I found La Pasadita via Yelp: it's about a seven minute drive from our home. The translation means "the passageway" but this is not a narrow alley of foods. There was plenty of parking when we went there for breakfast during the week, but I think even on a busy weekend the parking would not be a problem. You can't miss it because of the bright colors. This immediately put me in a good mood and I was happy to find the color scheme extended to the interior as well. The dining room was immaculate. As you enter, rhumba to your right as you'll order at the counter. The staff is very helpful with regards to explaining ingredients and matching your hunger level to their delicious offerings. I was starving, so I had one of the breakfast plates and Frank opted for the smaller breakfast bowl. The restaurant was not crowded at 8AM but if crowded there are a variety of seating options from intimate to staff meeting. Our meals were delicious and I look forward to enjoying many more of the La Pasadita's tasty foods. Prices were in line given the quality of food and the South of the Border ambience. read more

As weird as it felt to me, decided to come here for a cheeseburger and fries, and it was surprisingly good.. First start with the fries (since they get eaten first to avoid getting cold and nasty lol). They were very hot, so a few minutes to cool off before I actually ate them.. They were cooked perfectly fine with seasoning salt, making them have a good flavor, though at the end of the day, fries are fries, so nothing exceptional or bad. Then onto the burger. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The veggies on it tasted fresh, and while I didn't like that mustard was served on the side instead of on the burger, it was very much a solid burger. The service was also good. The cashier was beautiful and helpful (first time going there, so walked me through the menu, most popular items, etc) so seemed to enjoy her job. My.worknwill order breakfest burritos from this place quite often. These are the best breakfest burritos I have ever had. There almost the size of a 40 oz can. I always get mine with chorizo, eggs, beans, peppers, grilled onions and at work I add grilled jalopenos to it. There sauces they pair with it are really good as well. I haven't tried the other stuff on there menu but I bet it's just as good. But 10 stars in my opinion. read more

This morning I tried La Pasadita for breakfast, had a chorizo and egg breakfast burrito with cheese. I'll do this one as a compliment sandwich. The eggs were cooked well, the building was cute. Unfortunately the burrito was very bland - the eggs could use some salt and the chorizo, I could barely taste it. The tortilla has been browned and that gave a nice texture, good tortilla. Unfortunately the wait was about 10 minutes which I felt was unreasonable for a breakfast burrito. While waiting I noticed a real big cockroach cruising around there at the counter by the coffee and ... fruit drink? Dispensers? The woman who took my order was very nice and it was overall a fine experience, unfortunately the burrito just did not live up to expectations. read more

As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted with "hello" and "welcome". Great menu options, I decided to go with the migas. Great choice. The food was delicious. Tasted like my mama's home cooking. Everything was perfect - the migas (corn fried tortillas, egg and cheese), potatos (papas) and refried beans. Love the mural outside this place, stopped as we are passing through the area and it had such good reviews. Lady at the register was nice but ordering breakfast tacos is really frustrating. You cannot order individual breakfast tacos. I asked for a bacon egg and cheese and a potato egg and cheese and was told I could not do that and would have to order two of each so instead of just getting 2 tacos I'd have to get 4. That, or I could put all the ingredients from those two tacos I wanted into one big taco....which if I wanted that I would have asked for that initially. I think that's a weird recommendation or option they would offer instead of just letting me order the 2 individual tacos I wanted. I have never in my life in the US or Mexico ever been to a Mexican restaurant that functions like this. I was over breakfast at that point and ordered some enchiladas. The chicken was fine but it tasted and looked like they just opened a can of red sauce and dumped it all over. It looked like straight tomato paste so I had a few bites and left the rest. Rice and beans had no flavor. My son couldn't eat his cheese enchiladas due to the weird sauce as well. Chips were stale, salsa was fine. We did a brunch order to go. We placed the order over the phone and they were able to tell us if the tortillas and the beans were vegetarian/ had lard in them (they're vegetarian). I got the huevos rancheros with the red sauce and corn tortillas. The sauce was perfect and had a good amount of heat. It also came with a couple more sauces on the side (orange and green). Ordered chicken fajitas and chips and salsa. Probably the worst chicken fajitas I've had. Chicken was flavorless and cooked weird. Portions for the rice and beans were ridiculously small, maybe 2 tablespoons of beans and a 1/3 cup of rice. Flower tortillas were crispy. They seemed like they would be good fresh, but were far from that. The chips were also stale, just like they had been heated up to try and make them better. I was with a group of 7 and nobody was very satisfied with portions, price, and taste. Really not sure how they have 4.5 stars honestly. The staff was nice and, maybe, a manager came out to make sure everything was good, then was informed 3 people never received their food. Thankfully they were the only ones that printed the receipt and they prepared the meals and brought them out. The only thing that was good was the salsa, it tasted fresh and had good flavor. 1 star for food's flavor and value Gave 2 because the staff was nice. read more

First time here. As I walked I noticed the big heavy doors. Nice. Place look nice and clean inside. Counter order. I ordered chips, guacamole, salsa, menudo with bread. Came out fast and they bring it to the table. The Guacamole and salsa tasted fresh. The menudo was really good. One of the better ones I have had in a while. Staff was very nice and fast.
