Tasty gordita. My fav are the bean & cheese gorditas. I tried the special which consisted of three gorditas with your choice of filling.

The gorditas were not crisp enough to pick up to bite. It was such a disappointment.

Amazing spot. Best tacos in town. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Recommend for a great authentic Mexican spot.

It is an easily accessible building in Azle, off 730, but despite that it's not easy to see unless looking for it, specifically, since the sign isn't easy to read until you stop and it just looks like a basic strip mall with a Vape store next door, etc. The reason for the mixed reviews is that I paid $10 for 3 tacos and charro beans. The tacos were very small for that price, with not much meat. On the other hand, the meat was very well seasoned and was really good. The charro beans was amazing as well, with large pieces of bacon and the beans. My only issue with the charro beans was that it was very mild with no kick at all, even though it had jalapenos cooked into it. One thing that was interesting and not common at taquerias.. While the cilantro and raw onions were in plastic portion cups, it also had grilled onions, a grilled jalapeno, and it was grilled pineapple which was really good and tasted very good putting the pineapple on each taco. Now to my favorite part.. The Hot sauce. I love spicy food and it's very much a craving and the green sauce was very mild, but the red had good flavor and had a nice little kick to it. So good flavor, despite very small portions. A little expensive just for 4 tacos and a small cup of charro beans, so use your own judgement and try this place if you like street tacos and decide for yourself how it is in comparison to other places

The inside is interesting with a lot of rustic touches with Christmas lights and brick flooring. We received chips and salsa right after we sat down, and they ended up being the of the show. The chips were thick and coated with a yummy seasoning and the salsa had a great flavor with just the right amount of spice. We ordered a cup of queso which was pretty disappointing. It was flavorless and there was a huge chunk of bell pepper in the bottom of the cup. Weird. I ordered the chicken flautas which came with rice and beans. Everything was tasty, but I wasn't a big fan of the beans. They weren't really refried, and most of the beans were left whole. The kiddos ordered the bean & cheese nachos, a full order, and he finished the whole plate, so I'm assuming he enjoyed his meal! The margaritas were ok, but I've found stronger & cheaper ones closer to home. Our server was great! I wish I remembered his name. He was attentive, made sure our drinks stayed full, and checked on us several times. I'm not sure I would go out of my way to eat here again, but if I'm the area I wouldn't be opposed.

Not Tex-Mex, but authentic Mexican food---which, surprisingly, has been INCREDIBLY difficult to find in Fort Worth. We didn't like the paprika on the chips--weird. The salsa, well, isn't the most tasty. The food (I ordered the enchiladas) tasted EXACTLY like the Walmart's Amy's Enchilda dinner--it even looked like it. The food was hot, the service was fine, but upon opening the door and entering the restaurant, the facility smelled "old". Mildew? Mold? Old grease? Don't know, but it wasn't pleasant. I see no good reason to return.

Not to be deterred we decided to try El Gran Torino's based off of the reviews that their Chips and Salsa were a must try. Greeted warmly. Seated quickly. Their salsa is tasty. It has a hint of onions and cilantro and possibly garlic. It's chilled and perfect for a hot Texas Sunday. It's not a spicy salsa though but nonetheless is still very good. Their chips are light and crispy. Our favorite. Their queso is a whole other story. It's absolutely delicious. Cheesy (and not that fake cheesy taste either). It's good. Has little chunks of green chilis, not spicy though but yet tasty. We absolutely loved it. My sis ordered Flour tortillas tacos with Ground beef. She added sour cream. Her's arrived hot but was missing the sour cream. We both loved the refried beans. I ordered their Fajita Grilled chicken Torito'se burrito (customized). Added sour cream and queso to go inside the burrito and asked them to go light on the beans and rice. It also has onions and green peppers. You then request the topping and I went with their Verde Sauce. Mine arrived hot! Like my sister absolutely loved the refried beans. This burrito is HUGE and was prepared exactly as requested. I couldn't eat it all and took over half home to enjoy it later. Service was good but we did run out of chips and had to wait longer than one should. (Queso got cold) I usually don't comment on my drinks but their Tea was surprisingly refreshing. I asked for a full glass of ice and a 1/4 sweet and 3/4 unsweetened. It arrived perfectly and was a major thirst quencher! Did I mentioned the chips? They have a runner bringing it out but as mentioned above they need to do better on replenishment. A great Tex Mex experience overall.

It's sort of a hole-in-the-wall type of place because it is in a gas station; however, do not let that deter you because that is usually when the food is the best. We typically order several things from their menu, and because it is fairly priced, it does not break the bank. Want to know a plus? There's a drive-thru for your convenience! So you can easily order and grab your food from the comfort of your car! We were also greeted happily by the staff at the counter. They are always so friendly and happy; it makes us happy seeing how energetic and happy they are. Overall, we always come back to Taco Time Mexican Grill because of the customer service, friendly staff, and delicious food. It's priced right and very tasty!

Taco Time Mexican Grill -- Eagle Mountain Lake These…read morebreakfast tacos are not here to impress you--they're here to rescue you. Egg, potato, and a frankly alarming amount of shredded cheddar (which I'm not actually complaining about for the record). The eggs? A little dry. The size? Smaller than your exes pinky signet ring he got on SHEIN. The vibe? Sunday morning lake hangover triage. You're not ordering these because you're a "breakfast taco connoisseur." You're ordering them because you spent the last 48 hours in a swimsuit powered by White Claws, knocked the bumper pad off your friend's jet ski, made generally bad decisions, and now your body is filing a formal complaint. The tacos arrive in a Styrofoam container like a first aid kit for your soul. You know you'll eat real food later, but right now you just need something--anything--to soak up the seltzer still running through your bloodstream. The salsa? Not optional. Not because it was great, but the eggs are more dehydrated than you are. Like the premade eggs were scooped out of a literal ZipLock bag --this was witnessed by the absolute hero that crawled to his Range Rover like that iconic Jordan Belfort moment and reset our lives with these Tacos, instead of Quaaludes. This isn't brunch. This is a breakfast taco that is made for quick recovery. This is a Sunday 4am still drunk, survival tip taco. And honestly? They did their job. TL;DR -- if two negatives make a positive, then trash tacos, fix trash decisions.
