She quoted me a price and provided a timeline over the phone for the following day. I was late for my appointment, but she was still able to accommodate me. There were no surprises, everything was as she had previously advised. The cost was reasonable, and the job was completed quickly, and effectively. I got a low pressure light at 6:30 on a Thursday night, with a long drive scheduled the next morning. I figured I was sunk, but found this location open until 8:30. They were incredibly helpful, immediately looked at the tire and found the nail. No pressure to replace the tire or upsell anything else. They quickly patched the tire and I was on my way. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They don't even deserve 1 star. Not only the slowest, most incompetent mechanic I've ever been to, but flat out liars. Took two hours to mount a tire, but the kicker is how incorrectly it was done. Wrong brand, wrong size, and mounted BACKWARDS. That's right. It says plain as day "this side inwards", on the outside. Then they just left the spare in the back instead of mounting it under the car where it goes. Genius. If they stopped chit chatting in the garage like ladies who lunch, maybe it would have at least been less of my time wasted. While I was there, one woman was back from the previous day because she paid for air filters to be installed, waited 2 hours and discovered later that they were not only not installed, but they don't even stock them, so they flat out lied to her about the services performed and charged her anyway. Another guy had waited 4 hours for a tire change the previous day only to be told they didn't have the right lug nuts. The incompetence is utterly mind boggling. read more

Came in on a Sunday a hour before they closed to fix a tire I had a nail in. Was in and out within an hour. Can't beat $24.99.

This is the slowest service I have ever received. I wouldn't mind them taking 8 hours to change the brake pads but they say "30 minutes" every time you ask so I sat there and waited like a moron. The lady at the front was very polite and competent but in the end it didn't matter because I wasted so much of my time. Any savings I may have received coming here were easily cancelled out by all the work I missed waiting here. While waiting I watched Field of Dreams twice on their TV then figured I should learn how to change brake pads and rotors so I would never have to go through this experience again. Thankfully YouTube has a bunch of videos on this and the cost of materials and tools is less than the $600 you'll spend getting the work done here. If you have the 8 hours and $600 to get your brakes changed here you might as well do it yourself and at least you'll have learned something. read more

I have never been so frustrated in an emergent situation. In route to an appointment and something punctured my tire on the expressway. Came to this location in error for a tire repair after contacting what I thought was this location. I was met with a rude front desk person who proceeded to tell me there are people in front of me and telling me that I may have to purchase a tire before a technician even looked at the vehicle. I'm very aware that I needed a repair and he didn't like that I told him I didn't need a tire but a repair. He proceeded to lecture me about my tone and respectfulness and that others were in front of me. Management was not on site and Paul helped me place air in my tire so that I could go to the correct location. Never again, this location needs changes in customer facing service. Paul was the only person helpful in this situation. The front desk could learn from him. read more

Shoddy work - need to be watched like a hawk! Went for an oil change and to install 4 new tires. 1) Had difficulty replacing one of the three oil pan cover plastic bolts so he faked it and tossed it aside. 2) Balanced only 3 of the 4 tires. 3) I came in with 4 silver valve caps. After reinstalling tires, one tire had the silver cap, one had a black plastic cap and the other two tires had no valve cap. 4) Began to back my car out of the shop without torquing the lug nuts. At the point I said wait a minute and went down the list of discrepancies. They had to search for the plastic bolt that was tossed aside. They pulled the tire I claimed wasn't balanced - sure enough. They found my valve caps and torqued the lug nuts. They made everything right but without so much as an "excuse me". Had I not been watching this whole operation closely I'd have been royally screwed. UPDATE: It took a few days but I found another issue when my 'Low Tire Pressure' indicator lit. All tires are supposed to have 35 psi. I found 2 tires with 37 psi and 2 with 32 psi. I adjusted all 4 tires to 35 psi and the indicator light went out. I wish I could give these guys negative stars! UPDATE #2: I called their "customer non-solutions" department as requested below. First call: on hold for 5+ minutes then disconnected. Second call: on hold for 10 minutes and finally connected to an "answering service" who only offered to take my name and phone # and have someone call back. What a joke! Seems corporate is just as incompetent as the service facility. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would . This place is lucky they don't have a law suit against them . I went to get my brakes changed , to only leaving the facility after repairs , to no brakes working at all . I had to throw my car in park before entering traffic on lavista road bc I had no brakes working at all. I'm lucky my car was ok after throwing it in park and I'm also very lucky a car wasn't coming at the time . Very scary . My brakes are still not the same when I first brought them in . They were always working great before just a little squeaky. Please stay away for your safety and maintenance of your car. read more

