This place nails the awesome tavern vibes. Our server was really really nice and attentive. We ordered the Tavern Trio, Fried Green Tomatoes, Baja chicken sandwich, and tomato basil soup (soup of the season) We enjoyed everything except the soup. I could swear it was just marinara pizza sauce that looked like thick tomato paste in a cup with strange white foam with something green drizzled on top. I really wanted to like it because I get that soup at any restaurant we try but I do not recommend it here. I also would recommend they place a sign at the door to seat yourself.

Stopped in here quickly for lunch with my bestie while we were in Alvin ! We split the Bavarian pretzels with queso and spicy mustard which were phenomenal!!!!!! The bread was so soft and perfect! Then we split the smoked cheddar burger that was like beef, brisket, and rib meat I think? And had a peppered bacon and bbq sauce!!! PROBABLY THE BEST BURGER I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME! The meat and bun were outstanding ! Great local find! Would definitely recommend

My first time here and so happy I tried it! The owner was so nice, stopping by our table to help us decide which great entree to get! I will be back

Sweet little tavern we stumbled upon while driving through...glad we did. Nice balance of bar and quaint restaurant. We were seated promptly. We ordered fried mozzarella, super good! Cheese had a nice pull...IYKYK! Sauce served hot...very tasty. Club sandwich was good, very basic sandwich. Kids Mac and cheese was super yummy...and we have a picky kiddo. Fries were nice and crispy. We ordered the wings...hot sauce, very good. Probably the best wings I've had in awhile. They were very good. I ordered a side of broccoli (served with shaved Parmesan I think) and side of Mac & cheese. Sides were great. Service was great...and she had alot of tables so great job! Game was on...nice little gem to stumble upon and have great food. We will definitely be back to try some other yummy dishes.

This was my first time here and really enjoyed it! Service was good and the place was really neat. Had the happy hour appetizers and they were tasty. I ordered the white winter cosmo and honestly it was horrible. Will go back but not ordering that drink.

My granddaughter brought home some fried fish (cod) and it was amazing. I look forward to eating there in 2026.

My family and I stopped in last Friday as a party of 16. We actually confirmed the reservation as 14 guests but miscounted and the team at Gordon Street accommodated us without a problem. The staff were beyond friendly and the service was exceptional, even with such a wild group. The lemon drop martini was one of the best I've ever had and came super fast, which was much-needed. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Grilled Cheese with avocado and bacon with the seasonal soup which was black bean. Delicious- fun food!

First time here! More than a Tavern for sure. Service is great so far, very attentive. Comfy half booth facing the bar. There is a nice covered outside area too. The appetizer was good also! Just a little food bite while we happy hour! Grilled cheese and soup for dinner. Good time and good food. We will be back. Amanda was great!

Love it! The service is good, I love the food, and the ambiance is nice. I recommend that you should go there if you're in Downtown Alvin.

It's a nice to have a bar that's open until 2 am in Pearland. Our server was nice, but not very efficient. We had to ask for things multiple times before she brought it. For instance, instead of asking the entire table if we wanted water, she only brought out one water when I requested it (twice). Generally if one guest is asking for something like silverware or water, you would think the server would ask the rest of the party if they would also like the same request. We also had to ask for paper towels for our table. They had a summer drink menu on the table even though it was January. I asked the server if the bar was able to make the drinks and she said she wasn't sure but would check. I ordered some sort of cucumber cocktail and it was basically a vodka tonic. There was no cucumber in the drink anywhere, but at least it was a heavy pour. I also had a Deep Eddy Lime with Tonic. For apps, we had Fried Okra and Boudin Balls. The okra was good and it came with quite a few French fries as well as a side of ranch dressing. I don't eat Boudin often, but this one was good. For my entree, I had the Grilled Chicken Wrap and it was good. Bogie's is not fancy, but it's good enough given the lack of bars in Pearland.
