The food was amazing! It got here fast and they were super kind to us. We had brought our dog here, and they gave us some dog treats that she loved! Boondoggles is such a pretty, nice place for Sunday brunch.

Pizza in front- John Dough (pepperoni and sausage) and pizza in back- Quattro Formaggio (4 cheese, Canadian bacon & mushroom)

The pizza is amazing!! I ordered the Quattro Formaggio. Delicious We enjoyed sitting on the patio with Penny, and the wait staff was so kind. They even brought a pup cup for our fur baby.

Been coming to Boondoggles Pub since the day it was established in 1998. It's been a while & received the same great service from day one. Good food/Pizza, family & pet friendly patio.

We wanted a Rueben like Ziggy's Downtown. We googled Best Rubens in our area and Boondoggles came up. Great we love Boondoggles. Used to go there all the time when we had our boat and now kayaks. We sat inside for the first time. Dark, a little loud for 2 o'clock in the afternoon. That's OK we've been bartenders before, we adapt. We asked the bartender about the claim of being the best Rueben in the area, "It was the best sandwich on the menu in her opinion." Great we ordered 2. Disappointment. Skimpy corn beef. No more than 2 tablespoons of sauerkraut tops, no sauce apparent until we found tiny cups, buried under the homemade and yummy chips. The biggest part of this sandwich was the VERY DRY toasted rye bread. Boondoggles is a great place to go and party pulling up your boat to park right there. We're five stars on their pup friendly patio but we can't recommend the Rueben. ‍

Was looking for a dog friendly restaurant that offered more than just burgers and wings, and we got that and more. This very unique spot offers lots of shaded patio seating and plenty of parking. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon and was able to self seat immediately. They offered our Pepper a cold bowl of water, which we loved. Our server was very nice and quick. We ordered everything from brick oven pizza, pesto pasta, grilled chicken and even a Pup a patty! Everything was super yummy and Pepper was happy! The Hawaii Pizza with shrimp was a first and a you must try! Great food, great service overall great experience! If your looking for a pup friendly spot that does more than wings and burgers look no further! Happy Eating

My dog Luna's favorite place to get some great pizza and meet a very friendly staff. A great ambiance to just hang out. We love their meatballs too. See you soon :)

Went for a few bites, we tried the pizza chips, amazing!! The buffalo wings, were saucey and crispy! The fried ravioli were probably my favorite though, the filling was so good and had a little spice to them! Very tasty! We wanted to get a pizza, but were too full from our appetizers! Next time! We had great service all around! The atmosphere is total a pub, but a nice one! This is a great place to visit and have a fun time with your family and friends!

We took a boat ride and stopped by this restaurant, the food was delicious and the place was clean. Loved the atmosphere off the water as well. Service was excellent. Honestly you never no what to expect on the boat but I was shocked because the food was so good.

It is the stalwart staple of the American Republic. I have them add Jalapeños because I am a glutton for punishment. But, I can't count how many times I have ordered this burger and it is juicy, flavorful, hot, calling my name. Just a little too messy to eat free-handed without a tray beneath you. Summertime! Huge staff of waiters, indoor and outdoor seating. Giant covered patio facing the Kemah Port, a field of docked Sailboats. And Kemah's theme park with roller coasters and rides right on the water. So fun, for those of us living farther inland. I feel like I am in a skit from High School Musical 2, summer, summer, summer! Serenity, Madison, Sarah, and Kylie. All very helpful upfront and happy. A slew of guys running around with trays in their hands and accouterments for sweeping and wiping down surfaces. I add Onion Rings because these beasts will remind you why the Onion is King! I also add Fried Pickles and Ranch, because I'm American. And finally order a Squealer Burger for my wife, because I love her. As always: the Loo Review (for my friends in the UK) Wandering back through the tight walls of, what looks like make-shift wooden walls and ceiling, like a shanty built on the waterfront, you find the bathrooms tucked, as usual, way in the back, until the actual bathroom hallway, which is very "up-to-code" clean finished mint painted sheetrock and mahogany wainscoting, just so everybody can rest assured we have your bathroom trip under control. Nothing spectacular, but bright yellow stall divider walls, and large commercial tile slabs, easy to clean with a mop, sinks, uh normal and...yep, nothing to see here... I have literally been online with friends of mine from the UK who were like, "you're at Tookie's!? I have heard of that place, I'm so jealous..." and they should be. You should come grab a burger and some fried treats, as well, maybe I'll catch you there!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm Mediterranean charm. The restaurant is beautiful, inviting, and filled with Greek-inspired décor. You can choose to dine inside or relax on their lovely outdoor patio. Our waitress, Rachel, was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. She made us feel right at home! We kicked off our meal with a couple of appetizers, and they were every bit as impressive as they were delicious. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and served with warm, fluffy pita bread. We also enjoyed the falafels--perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and even better dipped in their spicy feta spread! For my entrée, I chose the Lunch Special featuring a savory spinach pie, served with a fresh Greek salad and a cup of their famous Avgolemono (Greek lemon soup) . It was light, comforting, and packed with flavor. My grandson ordered the Chickpea Salad , a dish he loved so much on a previous visit that he couldn't resist ordering it again. That's always a good sign! My husband selected the Stuffed Shrimp Special . The plate was absolutely beautiful--jumbo baked shrimp stuffed with a savory crab dressing, served over a bed of mushroom orzo. It tasted every bit as incredible as it looked! If you're ever in Seabrook, Texas, and you're craving something fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, I highly recommend Athena's Corner Greek Restaurant. You'll enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, outstanding hospitality, and food that's made with care and bursting with authentic flavor. Best Bites Approved! Have you been to Athena's Corner? My vehicle broke down at the dock at Lakeside Yachting Center during a storm, and I couldn't find a tow company willing to come get me. I ended up being stuck at the dock overnight. The staff at Seabrook Classic Cafe were incredibly kind and let me come in to charge my phone while I figured things out. I was very hungry, so I ordered their egg sandwich, and it was fresh and delicious. Even though I live about an hour away, that experience made such a good impression that I came back later to try more of their menu. I'm happy to say everything else I tried was just as good. The stuffed jalapenos were excellent, very flavorful and stuffed with crab and cheese. I also ordered the chicken fried chicken, which was great, especially with their toast. The fruit bowl was fresh, and of course I had to get another egg sandwich, which was just as good as I remembered. They even brought us a complimentary slice of carrot cake, and it was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back again to get more of that carrot cake, and next time I'd also love to try their prime rib. Our server was very friendly, and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. It has a cozy, retro diner feel that makes it a great place to sit down and relax. This restaurant has absolutely earned my business. Even though I live an hour away, I make multiple trips to the South, and I'll definitely be stopping here often!

