I've been to this Goodyear location several times now, and they continue to earn my trust. Let's be real -- Atlanta is not for the weak, and the roads will absolutely take a toll on your tires. Because of that, I always pay for the warranty, and I'm extremely glad I did. Recently, I hit something on I-20 that completely punctured my tire. I called the store, explained what happened, and they immediately guided me through the next steps and provided the number I needed to file for a tow for the following day -- which ended up being completely free. Going into it, I was bracing myself for a $300+ tire replacement. Somehow, the professionals here worked their magic and brought my total down to $97. I was honestly shocked -- and incredibly thankful. The team here is consistently professional, patient, and helpful. Even though they stay busy, they communicate clearly and keep things moving. My longest wait has been about 3 hours at most, which I consider very reasonable for a high-traffic auto service center in Atlanta. BUSINESS INTEGRITY Is a car shop honest? How to tell? Observe the manager/operator. That's one way to tell. He or she sets the pace, the bar, for honesty and fairness. Jim at the Good Year Auto Service at 3298 LaVista Rd. in Tucker is one honest and fair businessman. The place is trusted by many. I could tell as I was there yesterday afternoon, 5/6/2026, observing other customers come in and leave their cars overnight for repairs. You could sense the customers' trust in the place. I myself was there to get a tire replaced. It had a puncture from a metal. The mechanics at Gwinnett Place Honda said the tire could not be fixed, so I had to get a new one. Fortunately I had purchased road hazard insurance when I bought new tires last September. Jim looked at the tire and said it could be fixed. They do it all the time. He had his guy fix the tire. No charge. I didn't need to use my road hazard insurance. Earlier, he spent 15 minutes on the computer, trying to register the road hazard insurance for the four tires I had bought last September. The "Roll by Good Year" mobile installers had not done the registration last September, so it had to be done now. I was so impressed by Jim's patience and effort at registering my tires. 15 minutes! Am so grateful. I highly recommend Jim and his auto service shop. read more

I usually go to Pep Boys or the dealership for all my car needs, but after seeing my tire light go on and then coming out and hearing the air hissing out of my tire and seeing it slowly deflate in front of my eyes, I knew I had to act pretty quickly and couldn't go far. Luckily, Google Maps pointed me in the direction of this shop as I was just coming from Panera in the strip mall behind it. Made it safely, thankfully, and I was greeted by a nice gentleman inside. I explained the situation, and he came out with me to check. He said they would try to patch the tire and let me know if they were not able to...I was just more disappointed at the fact that I picked up another nail somehow - seems too often an occurrence out here. In any case, I waited in the spacious lobby. They had game shows on and a coffee machine and water-stocked mini fridge. It was mostly workers helping themselves to the drinks, but I'm guessing it was for customers to as it was out in the open, although I didn't take anything, as I wasn't sure lol. Others were ahead of me, but I was glad they fit me in. I was in and out in about an hour. So thankful for their convenient location for this incident, and it was $21 for the patch job, which is reasonable, especially if you can't go anywhere farther. I'd highly recommend this shop. I can't speak on their other services as this was my first time, but they seemed to handle every customer with respect and efficiency in everything. I would definitely come back. After driving these terrible Atlanta roads and getting a nail in my tire, I took my Audi in for a patch and was very pleased with the service I received. I was in and out on a Sunday morning, despite being low on staff. I was greeted warmly and nicely by the receptionist when I walked in and best of all I was given the quality of service I anticipated. Like most people I hate to take my car to the shop. Long waits and big bills. I needed my front end alignment done and my usual shop could not take me that day so I thought I would give this place a try. I made an appointment on line,went in and was able to wait for my car, which did not take long. (And they were busy) Great service,friendly and the price was right. I am going back today for an oil change. Well I just left Goodyear. Went in for my scheduled oil change and was told it would be 2 to 3 hours. I understand the holidays are coming up so I said I could reschedule but was told it would be 2 to 3 hours any day. I am now disappointed I still had the great experience last time but will go back to having my oil changed at places that only do oil changes. I will keep this place in mind for when I have the hours to wait but will go back to my other mechanic who can at least take me home and pick me up when I have to leave my car. read more

