There's not much parking, so they prefer that you "drop off" instead of staying around, but they won't complain if you wait. they failed to properly install my brakes. Overtime, the brakes heated and warped. Thousand dollar job, and now I have to go to another company. And pay them $400 to fix the work that Legacy did. My Lexus 460LS heat indicator was pegging intermitantly. The dealer diagnoses was a tiny cooling system leak and also noted a gasket that was leaking oil. Legacy did both repairs for $1,000 less than the dealer and guaranteed the work for two years. Meanwhile however, an employee misplaced the car key and it was accidentally destroyed. Apparently synchronizing the new key to the car is an incredibly complex electronic problem and had to be done by the dealer. There was purchasing a new key, towing to the dealer, awaiting weeks for very expensive parts to arrive, and poor communication from the dealer. Legacy did not make any excuses, kept me informed, provided a courtesy car, and absorbed all the costs without complaint. An alternative "American Dream" is finding an honest, reasonable, capable, and trustworthy mechanic. I've found mine. read more

My daughter has a 2010 Toyota corolla. She heard a grinding g noise this morning and took it in, being a dad a few hundred miles away I had prior experience with Legacy so I said bring it back to them. An hour later i had the diagnostics done, i ok'd the work and she is mobile again in less than a day. Reliable friendly fair service. My vans air conditioning started blowing hot, so I went to a local mechanic and I had it charged two weeks ago and apparently it didn't do the job. i am visiting my daughter and her family who live in the area and she recommended I contact Legacy Automotive to get an appointment to bring it in. I explained that a couple of days ago my driver side window was no longer rolling down. I also explained that I heard a grinding sound on the passenger side window that started yesterday.They told me that they would take a look at the windows also. They were very accommodating. I explained that I had a doctors appointment the next day and I would need to pick it up and bring it back if the job couldn't be completed in a day. They said that wouldn't be a problem. They were able to put dye in my AC lines and immediately found the problem, they fixed it within a couple of hours. During the time they had it they were also able to fix both my windows regulators (one failed and one was binding and about to fail). I was able to pick up my vehicle in about 4-5 hours. It didn't cost me an arm and leg and now I have COOL air conditioning again. If needed, Legacy Automotive will be my go to place when I am in town. Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and very professional. I highly recommend this company. read more

So very thankful we found Legacy Automotive! My son bought his first car - an older model Honda Civic. It ended up with oil leak. Had a few people look at it and told us to cut our losses that it would be too expensive to fix. From the first phone call they were professional, helpful and positive. Everything about this shop is awesome. They are responsive, customer-focused, honest, reliable, priced reasonable and they know their cars. I couldn't recommend Legacy Automotive any more. They stay busy, so plan accordingly, it's a small miracle if you can get the car in and out on short notice, but they are VERY accommodating and will do what they can to get to your car quickly. The AC went out on our 2014 CRV in the middle of our first Florida summer. After 3 trips to a local Honda dealership, with no answers and no results, we searched for a close auto shop with good reviews. We made the appointment with Legacy, and they got us in within a few days. Once they had the CRV, Mark identified the issue and had it fixed and ready for pickup by 3pm that afternoon. The AC was finally working and blowing cold again, and we couldn't have been happier with their service. I appreciate that he calls during the repair process to keep the customer updated. I was told that my oil plug was "stripped and it would need to be drilled out to be replaced". Those words came from a reputable business that refused to do the work, offered problems without any solutions. I saw the reviews for Legacy and decided to get a second opinion. Mark had my car looked at, diagnosed and the oil changed within a couple hours; and he didn't have to drill out the oil plug. I'm so thankful for honest people doing awesome work.
