    Delicious seafood fetuccine
    Lucia H.

Excellent service. We got seated right away and after we ordered our food - grilled veggies, zucchini flower, pizza parmigiana and seafood fetuccine, it was served to us less than 30 mins. The food was really tasty and delicious including the lemon ice cream and tiramisu. The lemoncelli spritz was also very good. Marika our server was very helpful in giving us suggestions of what to order including my lemoncelli spitz. She was prompt in providing service to us. The place is nice and cozy. Definitely, will recommend this place to my friends and will surely come back. Great dinner experience.

The food and service were second to none. Friendly staff and the food was expertly prepared. The house wine was excellent.

We walked in here one evening for dinner and they immediately gave us a table. The place was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. Unfortunately, the seating in this place is crammed together pretty tight. Our server wasn't that friendly, she seemed too busy taking care of other tables and didn't spend any time to greet us properly or even talk to us at all. Prices are on the high side here. I ordered the chicken cutlet with spaghetti instead of salad, plus fries. When the dish arrived, it had two thin pieces of chicken and a few pieces of lettuce. I told her I wanted spaghtti instead, and she didn't say anything and brought me the spaghetti (and charged me extra for her mistake). The food didn't have much flavour, pretty tasteless. The fries were the best part of the meal, being cooked perfectly. The only time I saw a smile on the server's face was when she presented the check--how pathetic.

Pizza alla diavola (front) and pizza parmigiana (back)

Came here as it was a short walk from our rental near the south part of the Vatican. Cute and cozy authentic Italian restaurant, and the pizza and desserts were delicious. I ordered the pizza alla diavola (tomato, mozzarella, spicy salami), it was perfect! Had a little bite to it with the spicy salami, and it was the perfect end (along with the dessert) to our last night in Rome. For dessert I ordered the Tartufo affogato Al caffè, and I ordered it "black" which I believe was chocolate on the outside of the gelato with a vanilla inside, which was delightful. Great service and friendly staff! Would highly recommend!

    Ravioli...

This place was the best food I've had so far in Rome. The ravioli was amazing as was the tiramisu! My daughter had the mezze maniche alla gricia and loved it too.. Great service was provided.. Thanks Marina!!

    Tiramisu...it was heavenly

Best food & service I've had so far in Rome, this place will be hard to beat. Authentic Italian menu, with many choices and at an affordable price. The service was wonderful, Marika was friendly and attentive. The pasta and tiramisu are the best I've had in Rome & they have a great selection of Bruchetta. We will be back before leaving Rome!

Get the carbonara but make sure get a dish that's not salty; so it will balance it out since the carbonara is a little on the saltier side

We tried goose because it was one of the closest restaurants next to our place with a good rating on yelp; we looked at the pictures on yelp of course to see what looked good. Of course we get there and choose what we like instead; we chose The carbonara and the goose pizza. We love love pizza and we were torn with the goose pizza or the good ol napoli pizza; the anchovies, the cheese, and the tomatoes. We asked our waiter and he recommended the goose pizza, so on his rec we went with the goose The goose pizza: 3/5 the cheese was really good, I would say one of the best tasting cheese's I had on a pizza; gooey, fresh tasting, and wasn't rubbery at all. The crust was perfectly thin and crunch was just amazing, the taste was also very good. Now the pizza as a whole with the toppings were very lackluster, the flavor was not there because it had eggplant (which was not flavorful at all), mushrooms, and tomatoes. I would def not get it again, prob stick with the Napoli for sure. Carbonara 4/5; first off the pasta was al dente, other reviewers had noted that the pasta wasn't and I felt like it was on par with many of the other Italian restaurants here that we've had. The flavor was a deep rich eggy and flavorful pasta; it was such a thick consistency which we like so it was just right. Now the only downside was the taste, it was pretty good with the cheese and the bacon bits, but we were overwhelmed with the saltiness of the dish. It was more saltier than most carbonara dishes we had, I would still give this a 4/5 because the flavor had a good true Italian taste to it but the salt was a little over powering. NOW these two dishes together was just good; the goose pizza which was bland and really had no sense of saltiness mixed with the carbonara which was a little on the saltier side made a great dish. Side note: we ordered the goose house wine, would give it a solid 3.5/5, would remind me of a Trader Joe's 2 buck chuck if you know what I'm talking about, if you don't then I would recommend it with your meal since it was such a good price.

We found this little gem around the corner from where we were staying in Rome. What can I say, if the locals frequent the place it must be worth it. Upon walking in we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. We knew very little Italian but that didn't deter us from ordering our plates. The staff is very friendly and provided prompt service. The food was delicious!! The pizza was nothing like anything I had tasted before. West Coast and New York Style pizza is nothing compared to Goose pizza. The Frutti de Mare was bananas!!! I had this dish twice during my trip to Rome. For dessert we enjoyed tiramisu and it was heavenly. Would definitely visit Goose again when in Rome.

BEST Pizza in Vatican City!! There is a wood fire oven right in front so you know it's good. Our hotel recommend this place and it didn't disappoint. I wish we could have gone again because it was that good

    Rice balls
    Amy J.

We ordered the rice balls, bread with olive oil, fettuccini Bolognes and seafood fettuccini. It was ok. I didn't like the seafood, it was VERY fishy smelling / flavored. To be fair, I'm not a huge fan of mussels but thought I'd try something more traditional. The bread was just like Italian bread toasted and brushed with olive oil. The rice balls really needed salt. The woman next to me got pizza though and it looked amazing.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

This shop is more of a countertop order from their limited menu but the menu is executed so well you'll be tempted to order multiple bowls. You can pair your dishes with an aperol spritz or mini bottle of wine for less than five euros. The pasta was about nine to eleven euros and the portions were more than plenty. The chef and owner are super nice and very informative about their dishes. If you are a fan of spice you have to try their chef-recommended dish. They had one dish topped with pancetta and I just about wanted to lick my bowl clean. Everyone in the group was raving how delicious it was. Egg will forever be on my must-have when visiting Rome.