I wouldn't trust these fools to put gas in a car the right way. They also checked my break pads and informed me they were all shot. When I changed my break pads there was one bad pad. Come for a tire rotation and leave with more problems then you came with. business is money and money is business but I dropped my truck off last week to get tires put on and rotated. as I leave the store I see that the psi for one of the tires is not showing on the dashboard. now before I brought the truck in all of the tpsms systems were working. I paid for 3 tires the price was about 800$ which I was fine with paying but I came with a problem and left with a problem. and I come back today having to spend an extra 100 for tire sensor this is crazy honestly. Came in to get new tires , but had JUST got a spare put on due to a tire popping (cost me over $200) so I asked if they could put it to the side, considering it was a barely used spare. On top of them having me sit there for 5+ hours while my car was not being worked on (seriously what's the appointment time for), I was also told that they lost my tire. Ugh. Came here for an oil change and tire rotation a couple of months ago. Guy at the desk was super rude but I get it. Got it done relatively quickly & was satisfied, but the next day when I was driving, my skid plate flew off on the interstate. Turns out whoever changed my oil didn't bolt it on fully. Called and the manager (Howard) said he found the bolt on the ground in the bay. Took it back, they replaced it for free, and offered me a free oil change for next time. Howard was lovely and I was very satisfied with the resolution. I since have moved so didn't end up cashing in the free oil change and took my car somewhere else for oil today. Turns out, instead of bolting on the new plate, they used ZIP TIES. Lucky this new oil change place was kind enough to replace the zip ties for me and do it right. Something so routine should not be this problematic. Such sloppy work, I wouldn't trust these people with you car. read more

This is a review of the service not the product because I was sold an unnecessary tire and charged $596 for substandard service. I took my car in because of a knocking in the back rear which I thought was the suspension. I was told that the knocking was due to a drill bit they found in the back tire. 1) These tires were less than 6 months old and under warranty with the dealership where I bought them. Had it not been days before Thanksgiving, I would have protested the need. I wasn't even offered the option to have the tire patched and taken to the dealership 2) the knocking was not fixed. I have since found out it is a Nissan suspension recall. Nothing was fixed. Sold unnecessary products and services. I will never go back there again. Unreliable and untrustworthy as others here have noted. Overpriced and dishonest. May consider other Goodyear locations but never this one again. Update: Just got back from the Nissan dealer who confirmed both the issue under warranty (control arm replacement) as well as a shock absorber leak both of which Goodyear Tucker failed to diagnose. I also needed wheel alignment which Goodyear charged me for back in November. Goodyear found none of these issues in late Nov. It is now only Jan 8th. I firmly believe they planted that drill bit they claim to have found in my brand new tire. I say this based on the fact that I drive less than 10 miles a week (I work from home since the pandemic and go to Publix literally 1/2 mile away or Sam's around 1 mile away). I don't drive near any construction sites. They didn't even inspect my car as claimed because the dealer found the battery needed replacing and recommended an alignment after the repairs are made. Total cost from the dealer is slightly more ($641.00) than what I was charged for one tire. I have filed a complaint with Georgia Department of Law's Consumer Protection Division and I intend to report this to every consumer advocate website and service review website I can find. This location has a 1.31 starred rating out of 5 with the BBB. read more

