This place has devolved into an incompetent, overpriced nightmare with zero work ethic. If you value your time, your wallet, or your safety, stay far away. Here is how they completely screwed me over a two-week period ROUND #1: Paid $250 for a repair thy could not show me what they have actually done. Just saying we had to replace a cable. THE ISSUE: Took my VW in for a basic electrical problem with the car light. THE "SERVICE": They left my car sitting in the lot for nearly a week. They completely ignored every single phone call and email update request. THE RESULT: I got a broken, un-openable text via a text message saying it was done. Because I trusted them after 15 years, I picked it up without checking. BIG MISTAKE. The next early in the morning on my way to work, the light failed again. It came how it did; I was pulled over by the police! I only avoided a ticket because I showed the officer the $250 receipt I had just paid O'Steen for "fixing" it. First, the finance department added approximately $4,000 in service, maintenance, and warranty products that I specifically did not want. I was promised a refund within 4-6 weeks, but I am still fighting to recover the money owed to me. Next, the dealership failed to submit my registration within the required 30-day window. After weeks of chasing them, they finally submitted it - incorrectly. They messed up the paperwork required to secure accessible plates for my husband, a 100% disabled military veteran (despite being given all of the necessary information and repeatedly told how important these plates are to his mobility). Think they cared about fixing this? They could have cared less - I had to take hours out of my day to go to the tag office and correct their mistake myself. Finally, they sent me home with the wrong key fob. When I called and asked them to correct their mistake, I was blamed for it (how was that my fault?!) and arrogantly told to, "calm down, lady." Instead of arranging a reasonable solution, they required me to make another two-hour round trip to retrieve the correct fob. I previously bought two Subarus from this dealer under its former ownership and received excellent service. The contrast under the current ownership could not be more striking. I deeply regret this purchase and will never return. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend buying elsewhere.

I used to go to AutoBell Car Wash and their policy is: anything on the floor is trash, if you don't want something thrown away move it onto your seat. But you can just tell what's trash or not (like napkins, empty paper cups, plastic wrappings etc). The Charlotte locations will simply just pick up your paper trash and leave it on your seats and you get a junky car returned to you. I didn't even have to tell Lex of Jax, they had common sense to know it was trash and threw away or vacuumed it for me. And I also had two bird poop stain on my hood and they made sure it was gone.
