This is a smaller Bass Pro Shop but still an enjoyable shopping experience. If you've never been to one, they have tons of outdoors supplies: hunting, fishing, camping, etc. Lots of sunglasses, fishing poles, tents, knives, crossbows, guns, and ammo to choose from. They have bigger items too like kayaks, canoes and boats. They also have a bunch of Black Rifle Company merch. I usually come here for ammo. They sometimes have buy one get one half price deals on it. The store is set up to look like a huge cabin. There's lots of wood. There are taxidermied animals. There is a huge fish tank in the back of the store. At Christmas time, they have a Santa for the kids to meet. Staff are super friendly and helpful, but every single one will try to get you to join their membership program. The only way into the program is the get a Bass Pro credit card. I got the card, and the $60 I got in store credit as part of the sign up deal was worth it to me. read more

I was unsure if the adjacent Walmart tolerated overnight parking - I don't recall seeing any signs - and the rvparky.com app said no, but it also suggested that this Bass Pro did tolerate it. So when I arrived after the Bass Pro was closed, I lined up next to a landscaping island in the parking lot and settled in. I was out early in the morning before they opened so I have no idea about the inside of the store. But for me, I'm a fan of Bass Pro thanks to their policy of tolerating overnight RV parking. Service is nonexistent in the gun area. The employees walk around like they are just before expiring. No eye contact with anyone, no greeting, no engagement whatsoever. Really need a management overhaul. read more

My wife and I were traveling through Tallahassee Florida and decided to stop and go to Bass Pro. This was one of their Outpost store which means it's a little smaller than others. Neither one of us was in need of anything but it was fun just to browse the store. I did purchase a couple fish deflation devices for offshore fishing which they had in stock. Like all the rest of the Bass Pros we been to this store had a large fish aquarium and stuffed animals throughout the store The store clerks were helpful and offered assistance. We would return to this Bass Pro if we needed their service. read more

If you're into fishing or anything remotely outdoorsy, this is the store for you! This location of the national chain is a slightly smaller footprint than some others I've visited (DFW, for instance), but they've got everything you'd expect them to have, as well as good service. Every time I go into a Bass Pro Shop I find something new on which to spend money. In addition to high quality fishing gear and tackle, you'll find kayaks, bikes, action wear, outerwear, shoes, sunglasses, and snacks. They've even got a huge aquarium for entertainment and education. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this store is now a distributor of Black Rifle Coffee and gear. read more

I don't like to slam a business but... Google "does bass pro shops buy guns" and there on the site you learn that they do. Or do they? I traveled 20 minutes to the store only to be told by the 2 individuals working the front counter that they don't. Not sure why they advertise that they do buy guns only to be told they don't. I just love Bass Pro Shops. I have been to so many locations. This location is a smaller Bass Pro Shop and it doesn't have a restaurant either. We came to this location for pictures with Santa. This was a great idea as we could have our beagle in it. The staff was friendly and constantly giving us hellos and my beagle treats. The store is organized like the other based on hunting or fishing. It was clean and the restrooms were also clean. It looks well managed and maintained. We will be back at this location when in the area. read more

We love to go see the huge fish tank in the rear of the store. The experience is a bit hampered by walking through metal turnstiles and the awkward jilted personalities of the people walking around in branded shirt's who appear to be working but also look at me as if I'm invading their space or look through me if I'm not there. I hail from rural North Florida, and hospitality is free flowing around here, but something's off in this store. Not my cup of tea, however the merchandise is well stocked and organized. The only reason I can't give more stars is because the "vibes". It's a bit twilight zone/black mirror (to me). read more

On a 2020 sport fish 22DLX the weld between two sections of pontoon log were not done properly and separated almost causing us to lose the boat (sink). Tried to contact sun tracker directly also used local dealer but no return calls or email. Just got informed that they will not honor warranty. So when weld broke and I made a direct line to safety They feel I should have let the boat sink and possibly have loss of life(wife and I are seniors and she is not in best health) so I came into contact with something as the boat was now listings 18 inches towards back port side in my best effort to get to the dock. read more

It's a beautiful and we'll stocked store with a very diverse selection. I have just recently decided to get back into archery after 25 years and they're archery department is excellent. Justine helped me set up my bow and gave me some huge pointers on sighting in and using my five pin sight. It has really helped my shooting accuracy. read more

I came looking for a mosquito head net and a safari hat to put it over. Bass Pro Shop had the net but not the safari hat. I generally like Bass Pro Shops and they do carry a wide variety of merchandise at reasonable prices. The carry good quality name brand items. It is located completely on the other side of Tallahassee from me but the drive is worth it. read more

I've historically enjoyed shopping at the Bass Pro Shop, but this was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had in a retail establishment and I've been around for a few years. To be fair to the rest of the staff, it was specifically Rob in the gun department that was completely unprofessional and so rude it was hard to believe. I guess it's a sign of the times and the inability of businesses to get educated, qualified employees. I'm sure Rob is qualified to do something, it just shouldn't be a job that actually interfaces with a customer. I will certainly never be back to this store and it has unfortunately soured me on the entire chain. read more

Bass is a great store. But, I'd prefer not to be greeted at the entrance with a handshake by the store greeter. Yes, it's seems nice and it's harmless however I just don't need to shake hands with a store representative. A simple welcome will do. It is flu season. Do you want to shake hands with every customer that entered the store before you? Also, I can do without the in store time share sales people. Can't I just shop without being persuaded by a sales person to enter a sweepstakes and push me into buying a trip to a timeshare sales event? I just came in for ammo. This store has been out of stock of a lot of fishing gear for awhile. At this point COVID is no longer an excuse.

Before I begin, I will say was impressed with the store in that it has pretty much everything you would ever need for your outdoor adventures. However, I was very disappointed with the staff and management. For starters, the staff here were almost elusively old men. With that they all act in a way that seems condescending and rude. Secondly, the staff was not very knowledgeable about the products and I ended up looking up my questions on my phone since the staff didn't know and didn't bother to ask around(I was mainly in the hunting department). I ended up just leaving and going to Kevin's Guns and Sporting Goods where the staff was younger, friendlier, and even was able to price match the bass pro website. The difference between these stores is night and day. Although I am not able to speak to all aspects of the store since I was mainly in the hunting department, I would say that if you are looking to buy a gun and don't want the experience to be one giant headache, check out some local places where the experience will be much better for the same price. read more

Please update your hours on here. We stopped here specifically because the time said 9:00 am. We were there at 9:01 and I could tell the sticker on the window that said 10 am was new... we drove about 30 minutes out of our way and our son can't use his gift cards he got for his birthday- bummer! read more