Wonderful experience here. Come visit my new friends Howard and Tom. They took care of replacing my battery in my Mercedes SUV. Most companies won't touch it and make you go to the dealership. Update: The tech who completed my A/C service (same tech who said the air filter was dirty) had told me over the phone that my car was 2 lbs. low on refrigerant while I was waiting on the car. I paid $19.99 per pound to add 2 lbs. of refrigerant. Come to find out, my car only holds a little less than ONE pound of refrigerant--total. It's impossible for it to be even one pound low, let alone two. Between this and the problems below, I decided to go back to Goodyear and ask to speak with the manager. I explained all of the below, as well as my complaint about being lied to about the refrigerant and then charged for a pound of refrigerant that could not have possibly been added to my car. The manager was very apologetic and very receptive. He expressed concern that his team is not performing as he expects them to and assured me that he would address the issue with them. He also insisted on refunding me in full for the service in order to document the incident, even though I had come in only wanting a refund for the extra pound of refrigerant that definitely had not been added to my car. I was very impressed with how the manager handled this and would trust him in the future--not so sure I would trust the mechanics, though. This is my new go to place for auto work. I suggest you make an appointment, although I have been able to drop in. The secret is out of the bag, however, so make an appointment. They are honest. They didn't try to upsell me or convince me to buy some service I didn't need. They have a nice size waiting room complete with free snacks and water. They do very good work. In short I trust them, which is WAAAYYYY more than I can say for my previous review of Jiffy Lube. I will continue to patronize this business. read more

I went in for a simple oil change. I also asked them to check the AC and let me know what it would be to get it fixed. They came back with a quote of $358 for the AC service. RON is a liar and a thief! Trying to take me for $358 when all my car needed was Freon. I told them don't touch the AC. I took it to Autohaus on Jimmy Carter. $79 and my AC is perfect now. Went in to have a nail removed from our tired and the tire patched. It was leaking air slowly every few days. They then took the car back and later showed us the tire with a 1 inch gash in the side of it, clearly done by knife. How could we possibly drive the car to the shop with a gash that large in it, it would have never held air. They took advantage of an elderly woman. read more

First with the good: the employees here are fantastic. Always friendly and helpful. They really seem to go out of their way to make you happy. Unfortunately the quality of the product doesn't match the service. I paid to have 4 tires replaced on my wife's van. The day after it seemed that one was not balanced so we brought it back. They rebalanced it. We drove it away and had the same problem. Brought it back two more times until they realized it was a bad tire and replaced it. Now one of the other tires is losing air -- major problem. I've brought it back every weekend for two months to have them say there is no leak, but it continues to lose air. When I asked that they replace it, I was told that I declined the warranty so they can't. I'm fairly certain that I did not decline the warranty and the tire was never right in the first place. I am appalled that a place known for providing quality service would try to scam me out of my money. I took my car in to get the AC fixed. It kept switching from cold to hot air. They charged me 35 just to put free-on and tell me I needed a specific part. They then informed me the part and the labor would be approximately 200. I didn't receive any paperwork stating what was wrong with my car or the results of the diagnostics test. My boyfriend informed me that he would have his friend (who owns a garage) look at it for a second opinion. Turns out I needed a completely different part AND the results of the diagnostics stated so. Turns out these individuals aren't as honest as they make themselves out to be. I am disappointed. Don't be fooled by imitations. This is a corporate-owned Goodyear store (you can tell by the "wingfoot" symbol on the storefront.) My experience here was top-drawer. I was greeted by Mr Rodriguez as soon as I walked into the showroom. I asked for an inspection of my tires and he walked out with me right away to take a look at my vehicle. He recommended two new tires. My tread was worn pretty badly. He checked his inventory... found the correct tire model in stock ... quoted me a price and said it would be about an hour. This place has a decent coffee-and-TV waiting area with free WiFi. Guess what? It took less than an hour and I was out of there with safe, new Goodyear tires. I called 2 weeks ago and talked with Darryl about purchasing a tire. He stated that he did not have it in the store but he that he could order it. I told him that would be fine and he said that he would call me when it comes in. I had not heard back from Darryl so I thought I would call to see why it was taking so long to hear back from him. He said that he had tried to call me but got a wrong number. That's strange! They have me in their computer and I have received other calls from them before. These people are FRAUDS. Do not get your tires done here. I bought a tire here and after having it for a few weeks, it started to lose air at an unbelievable rate. When i brought it back to be replaced, they said there was nothing wrong with it and tried to charge me for a new tire, which makes no sense. Daryl, the sales guy, was very rude and argumentative. I am a frequent customer as I am a delivery driver. Yesterday, however, I was not pleased with my visit. I made an appointment online to have a oil change done and wait for my car. When I arrived, I was told it would take 4 hours. I would have appreciated if I would have received a call beforehand as they could see on the system I chose to wait on my car. Because of my loyalty, I chose to drop off my vehicle instead of going elsewhere to get quick service. I was not given a call in 4 hours and had to call to check in after 5.5 hours. When I picked up my car, I noticed the tire rotation I have requested was not done. I know this because I put blue mark indications and all the tires were in the same place. When I bought this to Darrel's attention, without inquiring with the technician, told me it was done and if it was not it probably did not need it. Relatively quick service - I made and appointment online and was early. Service took just under and hour. Had to have tire plugged, had them mount spare that was on the road back onto spare carrier and plugged tire back in place - I have a Jeep Wrangler so all five wheels/ tires are the same, wanted spare back in place so four tires on the road have same wear. They didn't charge me. I have Goodyear tires on the Jeep so that may be why. read more

