After paying 130$ for an oil change the car wouldn't start because the fan wouldn't shut off. I had asked during the oil change about the fan not working right but was gaslighted into thinking the car was just hot. When I brought it back telling them the fan won't shut off at all now they told it would 220$ to find out why. I did some asking around and found out this commonly happens to Chevy Trax because the temperature gage goes bad. This is a 20$ part that Gordon Chevy wanted to charge 220$ just to investigate and probably 500$ to fix. Their products and services suck. read more

I went in to have my transmission repaired and an oil change tire rotation and air filter, my vehicle was paid, the technician said you need a new vehicle, they ran checks said too many thing they found, soon i left with almost 8000 bill over half the things I did not approve. The estimate given for the transmission was 5000, far exceeded that figure charged for each bolt etc, over the years I bought 2 Silverados and this Colorado that is the problem. Will never buy from them again all they wanted me to do was spend another 30-35 on a new vehicle. Got there employees were nice enough told them again I was there for only a test drive they said that was fine, but ten minutes later said because I was not interested in buying thin that day that I couldn't test drive any of the car's So I wasn't an hour and 1/4 a tank of gas getting there and back I made my intention completely clear from the start so I don't see how they could blind side my like that. read more

I just left Gordon Chevrolet Used Car Sales today, and I must exclaim- they are Wonderful, Wonderful people!! I still don't love their choice of tv programs in their main areas, but they go out of their way to provide the best service and best deals in a 30 mile radius. After trying to deal on a slightly used Elantra at five different dealerships in town, Gordon was the only one willing to negotiate on the window price and willing to give me fair value for my trade. They were so nice, and quick too! I wasn't there for five hours like so many other dealers. In fact, I was there for less than two hours! He made sure each function of our Traverse was explained and went over the car with a fine toothed comb to find any slight damage it might have. The vehicle did have a small scratch on the front fender. James introduced us to Sarah who ensured expert repair of the scratch and provided us with a loaner car. A couple of weeks later we suffered a mishap which required replacement of a rear tail light. Again James ensured all went well. Sarah again came through in her highly professional way. Parts service counter absolutely sucks! Stood there for almost 10 minutes while all these employees walked thru the door passed me. No one acknowledged me at all. I watched the Parts guy on the phone hang up then walk backwards with his back facing me as he worked. There's no bell for me to tap to get his attention either. I was going to walk around to the mechanics window to order my part but I know that not a customer service window. Talk about getting upset for being ignored. Week ago I called to schedule air bag safety recall repair. They chose the day and time for my appointment. I asked the repair time period and was quoted 1.5 hour. I showed today @ 9:20 for my 9:30 appointment and was informed it would be 3 hours or I could leave for entire day if I wanted other items checked, before I walked away; they asked if I wished to reschedule. Funny, you lie to me and ask when I want to give you the chance to lie again! Lie to me once, shame on you; me allow you to lie to me again, shame on me. In the event of an accident and my family is hurt; I will be adding Gordon to the lawsuit. I have purchased many new vehicles here, I am a cash buyer and most buyers look to purchase and service at the same location. On September 3, 2020 I brought my vehicle to Gordon Chevrolet for an oil change and tire rotation. After being notified that my vehicle service was complete, I drove it home. The following morning, as I was driving out of my neighborhood I felt the vehicle begin to move left and right without the ability to control steering. I slowed down and managed to turn off the street into a parking lot where my rear driver side wheel came completely off the truck. In addition to the maintenance not being performed, the dealership failed to honor my request for a full size loaner truck while my vehicle was being repaired. It has now been 5 days and counting since my truck was towed back to Gordon Chevrolet to repair the damage caused by improper maintenance. I had to take my wife's 2018 Camaro which I bought there back to replace the convertible top because the rear window was separating from the top. It was replaced under warranty by the dealer, The next day my wife was driving and the top leaked by the driver side window all over her leg, We waited till we got a dry day and I had my wife sit in the car while I sprayed it with a garden hose. 30 seconds later it was leaking on her again. So I made an appointment to take the car back, They had it a day and half. When I picked it up I was told they couldn't find a leak, I asked the service manager if I could show him how it leaked, I took a garden hose they gave me, Sprayed it and it leaked. The manager called over the mechanic that worked on it and I showed him where it was leaking, He proceeded to tell me that I can't spray the hose at it like that because it lifts the weather stripping and causes the leak, And I stated to him what about if I drive the car in the rain or wash it, He gave me a irritated look than proceeded to put the convertible top down to take a look at it which in turn caused all the water to go all over the seats in the car staining them. When I told him he was giving me a B.S. story he stormed off into the shop, Then another shop manager came over to look at the car, Then started asking me questions like. How old are you! and which job were you better at, Which I think was out of line. Finally the only thing he could say is we will have to order a new weather stripping for the top we will call you when it comes in. About five days later I took the car back and it took them two and a half days to install the rubber stripping, The first day I brought the car in for the new top it only took one day for them to replace it, And it still has a small leak on the top of the driver side window, But I am done with them, Beware they have liars working there. The car we bought 2/13/2020 was to be detailed and a set of new set of Michelin tires put on & ready for pick up between 3 & 4pm the next day. We called shortly after 3pm....car not ready because the tire delivery truck was involved in an accident we were told someone from Gordon had to get a set of tires nearby....so we were asked to pick up about 6pm...we arrived at 6pm to pick up....still not ready because the tires were being put on Uniroyals Not Michelin tires.... To us Michelin is a better riding tire, Uniroyal is an Economy tire .... and the car still had to be detailed! .... Finally after dark the car was pulled around...someone got out and started cleaning the windows! You know after dark its difficult to see what was or was not done to the car. The next day 2/15/2020 we see the interior of the car was maybe vacuumed.... It Was Not Cleaned!!! read more

When i thought all things are good an there not.... When I bought my malibu I was informed that it had a Back up camera on the vehicle. well there's not. Ed Renaud help me getting one put on the car as an accessory. I have a 2 year warranty with the purchase and I am having issues in trying to have it function correctly. I feel like I spent good money on a product that gordon chevyrolet sold me and there are not trying to fix the problem at hand and sweeping me under the rug.... My car is at the dealer as im typing this and I contacted them today and asked what the status was and Kevin Hartung told me that they ran test and could not find any problems.... I not blind people! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! CROOKS! Gordon Chevrolet Orange Park performs busy work to charge you more money! We took our car in due to an electrical/power issue, that was impacting vehicle Lights, AC & RPM. Gordon charged our family $481.35 for an evaluation, a throttle body relearn, to test our existing battery and replace it with a NEW battery that WE (the customer) provided & to clean the throttle body, air chambers & injectors (using a direct injection kit). The very next day we had the same problem. Gordon stated the AC pressure was low and it would take $215.99 dollars to resolve and that the Transmission required a replacement and it would take $4,466.81 to fix! We took it to PepBoys for a second review and PepBoys indicated it was simply the alternator. PepBoy then replaced it for free, since we had a warranty. When we reached out to Gordon to rectify the situation, they denied this could have been the issue and refused to refund the money. Now they will get bad reviews from us on every site and to everyone we communicate with and they will also loose our business. read more
