The call linked me to Jose and accepted to evaluate my Son's gaming laptop repair the next day. During the evaluation, Jose explained how the gaming laptop hinge would be repaired and gave two options for the repair approach. After two days with Jose at Fix A computer, I received a text alert that my Son's laptop was ready for retrieval. Jose stated the repairs that were done and applied new thermal glue, improving my Son's gaming laptop cooling functions. Anyways, I have around 10 to 15 iOS and Apple devices, and almost all of them have been serviced here at this nice mom and pop shop. The owner is sometimes present, and they offer reasonable pricing for fixing your digital devices. This five-star review is for a specific incident when I was getting my iPad fixed. The lady informed me that they didn't have the screen shield I wanted, but she said that if I purchased it, they would install it for me as a bonus. Eventually, I brought in the screen protectors, probably a few months later, though I'm not entirely sure if they remembered what they had promised. Nevertheless, they helped me apply the screen protectors to my iPads anyway. Despite it being a bonus, they took the time to do a meticulous job, especially since the screen was slightly scratched. It's always more challenging to apply a protector when the surface is already damaged, and I appreciate the fact that they spent the time to eliminate all the bubbles and didn't cut corners. Another amusing moment occurred when I entered the shop, and the owner asked if I was there to get the Gundam robots. Apparently, they had these limited-edition models on sale. I had no idea what he was talking about, so when I thought he said "condoms," I was shocked and embarrassed. Lol. The shop is conveniently located tucked in the side of a larger Asian Plaza, right next to the laundromat, which is nice because sometimes it only takes 15 minutes to half an hour to change batteries or fix minor cosmetic dents or replace screens for phones and iPads. Meanwhile, I can conveniently go to Ranch 99 to shop for groceries or have a quick brunch at tenren Tea Time.

Andrew is able to offer prices at his rates because his parts come from stolen computers and…read morephones. He admitted that he bypasses locked devices. He has a side hustle of selling these stolen or lost devices and tries to sell them for cheap. I tried purchasing a laptop from him and he informed me the laptop had another owner and the iCloud lock was bypassed and he'd show me how to do it if I ever needed to reformat the machine (because it's still linked to the original owner). When I expressed that I was no longer interested, he gave me his unsolicited number saying he "fixes all Apple problems." Clearly reaffirming if you have a stolen or found device, he can help you out. When I again said insisted I wasn't interested, he then insulted me and blocked me. See attached screenshots as proof. (I blacked out his phone number out of respect for his privacy). Don't bother with this man or his business if you care about ethics and don't want to deal with someone who's ego gets hurt when you decide to not do business with them.