Chuck was extremely informative and polite on the phone yesterday, and to my surprise he remembered everything today. If I can give them a zero I would I needed new tires for my car. So I decided to take my car on 9/3/22 because it was Labor Day and usually when it's a holiday they have sales. I call the salesperson to make a appointment. He asked me what I needed, and I replied I need three Goodyear tires, I told him two on the back and one in the front on the passenger side. He told me that there would be a $25 deposit, which it would go to the balance, I said that's fine, he made the appointment and I was on my way. When I got there the receptionist asked do you have an appointment I said yes and gave her the information, she again replied how many tires you need I said three she asked which three, and I said two on the back and one in the front on the passenger side. She showed me the invoice on her computer and the amount. I took a picture and she said that it was going to take a few hours if I was going to wait or not, and I told her that my husband will pick me up. Then she proceeded to tell me that I needed some wipers I'm shaking my head side to side and said no, then she said "oh you don't want them?" And I said again NO. As I'm sitting down waiting for my husband to pick me up I look to the side and I see the mechanic ripping my wipers. I asked immediately "Hey what is he doing ripping on my wipers." She replied "Did you read the invoice?" and I said no but I took a picture, and she said "Oh I just put them there meaning they're free." And I said to her "Are you sure because I don't want to be charged for wipers.I came here only for my tires", she said yeah don't worry about it they're free. My husband picked me up and we went home. 2 hours passed, then she calls and says that the mechanic found out that I needed a oil change, and that the tire sensor had to be replaced, and we reply"Nothing should be wrong with the sensors because when we took the car, it was perfectly fine and the sensor's light was not on."and that we only came to have the tires replaced. When the job supposedly was finished we decided to check the tires and we found out that one of them wasn't replaced immediately we told the front desk and she called the mechanic. The mechanic had an attitude and kept arguing that he changed the tires , but he never did because you can clearly see the old tire when we pointed at it he got an attitude again the lady at the front desk spoke to him and he decided to change the tire. When the work was supposedly done he didn't let us know that he finished when i got in my car to back it up to leave.My husband notice that he remove the tires balances. When my husband addressed it he looked at him like he wanted to fight him and he was very combative. We left the establishment got home my husband decide to check the back tire and found out that the mechanic removed the balances. We call corporate to make the complaint they send us to another maybe which there we spend the whole day. our whole Saturday was ruined,band we will never get that back. Moral of the story we will never go to a Mavis again and I won't advise nobody to go either. read more

My daughter had a nail in her tire. (tires we purchased at Mavis) We took it in to be patched. A day or two later her tire light came on and the tire again needed air. Dropped my truck off for a tire balance. Was told it would be an hour and a half. I left. Came back 4 hours later. It was in the lift no tires. I asked how much longer till it would be done. The manager replied. "You got a problem!" Well I do now. This isn't the first mavis tire to treat me like sh*t and never felt like I was goi g to get jumped for asking. I just read where "Mavis Tire Supply, LLC, which has over 50 locations in Georgia, is accused of engaging in unlawful and deceptive practices in the course of its vehicle repairs and its sale of automotive parts." by the Georgia Department of Law.(Georgia Attorney Generals Office) .This reflects the experience I had when, after replacing two tires with a front end alignment, (a 6 hour experience despite an early morning reservation), I found that my steering wheel was pointing about 45 degrees to the left as I traveled straight down the road, When I returned and told the counter person/manager, he said that I needed to replace my tie rods at cost of $300. I had replaced both previously so I knew he was lying. I declined, drove home with the new problem and checked all the steering linkage. Everything that has to do on the front end linkage was tight, without any play. It took me about 15 minutes to re-adjusted the steering wheel to point straight, I did it in my driveway and it has been fine ever since. This company basically broke my car trying to get me to purchase parts and services not needed! I went for an oil change and the mechanic mishandled the hydraulic lift to pull up the car and ended up with a CV axle boot broken....that cost about $230 ...they denied any responsability and to top it off ...they tried to get me into changing the whole CV axle.. DISHONESTY and NEGLIGENCE is what they showed to me. they ruined my day and costed me money i didnt have to spend. I would give 0 stars if possible, because no one I spoke even deserves a one. Mavis employees are LIARS. I made the appt. on the phone one day prior for 11am. Max told me it would take about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. I get to the shop on time and then I am told it would be at least 1 1/2 before they could even check the brakes on my car. I asked what the purpose of making an appt. if you can't get to my car in timely manner? Ray (I believe) blamed it on the 800# appt employee. I ask can I not just come back in 1 1/2. He told me no that they might be ready for me before then. Against my better judgement I decided to wait since I am heading out of town and needed my brakes repaired first. BIG mistake. I walked and had lunch and came back in 2 hrs. My car had not been touched. I sat in the waiting area for another 30 mins before asking Ray for my keys. It gave me my and didn't say a single word to me. No, I'm sorry, nothing. Worst customer service EVER! If it's going to take 4 hours, you should just people so they can make a decision based on the TRUTH. Apparently, truth is not a word Mavis employees know. While I waited the 30 mins, I saw 2 different customers with minor tire issues come up and get repaired before me. My time is valuable like most and Mavis doesn't care about that. Their website reviews must be fake, because online they aren't rated 4.5. Take my advice and go anywhere but to Mavis. Now I can't leave today because everyone else is booked for the rest of the day.
