I called ANOTHER place earlier and the guy kept emphasizing multiple times over the phone that he wouldn't be able to have me access my phone unless if I had the passcode for it (which I did and provided to this store). I came to this guy instead and he fixed my problem without any negative assumptions and went above and beyond. I'll definitely go to him again next time if I have any tech issues.

She was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the entire process to me. Since I arrived close to closing time and didn't have an appointment, she let me know they would run diagnostics on my laptop the following day. There's an $89 diagnostic fee, and if repairs are needed, part of the $89 fee can be used towards the cost, which felt reasonable. The next day, Martin called to let me know there was no damage and that he had cleaned the affected keys. He explained that my laptop passed all tests, but the battery was consumed. When I wasn't sure what that meant, he patiently explained and advised that since the battery wasn't swelling and the computer was still performing well, there was no need to replace it unless I noticed issues. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain everything and didn't try to upsell me. I was able to pick up my laptop later that same day which was less than 24 hours after dropping it off. Be aware: I Fix For U Arcadia on Huntington are liars and scam people out of their hard earned money; my son broke the screen on his MacBook Pro so We went to I Fix For U for a replacement screen. all the reviews I read reflected that this is a store that I can trust. This is not the case. The store lied and said they used genuine Apple parts. After we accused them with proof from Apple they backtracked and claimed they used Apple OEM and I misunderstood. After going back-and-forth with the store, they finally agreed to offer me a partial store credit. I will never go back to the store to use their credit on bad quality knockoffs. Also Apple does not use OEM. Do not go to I Fix For U, take your business somewhere else so you don't waste your money on bad quality fakes that don't work. read more

Anyways, I have around 10 to 15 iOS and Apple devices, and almost all of them have been serviced here at this nice mom and pop shop. The owner is sometimes present, and they offer reasonable pricing for fixing your digital devices. This five-star review is for a specific incident when I was getting my iPad fixed. The lady informed me that they didn't have the screen shield I wanted, but she said that if I purchased it, they would install it for me as a bonus. Eventually, I brought in the screen protectors, probably a few months later, though I'm not entirely sure if they remembered what they had promised. Nevertheless, they helped me apply the screen protectors to my iPads anyway. Despite it being a bonus, they took the time to do a meticulous job, especially since the screen was slightly scratched. It's always more challenging to apply a protector when the surface is already damaged, and I appreciate the fact that they spent the time to eliminate all the bubbles and didn't cut corners. Another amusing moment occurred when I entered the shop, and the owner asked if I was there to get the Gundam robots. Apparently, they had these limited-edition models on sale. I had no idea what he was talking about, so when I thought he said "condoms," I was shocked and embarrassed. Lol. The shop is conveniently located tucked in the side of a larger Asian Plaza, right next to the laundromat, which is nice because sometimes it only takes 15 minutes to half an hour to change batteries or fix minor cosmetic dents or replace screens for phones and iPads. Meanwhile, I can conveniently go to Ranch 99 to shop for groceries or have a quick brunch at tenren Tea Time.

Long story short they managed re-hooking up the screen though you could barely see what was on it and then had these super bright lamps shine on the screen as they could barely make out what button for each file they had to send to a new memory card they put in my old phone. After an arduous few hours they had recovered all 11 gigabytes of precious memories and then when I came in they put that memory card in my phone and transfered ALL MY PRECIOUS PICTURES to my new phone and I can't thank them enough. THAT WAS A MIRACLE FOR ME!!! I now have a new phone with plenty of memory space and ALL my old photos and am one happy camper. If you've read through all this you can see this is a store unlike no other. TJ Cell Phone Repair really cares about their customers and "bends over backward" to accommodate them.
