person lying to me, they were trying to bilk me of my hard earned money. That's why I will no longer return to any Goodyear Auto Service Center. To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, "Goodyear knows how to make an appointment, they don't know how to KEEP an appointment." Avoid this place. There's so many better options available to you! read more

These guys I trust! I have been to them twice. Once to get my inspection stickers put back on my windshield after I had it replaced, and another when I had a flat tire. They are friendly, considerate, and very helpful. Of course you'll have to wait a little but I don't mind it. Recommend definitely! read more

Lee went above and beyond to help me order and replace tires for my car. He worked with the warranty I purchased at my dealership and even went as far as to call the warranty center and help me figure out how much I would be paying out of pocket. His shop doesn't carry the specific tire I needed, but he orders the from an outside source. He was awesome and walked me through the whole process. Even better? I dropped my car off at 430pm on a Friday, and it was ready before 6pm the same day! I will always go back to Lee and his team for all my auto care needs! Thanks guys! :) read more

Unreasonable service technician failed my inspection based on a hairline crack in a fog light that's been there since I bought the car. Never been a problem passing inspection anyplace else in the many years I've owned it. They made my life unnecessarily difficult today over a cosmetic imperfection. 3-5 days and an extra $130 for a fog light? Save yourself some grief. They'll squeeze every penny out of you. read more

This is ridiculous. You make an appointment (9) and still can't get in . Employees don't show up to work. They should at least give you updates, so you can choose to either cancel or except the appointment. Took over an hour(10:05) for them to even pull my vehicle in for an oil change. Still not in. The website needs to be fixed. Numerous customers can make appointments for the same time. Crazy. Bad business. Can't blame on COVID, has been happening since I've been in the area. I can only speak of using the quick lube side of the building (the other side does oil changes cheaper but they take longer as they do general maintenance as well). Quick lube is always quick, staff is kind, and honest about the recommended services (before getting the cabin filter done I price quoted auto zone and the tech gave me the part cost he was given via the computer and it matched). read more

First and last visit. $58 bucks for synthetic / oil blend when it's $38ish at most other places. $55 for a cabin filter. AND then tried to tell me my alignment was way off... they never put it on a rack or anything, just showed me numbers like they had. And when we picked it up it took 15 minutes to pay. The guy didn't know how to use the computer. That is okay, but then at least say something. To the waiting people. Like.. Sorry for the wait? I've brought my car here several times. I'm a young woman who knows nothing about cars, but they never talk down to me and I always feel respected. I've only been here twice. the first time they gave me an oil change, they didn't give me enough oil and my car was low on oil the second week.. SECOND WEEK. So I went there a second time but I asked them to give me a little more oil because they shorted me last time and they overfilled my oil so my car started smoking and I had a buy a new pvc valve and possibly a new turbo for my car. would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Total Crooks! Initially, My wife and I were attracted to Goodyear in Thorndale because of their availability of weekend hours. We come to realize that after our most recent visit in June 2014 that these extended hours only present an opportunity for them to bilk more money from unsuspecting customers. Recently, my wife's check engine came on in her Honda. Because we typically proceed with caution when approaching car repair stations, we chose to visit the local AutoZone to have the cars computer codes read for free. The gentleman at the AutoZone indicated that there was an issue with one of the cylinders and that we should have it checked out ASAP. He mentioned it could be a sensor, a low oil issue or a plug issue. It was Friday evening we dropped the car off at Goodyear in Thorndale because they had weekend hours, hoping we would have the car back on the road for the next work week. WE got the call on Saturday afternnoon and we were informed by Nick at GoodYear Thorndale that our car was in need of a Timing Belt and Water Pump. Total cost would exceed $1,300 for the work. In addition he explained that we would need to pay a $111 fee for the reading of their 'diagnostic' (if that's what you want to call it). and the cost for an oil change. Oh and he inistted that our car would need a synthetic oil. Total cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,500. Feeling very uncomfortable with this diagnosis, we chose to get a second opinion at our Honda dealership. We took our car into the dealer on Monday morning and got a call back before lunch. The diagnosis.. our oil was 1 quart low. This triggered the check engine light to come on. They also recommended a new oil pressure switch - approx $100 -- 1/16th the cost of the work/estimate provided initally by Goodyear. Proceed with caution when using Goodyear Thorndale. Better yet, do not proceed at all. read more

Staff was friendly but that was about it for this business. The oil change that they preformed on my vehicle was THE SLOPPIEST oil change I had EVER had done to my truck. There was oil everywhere when I received it back. There was oil on my motor that spilled down on my motor and onto my exhaust manifold that continued to burn off as I was driving home and made my interior smell like something was burning. There was oil on my electronics in the engine bay and all over my radiator cover plastics. It was also on my hood where they didn't remove their rubber gloves to close the hood, on my driver side fender where they were leaning over to pour the new oil in and finally on my driver side door handle when they opened the door to get in. I could have had a 5 year old change my oil and they would have done way better of a job. If I could I would give no stars. read more

I went in to have the oil changed in my vehicle and they told me I needed two pages worth of expensive repairs. One item on the list was something I had just had done two months before, so I was very suspicious. My vehicle was running and responding normally, so I figured I would wait the few months till it was time to have my vehicle reinspected and see what my regular service station said. Imagine my surprise when I found out my vehicle needed NONE of the repairs this Goodyear service center said I needed. I will never go back there and I suggest you stay away, unless you want to be ripped off. read more

DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! They changed my oil in May 2017 and didn't properly seal the plug and all of my oil ended up leaking out. Another dealership attempted to temporarily fix it. The valve started tapping when my car ran out of oil I asked Lee the manager to have my car towed to his facility and he refused. I went to get my car and it broke down. He told me to have it towed to Goodyear and when I arrived I was not reimbursed for the tow. So Lee lied to me. My engine is now ruined and I'm filing a lawsuit against them. Instead of doing the right thing, he was defensive and refused to apologize for all I went through because the technician who changed my oil didn't seal it properly. I had to initially drive my vehicle into their shop for my oil change because they couldn't drive a clutch. Goodyear claims department denied my claim because it wasn't towed to their facility even though the day before I went to get my car Lee refused to pay for the tow, but Lee flailed to mention that to the claims department. STEER CLEAR IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR. If I could give 0 stars I would. THIS IS A TERRIBLY RUN BUSINESS. DONT GET PUT THROUGH WHAT I WENT THROUGH. read more
