The best thing about this business is that I can order a guitar, put it on my Gear Card with 6 months of interest free financing, and I have 45 days to decide if its the guitar for me. I have returned several guitars using this benefit and always end up finding the right guitar with the sound I like. The only issue I have is the size of the Acoustic guitar room and the limited number guitars to tryout at the store. The big stores in places like Orlando have a real advantage with space. However, because of the 45 day return benefit when purchasing at Guitar Center, I can still get any guitar I want to try it out within about a week. Over all Guitar Center gets a good rating from me and I actually ordered another guitar today. Can't wait until it comes in. Go Guitar Center !!!

I took my grandson in guitar center Tallahassee, my first time in a guitar center, I'm 62 retired…read moreguitar player all my life, I have a huge collection, anyway I wanted my grandson to pick out a nice guitar, I've sent him a few through Sweetwater, we walk through the door, they just look at us, no hello, no can I help you, we had questions for a purchase, they still ignored us, I don't think corporate cares, the CEO is on YouTube saying he cares, and that they train there employees. I don't believe you Gabe. I'm never going back, this is why Sweetwater will get my hard earned money every time. Watching people walk out of guitar center like us was unbelievable, I wonder if they lose money like that at there other stores.

Even though…read morethis is not a small local business, I would still rather try to purchase local than on Amazon. The size of selection of guitars seems pretty big, many of which are out of reach. For studio and other equipment, it is on par with other stores. I was ready to drop a few bills in here, but when I walked in, no one said hello or we'll be right with you. I browsed for a good 10 minutes or so. I was never approached. I did have a few questions but didn't see the brands I was looking for on the shelves so I left. The prices I saw were not bad considering it is a chain. However I can visit the smaller business down the road and get the same deal with better service. This was my first time in there and needed some last minute equipment for our practice. I can't say I won't return, but it will likely be a similar situation where it's something I need right away that I can't find elsewhere.