They fixed my alternator and when I drove away from the shop there was a loud repetitive banging noise in the back of my car. I returned a few days later and complained. They examined the car and told me it would cost almost $500 to repair rear a/c actuator. I told them I was suspicious that I had never heard that sound before and felt they did something to cause it. I refused to authorize the repairs even though I had always done so in the past. Oddly enough, when I picked up the car after refusing to let them repair it, the sound was gone. Haven't heard it since. Soooo glad I didn't pay them more money to fix nothing!!!! read more

Let me start with this: I never write reviews but this time I couldn't help but share my experience. The place was fantastic. Professional, helpful and honest. I dropped in just a few minutes before their closing time needing a tire repair. I called a couple of other places but got turned down. This was the last straw...since I was pressed to get the tire fixed before returning the car to the actual owner....yea, my lucky day....but I could not have made a better choice! They welcomed me, got to work asap and despite me not having a key to take the tire off they got it done without a problem. But this is not the end of it..........I PAID NOTHING. They refused to charge me! I could not believe it. What a great way to turn someone's crappy day around. Thank you guys! I wish this rating had 10 stars I want to give you. You deserve it. read more

Do not go here!! They will tell you that you need things you DO NOT need. They are out for your money. Please trust me. First time the manager told me I needed a new tire and Yokohamas were bad tires for my model car and I should get Goodyear tires. I already had Yokohamas and this was not true. Not only did I not need a new tire (i took it for a second opinion), but Yokohamas are actually highly rated for my car and are rated better than a Goodyear tire. Second time (I should have learned - my bad for going back) I was told I needed rear brakes and some sort of flush because they were more worn more than the front brakes. This was complete and utter bullshit. I took my car, yet again, for a second opinion and was told my back brakes had at least a year left on them and I did not need any sort of flush. The manager is a complete idiot and scammer. Do not waste your time or spend money you dont need to! read more

Please avoid this place if possible. I've bought 3 tires from this place. One of my tires continued to lose air after I purchased it. I took it back to them and the store manager, Ron, said "we couldn't find anything wrong with the tire". Instead of replacing it he basically said he glued the rim together and if that doesn't work, he will replace it. The next day my tire continued to lose air (over 10psi in one day) so I brought it back. Darryl, their sales person, claimed that we were customers "just trying to get a free tire" and yelled at us in the store we tried to explain to him our situation. We were completely embarrassed and thought it was extremely unprofessional. In addition, he put a new tire on our car (without our consent) and told us to pay for it. Obviously, we would not pay for a tire we did not authorize (and replace a faulty tire we received from Goodwill). He condescended us, cut us off repeatedly, and completely disrespected us.