I used to come here all the time with an ex-boyfriend but haven't been back in years. I made the drive from Katy to Bacliff to pick up some vintage garden trellises, and at just two miles away, I immediately knew lunch had to be at T-Bone Tom's. One of my favorite things about this place is the absolutely massive outdoor seating area. It's covered, so normally it's a fantastic place to sit without roasting in direct sun, but after several days of heavy rain mixed with Houston humidity and temperatures around 90 degrees, there was absolutely no convincing anyone in my party that sitting outside for lunch was a good idea. Only my second time ever sitting indoors here. The place was already bustling by 11:30 and packed by noon, which tells you everything you need to know. We were greeted immediately when we arrived, and even though we came through the back entrance for patio seating, the hostess was cheerful and accompanied us to the dining room, where we were also immediately greeted by one of the indoor hostesses. Our server Joshua was excellent throughout the meal--friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always on top of things. We started with drinks and boudin balls, which came with four and ranch dressing. I tend to go through phases of what I'm addicted to, and right now it's boudin balls. If it's on the menu, I'm ordering them. These were fried to perfection, hot, and delicious. A great appetizer to start the meal. While we waited to order our main course, there were two things our table seemed to rave about: giant drink glasses and crackers. It sounds silly, but not having to constantly wait around for refills makes a big difference. And crackers on the table? It seemed like memory lane for the older members of our party, who quite enjoy bits of nostalgia. So few restaurants bother doing little things like that anymore, so my lunch selection was awarding me kudos before the lunch even started! Mom and Mark split the 14 oz. ribeye with spinach and potato salad. Although splitting two sides might have been enough, Mom added a side of mashed potatoes for herself. It's always a toss up with restaurants and steak. True mediums aren't always a true medium--you have to order medium rare or medium well to get it just right. But the medium here is actually a medium. Mom kept talking about how delicious the steak was and said it was one of the best she's had in a long time. If you know my mom, compliments don't come easy. It's a big deal. Ha. I ordered the plate I always get: the Monterey chicken with fried okra and spinach. It may have been years since I was last here, but this dish is as excellent as it has always been, if not better. The chicken was incredibly tender, cooked perfectly, and covered with flavorful mushrooms and onions. I also really love that their vegetables are homemade rather than straight out of a freezer bag. The fried okra and fresh spinach were wonderful. Berta ordered the chopped beef sandwich with potato salad. They gave her so much beef, there was enough for two people to enjoy that plate. She ended up taking more than half home. We finished the meal with vanilla ice cream and their infamous bread pudding, which was warm, rich, and easily enough dessert for four people to share. Mom had ordered it for herself and said she didn't want to share, but when she saw how big the portion was, she asked Berta and I to join in. T-Bone Tom's is a popular place among locals and tourists alike. It offers great food, a fun atmosphere, friendly service, and remains one of those places that still feels uniquely Texas in the best possible way. We'll definitely be back, and much sooner this time!

We weren't seated in the greater eating area where it was cooler and maybe where the gnats were less of a bother. The food was delicious and homemade, you can tell it was made with high quality ingredients and that Southern skill that you can only get from helping Grandma in the kitchen. BUT the roaches made us lose our appetite. Such a shame. It seemed like the building went down. They don't seem to put as much effort into the condition of that place as they do the food. Dusty ceiling fans and crummy floors. I appreciate the homey vibe but it looked really junky, more stuff piled in unoccupied corners as before. I gave a lot of things the side eye, I mean it there has to be maintained asthetic. They charged an 18% gratuity on my tab for a party of 8 but I arrived with 4 people, the other 4 had already been there, paid and was almost done with their meal. Then of course the cashier/waitress still mentioned an additional, optional tip. I didn't think that was fair. At the end of it all she wasn't the best waitress.
